Claims (14)

  1. Foldable and transportable device (1) for maintaining the sitting posture, comprising:

    - the rigid backrest (2) comprising at least one rigidity-reinforcing component (22) for said backrest (2), which component has a rigidity greater than the rigidity of the basic accessory (14), so as to keep the backrest (2) in shape;
    - at least one orthopaedic support piece (8) adapted to support and hold a part of a user's body;
    - means (18) for fixing each orthopaedic support piece (8) onto the basic accessory (14), the said fixing means (18) being adapted to allow the orthopaedic support piece (8) to be added, while adjusting its position, onto the basic accessory (14);
    wherein each reinforcing component (22) for the backrest (2) is formed from at least one reinforcing plate having a rigidity greater than the rigidity of the basic accessory (14), each reinforcing plate extending inside an envelope (15) formed in the backrest (2), and bringing about the shaping of said backrest (2);
    characterised in that the reinforcing component (22) for the backrest (2) is mounted in a detachable manner in relation to the basic accessory (14) and is adapted to be capable of being taken out prior to the folding-up of the device (1) with a view to transporting it.
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the rigid seat (3) comprises at least one rigidity-reinforcing component (21) for the seat (3), which component has a rigidity greater than the rigidity of the basic accessory (14), so as to keep the seat (3) in shape.
  3. Device according to Claim 2, characterised in that each reinforcing component (21) for the seat (3) is formed from at least one reinforcing plate having a rigidity greater than the rigidity of the basic accessory (14), each reinforcing plate extending inside an envelope (7) formed in the seat (3), and bringing about the shaping of said seat (3).
  4. Device according to Claim 3, characterised in that the reinforcing component (21) for the seat (3) is mounted in a detachable manner in relation to the basic accessory (14) and is adapted to be capable of being taken out prior to the folding-up of the device (1) with a view to transporting it.
  5. Device according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that each reinforcing plate for the seat (3) and/or for the backrest (2) is substantially flat in shape.
  6. Device according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that at least one of the rigidity-reinforcing components (21, 22) for the seat (3) and/or for the backrest (2) comprises at least one gas-tight inflatable pocket which is adapted to be capable of containing a quantity of pressurised gas, the said gas-tight pocket being equipped with means for inflating/deflating each inflatable pocket.
  7. Device according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the means (18) for fixing each orthopaedic support piece (8) onto the basic accessory (14) comprise at least one reversible self-gripping device comprising complementary reversible-fixing components which are fixed onto the basic accessory (14) and onto each orthopaedic support piece (8), respectively.
  8. Device according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterised in that it comprises at least one component, referred to as a holding component (9) for adjusting the opening/closing of the said backrest (2) and of the said seat (3) in rotation, in relation to the link (4) forming a hinge.
  9. Device according to one of Claims 1 to 8, characterised in that it comprises at least one gripping handle (12) which makes it possible to transport the device (1).
  10. Device according to one of Claims 1 to 9, characterised in that it comprises a seat cushion (16) formed from at least one synthetic foam, the said seat cushion (16) being adapted to be capable of being placed on the seat (3) and forming an ischiatic basin.
  11. Device according to one of Claims 1 to 10, characterised in that each orthopaedic support piece (8) is formed from a material chosen from the group formed from hypoallergenic, gas-permeable and liquid-impermeable materials.
  12. Chair (10) equipped with a foldable and transportable device (1) for maintaining the sitting posture according to one of Claims 1 to 11.
  13. Use of a foldable and transportable device (1) for maintaining the sitting posture according to one of Claims 1 to 11, with a view to optimising and/or correcting a user's posture.
  14. Kit for producing a device (1) for maintaining the sitting posture comprising:
    - a basic accessory (14) comprising:
    • a seat (3) - in particular provided with at least one rigidity-reinforcing component (21) - and;
    • a backrest (2) provided with at least one rigidity-reinforcing component (22), and;
    • a link (4) forming a hinge connecting the said seat (3) and the said backrest (2) in the extension of one another,
    - at least one orthopaedic support piece (8) which is of predetermined shape and is adapted to support and hold a part of a user's body;
    - means (18) for fixing each orthopaedic support piece (8) onto the basic accessory (14), the said fixing means (18) being adapted to allow each orthopaedic support piece (8) to be added, while adjusting its position, onto the basic accessory (14);
    wherein the reinforcing component (22) for the backrest (2) is formed from at least one reinforcing plate having a rigidity greater than the rigidity of the basic accessory (14), each reinforcing plate extending inside an envelope (15) formed in the backrest (2), and bringing about the shaping of said backrest (2);
    - the said reinforcing component (22) for the backrest (2) is mounted in a detachable manner in relation to the basic accessory (14) and is adapted to be capable of being taken out prior to the folding-up of the device (1) with a view to transporting it.
