Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de désinfection de mains courantes (1) comprenant au moins un boîtier (2) et au moins trois sources de rayonnement (3) qui émettent un rayonnement électromagnétique ayant une longueur d'onde de 220 nm à 280 nm, en particulier de 240 nm à 250 nm. Le boîtier (2) présente un côté entrée (5) et un côté sortie (6) opposé au côté entrée (5) pour une main courante (4). Ces trois sources de rayonnement (3) dans le boîtier (2) sont disposées entre le côté entrée (5) et le côté sortie (6) de manière à pouvoir irradier la main courante (4) à partir d'au moins deux directions pratiquement orthogonales l'une à l'autre. La main courante (4) peut être débarrassée en continu d'agents pathogènes par le dispositif de désinfection de mains courantes (1) selon l'invention pendant le fonctionnement d'un escalier mécanique, ce qui permet d'éviter la propagation de maladies.
