Definitions

  • the present invention relates to the technical sector of modular structures, including tent type or tent, generally used to form shelters.
  • the modular structures concerned generally comprise vertical posts joined together by cross members to form a gantry.
  • two gantries as mentioned above are generally used, which are secured to each other by means of failures. These failures are therefore connected in a solid and removable manner to the gantries so as to form overall a stable modular structure.
  • This modular structure is preferably covered by a fabric, or by metal panels to form a shelter.
  • the purlins used to mount a modular structure comprise at one end a hook member for cooperating with a member arranged on the frames. Said member being able to receive the hook element.
  • the purlins comprise a protruding element adapted to engage in a receiving slot or other arrangement provided on the frames.
  • the gantries are previously mounted and held in a vertical position opposite each other. These gantries are arranged parallel to each other and are spaced a distance equal to the length of the purlins. The breakdowns are then raised by the editor by means of a bar being specified that the height of the porticoes can reach three meters. The assembler thus engages in the first place the hook of the fault in the member receiving the hook arranged on the gantry. Then it engages the other end of the fault in the arrangement provided on the other gantry.
  • Hook fixing decreases the stability of the assembly and requires a lot of precision to cooperate the fasteners with a bar and at arm's length of the editor.
  • the elements being of simple construction, they often break during the mounting operation.
  • This document describes a modular structure for shelter and the like comprising an aluminum support profile provided with housings all around the perimeter in order to fix profiles or intermediate parts.
  • One of the intermediate pieces consist in a receptacle piece which is fixed in one of the housing of the carrier profile and which comprises a housing adapted to receive a cylinder secured to the free end of a failure, said cylinder extending perpendicularly. to the longitudinal axis of the fault protruding from both sides of the latter.
  • This type of solution also has the disadvantage of requiring a high accuracy during assembly to introduce the cylindrical element in the housing of the intermediate piece, said assembly being long tedious because requiring the same way as the hook systems of the prior art an assembly of failures on gantries erected vertically.
  • this modular structure comprises a set of gantries, purlins and devices for attaching faults to said gantries, different from what may exist in the prior art.
  • the set of failures and the attachment devices of said failures are made so that they greatly facilitate the mounting operation of the modular structure and are strong enough to eliminate the risk of breakage during assembly.
  • the object of the present invention is thus to provide a modular structure that overcomes the disadvantages mentioned above by having an advantageous use compared to the solutions proposed by the prior art.
  • a modular structure, of the marquee or tent type comprising at least two gantries each consisting of vertical posts secured by cross members, the gantries being secured to one another by at least one horizontal failure, the tip being provided, at each of its ends, with a male or female part cooperating respectively with a complementary female or male part provided on each gantry;
  • said structure is remarkable in that the male part comprises a cylindrical element (6a) arranged between two elements projecting from the tip and adapted to cooperate with the female part consisting of a profiled piece comprising at least one tube intended to receive the element cylindrical of the failure, and in that, at a first end of the failure, the cylindrical member has an outer diameter substantially equal to the inner diameter of the tube and, at the opposite end of the failure, the cylindrical member has a outer diameter less than the inner diameter of said tube of the female part.
  • the female part comprises a means for guiding the male part to a so-called insertion ramp promoting the introduction of the male part into the female part or vice versa.
  • the male part comprises means for guiding it, with respect to the vertical axis, for insertion into the female part of said guiding means cooperating with the female part.
  • said elements protruding from the fault form the guide means relative to the vertical axis.
  • the two elements protruding from the failure are the two cheeks of a U-shaped member attached to each end of the fault.
  • Said failure comprises at least an upper portion, a lower portion, and two inclined transverse edges, said lower portion being shorter in length than the upper portion so that the transverse edges are inclined from the top to the bottom of the tip and form under the upper part of the failure a recess in which the U-shaped member is arranged in the extension of the lower part without protruding from the upper part.
  • the female part is in the form of a profiled piece comprising at least one tube intended to receive the male part of the purlin and having a longitudinal slot at its upper part, the width of the slot being smaller that the internal diameter of the tube and the outer diameter of the cylindrical element forming the male part so as to achieve the latching of the male part in said tube by elastic deformation of the wall of the tube.
  • Said female part comprises a first branch extending from the proximal edge, with respect to the gantry, of the tube of the female part, and comprising a first inclined part and a second part coming to bear on said frame, the first and second parts of the first branch forming the so-called insertion ramp.
  • Said female part also comprises a second branch extending from the lower part of the tube substantially symmetrically to the first branch with respect to a plane of symmetry passing through the longitudinal axis of said tube, said second branch comprising a first inclined portion and a second part taking support on the portico.
  • the second part of the first and / or second branch, bearing on the gantry includes holes for fixing the female part on the gantry.
  • the female part comprises a third curved branch extending upwards from the distal edge, with respect to the gantry of the tube of the female part, and whose concavity is oriented towards the slot of the tube, said third branch being curved forming the guide means of the male part to the so-called insertion ramp.
  • the radius of curvature of the third curved branch is advantageously greater than the radius of curvature of the inner wall of the tube and increases from its base, at the level of the slot, to its free end, in order to progressively guide the part male to the so-called insertion ramp.
  • the cylindrical element consists of an axis capped by a socket, said sleeve having an internal diameter substantially equal to the outer diameter of the axis and an outer diameter substantially equal to the inner diameter of the tube.
