The invention relates to a device for supplying a flushing medium to the tool of a hammer drill, in particular to a tool of a tap-hole drilling machine on a blast furnace, consisting substantially of a housing (3), a drilling tool holding means (1) which in said housing can be displaced axially into an advanced position and a retracted position and has a central cavity and at least one supply channel (11) for the flushing medium, a transmission part (2) which interacts with the holding means (1) for an intermittently and optionally rotating drive, and a supply means (4) as well as a holding part (5) having a flushing medium inlet (51), characterised in that a substantially axially symmetrically shaped supply means (4) and the associated holding part (5) form a preferably non-detachably connected component, wherein the supply means (4) distally on each of the two sides has sliding bearings (41, 41'), in particular guide strips and seals (42, 42'), towards the drilling tool holding means (1), and the holding part (5) is displaceable, radially within limits when bent, relative to the housing (3) and/or a fixing ring (31) connected thereto, but is fixed in a tangentially form-fitting manner.
  2. The device according to claim 1, characterised in that the radially displaceable component, formed of a supply means (4) for the flushing medium and a holding part (5), is positioned axially adjacent to the bearing bush (6) and fixed by means of a spacer element (61), and after the fixing ring (31) has been released from the housing (3), the component (4, 5) comprising the supply means (4) together with the guide strips (41, 41') and seals (42, 42') and the bearing bushing (6) with the spacer element (61) can be removed from said housing.
