Etat de la technique State of the art
Many tools exist in descender blockers but they do not work on tensioned ropes. They require slack to pass the rope in the systems and slack to control braking downhill.
Many tools on rope tensioners exist but they do not offer the possibility of braking a descent or to move from the blocking position to the down position instantly energized.
The existing tool EP 1 329 242 A1 offers these possibilities but without dosage depending on the type and the rope texture used.
Objet de l'invention Object of the invention
The invention aims to remedy the following three problems:
- offrir la fonction descendeur sur filins tendus - offer the descender function on tensioned ropes
- offrir la fonction bloqueur sur filins tendus. - offer the blocking function on tensioned ropes.
- offrir un dosage précis pour la fonction descendeur selon les diamètres et les textures de filins - offer precise dosing for the descending function according to the diameters and textures of the ropes
Dessins The tool responds to these problems by the wedging of the rope stretched between the two flat and looking surfaces of the sheaves. The point of attachment of the user is almost in the axis of passage of the stretched rope thus defined. Progressive smooth release from the blocking function to the descending function thanks to the extendable handle, which is symmetrical on the opposite side of the attachment point, depends on the diameters and the roughness of the ropes by the positioning of carabiners. or moving axes in the holes placed at the edge of the sheaves and the passage of the rope. This results in four possible braking configurations that must be determined by testing each rope. drawings
By convention and respecting the direction of installation on the rope, the side of the point of attachment will be called high and the extendable handle side (see drawings).
Figure 1 shows a left view in the open position showing the establishment of the rope in the tool.
Figure 2 shows a view of the back of the tool.
Figure 3 shows four profile sections in the closed position and in tension with the four possible braking positions.
Description de l'invention Description of the invention
In these figures, the choke descender on tensioned rope consists of a first so-called fixed cheek 1 enlarged by an extensible maneuvering handle 1 1, and a second mobile cheek 2 mirrored in the closed position of the cheek 1 (without the handle). They are drilled at 9 and 10 at the top opposite the handle 1 1 to form the point of attachment of the operator. A tubular spacer 14 keeps the cheeks to traction, without torsion stress.
The longitudinal axis 16 of the tool is approximately in the middle of the tool and places the fixing holes 9 and 10 and the handle 1 1 on either side of this axis.
The so-called fixed cheek 1 has on either side of the axis 16 and substantially equidistant from the operating handle 1 1 and the perforations 9 and 10, two friction surfaces 1 8 and 19 "cut" in sheaves 3 and 4. These sheaves 3 and 4 are fixed on this cheek 1 by a blind bolt 12 for the 4 and a bolt 1 3 with shoulder nut for the 3 which also serves as a fixing point and axis of rotation of the mobile cheek 2.
The thickness of the sheaves 3 and 4 (drawing 2) provides a substantially wider passage than the line 1 7 between the cheeks 1 and 2.
The line 1 7 passes in a straight line from top to bottom along the axis 1 6 by touching the friction surfaces 1 8 and 19, and the holes 9 and 10 and the tube 14, and the handle 1 1.
Enfin et ce qui constitue l'invention : Finally and what constitutes the invention:
deux percements 5 et 6 en miroir sur les joues et jouxtant le réa 3 en haut et de l 'autre côté de l'axe 16 par rapport au point d'attache (9, 10, 14), offrent un point de friction supplémentaire (axe mobile ou mousqueton 22). two mirrored holes 5 and 6 on the cheeks and adjoining the sheave 3 at the top and on the other side of the axis 16 with respect to the point of attachment (9, 10, 14), offer an additional point of friction ( movable axis or carabiner 22).
deux percements 7 et 8 en miroir sur les joues et jouxtant le réa 4 en bas et de l'autre côté de l'axe 16 par rapport à la poignée 1 1 , offrent un deuxième point de friction supplémentaire (axe mobile ou mousqueton 21 ). two holes 7 and 8 mirrored on the cheeks and adjacent the sheave 4 at the bottom and the other side of the axis 16 relative to the handle January 1, offer a second additional friction point (movable axis or carabiner 21) .
La poignée de manœuvre est extensible. The handle is extensible.
The device according to the invention is summarized by a variable lever action between the surfaces and points of friction, and the rope, as well as by the possible dosage thanks to the expandable handle. The operator presents the open tool (drawing 1) so as to place the rope 17 along the axis 16 between the surfaces and friction points. He can then close the tool on the rope by rotating the cheek 2 to the mirror position and striking a carabiner 20 in the holes 9 and 10.
The usual use of the tool is that by weighing in the carabiner 20, it forces the rope until the locking of the tool, which would unlock by pulling on the handle opposite. Three additional solutions to choose from are available to the operator by presenting the different friction points by setting up moving axes or carabiners in the 7-8 and / or 5-6 holes:
Position 2: a point of friction shifted down to 7-8.
Position 3: two friction points offset at the top 5-6 and at the bottom 7-8.
Position 4 : un point décalé en haut 5-6. Position 4: a staggered point at the top 5-6.
Variantes : An even finer dosage is allowed by an expandable handle. Variations:
We can consider other holes on the cheeks for other points of friction.
The same tool can be developed "in duplicate" namely that the fixed cheek would serve as a mirror to provide a second pair of sheaves and a second mobile cheek, so as to use the tool on two lines.
We can also consider the passage of two finer threads in the simple tool.
One can consider the tool without handle of descent for a blocking function only.
All dimensions must be in proportion to the diameters of the ropes.
The tool functions as a down-braking device if the rope tension is released.
