Description

SELF-SUPPORTING HEAT I NSULATI NG PANEL FOR THE SYSTEMS WITH ACTIVE REGULATION OF HEAT TRANSITION
Area of technology
Technological handling is related to constructional handling of self-supporting heat insulating panel with active thermal protection for application with system of active regulation of heat transition used in panel building of new buildings and for the construction of prefabricated objects made of light external claddings and production of internal environment of the buildings in application of low-temperature heating and high-temperature cooling mostly with the use of renewable energy sources. Technological handling falls within the scope of building industry.
Existing state of technology
Design of usual energy saving buildings consists of the design of building constructions with massive layers of thermal insulation, that have from the standpoint of structure required thermal resistance, i.e. coefficient of heat transition and energy systems used for heating, ventilation and cooling, that use mainly renewable energy sources that is mostly solar and geothermal energy.
In case of usual energy saving buildings, the system of building constructions with massive layer of thermal insulation are used, that have from the standpoint of the structure required thermal resistance, i.e. coefficient of heat transition. Even panels, so called sandwich wall panels, where space between peripheral parts, out of whose at least one is supporting part, is filled with thermal-insulating material, e.g. foam material as it is described in published Slovak application of utility model PUV 50090-2009 are known. The construction of multilayer panel with central insulation is described even in published German document DE 1 9849135, published Chinese document CN201 155161 , CN2844259 and CN2721 744 with lightened vertical cavities in concrete supporting panel. Even construction of prefabricated panels with heat insulation applied to concrete panel during his production as it is described in documents FR-A-2584437 and FR-A-2 507647 is known, though its production is problematic.
The shortcoming of such construction of panels is that it is not possible to actively regulate heat transition depending on the exterior temperature.
System of active thermal protection that is already applied in the construction of some buildings has brought qualitatively new dimension into the problem of building constructions for energy saving buildings. Active thermal protection brings so called internal energy source, considered as an energy system integrated into the zone between the static part and heat insulating part of the building construction in a form of low-temperature heat transitioning material obtained from captured and cumulated solar and geothermal energy to building constructions. Application of this active thermal protection is implemented e.g. to a building where for the purpose of the distribution of low-temperature heat transitioning liquid material obtained from solar and geothermal energy to the exterior wall of constructed b uilding, or to the interior part of the wall of e.g. listed buildings, tube system or hosepipe system is attached and overlaid with plaster, heat insulation and cover plaster. This is applied to new buildings as well as to existing buildings when providing heat cladding. They are also applied in construction of external walls when tubes or hosepipes of hydraulic system , which enable heating or cooling of the building as it is described in Slovak patent document No.284 751 , are overlaid with concrete. This is applied to new buildings as well as to existing buildings when providing heat cladding.
Moreover, a way of building by permanent shuttering, mostly polystyrene one, is known, where active thermal protection is placed and just after the action of placing on the building the inner space of permanent shuttering is filled with poured concrete mixture. In the next step, the concrete must become solid and reach required stability within 28 days. This technology is so called "wet process of building". This is applied only to new buildings. The disadvantage of heat insulating panels without active thermal protection is that their thermal resistance is directly proportional to the thickness of heat insulation. Their function is to form the cover construction of building. They cannot actively react to sudden changes of exterior temperature. They do not have the capacity to provide heating, cooling and ventilation of the building.
Low thermal losses, i.e. thermal gains predetermine application of low-temperature heating systems e.g. large-area floor-, wall- and ceiling- heating or cooling for energy saving buildings. Recuperative ventilation of buildings with capacity of warm air heating system or cooling system is inevitable for reaching passive standard of energy.
Nowadays, we know numbers of variants combining in principle 3 types of energy, i.e. solar energy obtained from solar collectors and solar panel roofs, geothermal energy obtained from heat pumps, soil thermal reservoirs, soil collectors or energy from surrounding environment obtained by heat pump in a system water-to-water, air-to- air and ground-to-ground. In many cases, combinations of these sources of heat and energetic systems are unnecessarily over- dimensed and over-combined and therefore their investment costs are from the standpoint of overall economic return and energy saving unacceptable. The only way to achieve the design of optimal energy saving building from the point of view of energy demandingness, profits and environmental load is right application of heat sources and integration of energy systems in a building. Perfect harmony between building constructions and energy systems forming healthy, hygienically satisfying inner environment of buildings must be achieved.
