Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Füllstandsüberwachung bei einem Staubsauger (1), wobei im Betrieb Daten für einen vom Antriebsaggregat des Staubsaugers (1) erzeugten Unterdruck und Volumenstrom aufgenommen werden, wobei in einem Speicher (30) Daten (32) für volumenstromabhängige Kennlinien (20, 21) abgelegt sind, wobei zumindest anhand des tatsächlichen Volumenstroms ein Arbeitspunkt (26) auf einer Kennlinie (20,21) und ein mit dem Arbeitspunkt (26) auf der Kennlinie (20,21) verknüpfter Unterdruck ermittelt werden und mit dem tatsächlichen Unterdruck und dem Wert für den Unterdruck anhand der Kennlinie (20, 21) ein momentaner Füllstand des Staubsaugers (1) ermittelt wird und/oder wobei anhand des tatsächlichen Volumenstroms und Unterdrucks ein aktueller Arbeitspunkt (24) ermittelt und zu der oder den Kennlinien (20, 21) so in Beziehung gesetzt wird, dass aus der oder den Kennlinien (20, 21) zumindest eine zu diesem am besten passende ausgewählt wird und sich der momentane Füllstand des Staubsaugers (1) anhand der ausgewählten Kennlinie(n) (20, 21) und einer Füllstandssituation, für welche diese ursprünglich aufgenommen wurde, ergibt.