  • the modular structure (1) comprises in a known manner, vertical posts (2), secured to each other by crosspieces (3).
  • the vertical poles assembly (2) and sleepers (3) form a gantry (4).
  • a simplified modular structure (1) generally comprises two gantries (4). These gantries (4) are arranged parallel to one another and are spaced from the length of the purlins (5).
  • the purlins (5) are used to make the frames (4) integral with each other to thereby form the modular structure (1).
  • the modular structure generally comprises as a roof (not shown), a canvas stretched over its roof portion or metal panels.
  • the sleepers (3) are fixed to the vertical posts (2) by conventional fastening systems known to those skilled in the art, such as screws and bolts for example. These fastening systems are not the subject of the invention and it may be envisaged to use any other means performing this same function.
  • a failure (5) is an elongated hollow member comprising lateral edges (5a), transverse edges (5b), a lower portion (5c) and an upper portion (5d).
  • the lower part (5c) being of shorter length than the upper part (5d) so that the transverse edges (5b) are inclined from the upper part (5d) to the lower part (5c) of the purlin (5) and form under the upper part (5d) of the fault (5) a recess.
  • This particular form of tip (5) with beveled edges is particularly suitable for forming the ridge and sill failures of the modular structure (1); the other faults (5) extending between the ridge and sand pit purlins may possibly consist of parallelepipedic faults. Indeed, at the level of faults ridge and sand pit, it is advantageous to limit the space between the end of the tip (5) with the gantry to avoid wear, see even the tear of the fabric forming the roof when powering said web.
  • purlins (5) with beveled edges may be obtained by beveling the free ends of a parallelepipedal failure intended to extend between the ridge and sand pit purlins.
  • the purlins (5) with beveled edges may consist of parallelepipedic faults with free ends of which beveled parts are reported by any suitable means well known to those skilled in the art such as welding beads, rivets, etc. .
  • the purlins (5) are used to secure the gantries (4) to each other. In this way, a failure (5) is provided at each of its ends, a male portion (6) adapted to cooperate with a female portion (7) arranged on the frame (4).
  • the male portion (6) of the tip (5) comprises a cylindrical member (6a) and a U-shaped member (6b).
  • the U-shaped member (6b) is arranged inside the tip (5), in the extension of the lower part (5c) without protruding from the upper part (5d).
  • the U-shaped member (6b) comprises holes (8) on the two branches of the U, the holes (8) being able to come into contact with complementary holes (8a) formed on the lateral edges (5a) of the breakdown (5). These holes (8, 8a) are intended to receive fastening elements such as screws with bolts or rivets, or any other means performing the fastening function of the U-shaped member (6b) on the end of the breakdown (5).
  • the two branches of the U-shaped member (6b) protruding form two cheeks (6c) parallel receiving between them, at their free end, the cylindrical member (6a).
  • the female part (7), receiving the male part (6) is arranged on the gantry (4).
  • the female part (7) is in the form of a profiled piece (9) comprising a tube (10) intended to receive the male part (6) of the tip (5).
  • the tube (10) has for this purpose a longitudinal slot (11) at its upper part. The width of the slot (11) is smaller than the internal diameter of the tube (10).
  • the female part (7) comprises a first branch (12) extending from the proximal edge, with respect to the gantry (4), of the tube (10) of the female part (7), and comprising a first inclined part (12a ) and a second part bearing (12b) on said gantry (4), the first and second parts (12a, 12b) of the first leg (12) forming the so-called insertion ramp (13).
  • the insertion ramp (13) thus formed makes it possible to guide the cylindrical element (6a) until it is snapped into the tube (10) of the female part (7). This also facilitates the mounting operation of such a modular structure (1).
  • the female part (7) comprises a second branch (14) extending from the lower part of the tube (10) substantially symmetrically to the first branch (12) with respect to a plane of symmetry passing through the longitudinal axis of said tube ( 10).
  • This second branch (14) comprises a first inclined portion (14a) and a second portion bearing (14b) on the gantry (4).
  • the second portion (12b, 14b) of the first and / or second limb (12, 14) bearing on the gantry (4) comprises holes for fixing the female part (7) to the gantry (4).
  • Said fixing means used may consist of any means well known to those skilled in the art performing this function, such as screws with bolts or rivets for example.
  • the female part (7) has a third curved branch (15) extending upwards from the distal edge, with respect to the gantry (4), of the tube (10) of the female part (7), and whose concavity is oriented towards the slot (11) of the tube (10).
  • Said third curved limb (15) makes it possible to guide the male part (6) to the so-called insertion ramp (13). This further facilitates the mounting operation of such a modular structure (1).
  • the radius of curvature of the third curved limb (15) is greater than the radius of curvature of the inner wall of the tube (10) and increases from its base, at the slot (11), to its free end.
  • the purlins (5) forming the ridge and sill failures of the modular structure comprise, at a first end, a cylindrical element (6a) consisting of an axis (6d) whose external diameter is substantially equal to the internal diameter of the tube (10) and, at its opposite end, a cylindrical element (6a) consisting of an axis (6c) whose outer diameter is smaller, on the one hand, than the internal diameter of the tube (10) and on the other hand to the width of the slot (11) of the female part (7).