Abovementioned shortcomings of existing systems of constructions of self-supporting heat insulating panels without active heat regulation with respect to limited function, higher operating costs of the building and saving of primary sources of energy led to the possibility to solve this problem by appropriate technological means.
The result of such effort is the construction of self-supporting heat insulating panel for the systems with active regulation of heat transition. Basis of technological handling
Abovementioned shortcomings are removed by the construction of self-supporting heat insulating panel for the systems with active regulation of heat transition according to this technological handling. Self-supporting heat insulating panels can have multiple purposes or can have just one. The most important functions are e.g. function of heat barrier, wall heating, cooling, ventilation, solar absorbent and combinations of these functions. The basis of technological handling is that it is of sandwich at least three-layer construction and that in the basic realization it consists of two peripheral structures and of one central structure. At least one out of two peripheral structures is supporting. There exist even realizations, where both peripheral structures are supporting. In case that only the first peripheral part is supporting, usually interior, then exterior, the second peripheral structure is architectural. Supporting peripheral structures are in one case of realizations basically panel blocks and are made on the basis of concrete or reinforced concrete or other in building industry normally used concrete mixtures. In the second case of realizations, supporting peripheral structures can be also metal or plastic or wood constructions or panels or even by shape reinforced metal plates, or eventually other suitable materials. It can also be monolithic block of organized mutually connected shaped bricks. In the third case the supporting peripheral structures can be provided with framed structure. Central structure consists of at least one layer of heat insulation of one or more kinds. Heat insulation for the purposes of this technological handling can be polystyrene, rock wool, stone wool, polyurethane mixtures, cellulose, organic materials such as straw, sheep wool, materials applied in contact or ventilated heat cladding systems and all other heat insulations and their combinations applied in building industry. In the inside or on the surface of at least one peripheral structure or central structure is at least one built-in tube or hosepipe and/or channel arrangement of the distribution of the heat transitioning liquid or gaseous medium. For the purpose of improvement of the static and dynamic characteristics of the self-supporting heat insulating panel for the systems with active regulation of heat transition the space delimited by peripheral structures with reinforcing, connecting and anchoring elements normally used in building industry is profitable.
For the type where the first peripheral structure, usually the interior one, is supporting and the external- the second peripheral structure is architectural, it is sufficient that the second external peripheral structure is thin-walled with wood and/or plastic and/or plasterboard and/or metal base. In such realizations it is possible to place at least one tube or hosepipe arrangement of the distribution of the heat transitioning medium within the content or on the surface of the layer of heat insulation of the central structure. Other alternative is to place one tube or hosepipe arrangement of the distribution of heat transitioning medium on the inner plane of the second peripheral structure.
For other type where the air is heat transitioning medium, channel arrangement of the distribution of gaseous heat transitioning medium can be situated on one or on both front planes of one peripheral structure which was already created for example on the base of ceram ist concrete.
On the basis of the base of invention is possible to create even such type of line of self-supporting heat insulating panel for the systems with active regulation of the heat transition consisting of two supporting peripheral structures where the central structure with the layer of heat insulation contains a cavity inside the heat insulation. Here at least one peripheral structure contains at least one channel arrangement of the distribution of the heat transitioning gaseous medium with the advantage of the air. There exists advanced variant of the handling, where in the cavity of the central structure with the layer of the heat insulation is placed at least one heat transition body. In this case inlet channel arrangement of the distribution of heat transitioning gaseous medium is contained for example in the first peripheral structure and channel outlet arrangement of the distribution of the heat transitioning medium is consisted for example in the second peripheral structure.
Technological handling enables to construct even self-supporting heat insulating panels for the systems with active regulation of the heat transition consisting of two thin-walled peripheral structures produces mostly on the basis of metal plate or of wood. These thin -walled peripheral constructions can be even placed on the supporting framed structure, while central structure can contain reinforcing element in a form of large-area plate on the basis of wood or plastic or metal or plasterboard and heat insulating layers so, that at least one layer of the heat insulation of the central structure consists of at least one tube or hosepipe arrangement of the distribution of the liquid heat transitioning medium.
It is valid for all abovementioned handlings of construction of self- supporting panels for the systems with active regulation of heat transition that at least one tube or hosepipe or channel arrangement of the distribution of the heat transitioning liquid or gaseous medium is the element of low-temperature heating or cooling or heat barrier in a system of active thermal protection.
From interior side of the panel it is possible to build heat- conductive or reflecting layer between peripheral structure and heat insulating layer of self-supporting heat insulating panel for the systems with active regulation of the heat transition . This heat-conductive or reflecting layer can be on the basis of the plaster, heat-conductive cling film, heat-conductive paint coat, surface coating or eventually of any other combination. Even exterior side of the second peripheral structure can be provided with layer of external coating as reticulum, adhesive material and plaster.
The advantages of the construction of the heat insulating panel for systems with active heat insulation for application with the system of active regulation of the heat transition according to established technological handling are apparent from the effects how it externally manifests itself. It is possible to point out, that building constructions for energy saving buildings are not dependent on the thickness of the static part of the construction but on the heat insulating ability of external insulating layers. This means that static part can be of maximum admissible thickness. By application of the building constructions with inner energy source, so-called active thermal protection used in energy saving buildings, technical heat characteristics equal to usual building constructions used in energy saving buildings shall be achieved with few times thicker heat insulation. Building constructions with inner energy source of energy use at least 30% of long-term accumulated energy in a long-term heat reservoir with respect to the temperature of heat transitioning material supplied to the heat barrier- active thermal protection with the temperature from 12°C. Rest of the energy is supplied from the short- term accumulation containers charged by the solar heat collectors and heat pump using the collector of soil heat reservoir, eventually by the other source. These abovementioned advantages are derived from abovementioned suggested constructions of self-supporting heat insulating panels for systems with active regulating of the heat transition according to the technological handling, that allows to use abovementioned constructions of systems of energy saving buildings thanks to central production of such prefabricated panels according to the technological handling and by their carrying to the building site where they are immediately incorporated into the construction. Another advantage is the multi-functional character of these panels produced in a unified way, resulting from the utilization of the combination of building system and energy system, this means that during the construction of the building the heating, cooling or ventilation system are realized simultaneously what lowers the costs of the whole building.

Examples of realizations of technical handling
It is taken into consideration that individual realizations of technological handling are presented for the illustration and not as restrictions of technological handlings. Experts acknowledged with the state of technology will find or will be able with the use no more than routine experiments to find a lot of equivalents to specific realizations of technological handling. Even such equivalents will fall within the scope of following requirements for protection. For the experts acknowledged with the state of technology it cannot be a problem to make optimal designs of construction, so these marks were not handled in detail. Example 1

There is also tube arrangement 2 of the distribution of the heat transitioning liquid medium as an element of active thermal protection- heat barrier is integrated on the inside surface of heat insulation 1 from interior side. Tube arrangement 2 of the distribution of the heat transitioning liquid medium as an element of the second active thermal protection- heat barrier, eventually solar absorber is integrated on the outside surface of heat insulation 1 from exterior side. Abovementioned handling of the self-supporting panel with the only difference in the fact that the second, exterior layer of heat insulation 1 is made from polystyrene plate without supporting frame with m illed or during the process of production of heat insulation sealed- concealed tube arrangement 2 of the distribution of heat transitioning medium is illustrated in Fig. 18.2.
Tube arrangement 2 of the distribution of the heat transitioning liquid medium can be arranged even on inside walls of peripheral structures A1 and A2 in alternative realizations.
Utilization in the industry
The construction of self-supporting heat insulating panel for the systems with active regulation of heat transition according to technological handling finds its utility in building industry.
