Definitions
- the present invention relates to the field of roll mills. It relates to an arrangement for a roller mill with two counter-rotating rollers, which are rotatably mounted in a frame.
- Roll mills are used for grinding materials, in particular ores and cement. They are particularly energy efficient compared to other mill types.
- a roller mill comprises two counter-rotating rollers 1, which are rotatably mounted horizontally in a frame. One of the two rollers is fixed in the radial direction and another of the two rollers is pressed by a spring system on the fixed roller. Each roller has a grinding surface. The opposite grinding surfaces of the rollers form a wedge. Material is filled from above between the rollers in the wedge, guided by the rotation of the rollers down and crushed by the wedge. The rotation of the rollers takes place via a drive.
- Fig. 2 shows a roll mill with two indirect drives. Each drive has a motor 11, a propeller shaft 12 and a planetary gear thirteenth
- DD 134921 describes a roller mill with a motor, a clutch and a transmission.
- the use of a clutch and a gearbox leads to a loss of performance, wear and a limitation of the maximum transferable power, which today is about 5 to 7 megawatts, as surface pressures on gear wheels in the transmission reach material limits.
- Object of the present invention is to provide a drive with a reduced power loss available.
- the invention is that the drive comprises a rotor with poles and a rotor arranged radially opposite the stator with stator windings for generating an electric field acting on the poles, wherein the rotor is connected directly to the roller.
- the direct connection between the rotor and the roller has no gear and no relative movement between the rotor and the roller. That is, the motion is transmitted without moving mechanical parts, such as gears.
- a first preferred embodiment relates to an assembly comprising a roller having a hollow portion, a rotor concentrically disposed within the fetch portion, and a stator concentrically disposed within the rotor.
- the hollow portion for example, a front-flanged hollow cylinder and is not necessarily part of the grinding surface of the roller. This allows a compact design in the radial and axial directions.
- a further advantageous embodiment relates to an arrangement in which the rotor is arranged on the outside on a portion of the roller not belonging to the grinding surface, and the stator is arranged externally around the rotor is.
- the portion with the rotor can be offset both axially and radially to the grinding surface. This allows a compact design in the axial direction.
- a further advantageous embodiment relates to a direct connection of the poles of the rotor with the roller.
- the direct connection between the poles and the roller takes place without an additional element, which connects the poles with each other. This allows a reduction in the number of individual parts.
- a further advantageous embodiment relates to a rotor which comprises a rotor ring.
- the poles are connected to the rotor ring and thereby positioned against each other. This allows fast mounting of the poles with the roller.
- a further advantageous embodiment relates to permanent magnets as poles of the rotor. This can be dispensed with a current transfer from a foreign excitation to the rotor by a sliding contact.
- a further advantageous embodiment relates to an additional Torsionsübertragungselement, which is connected to the rotor and the roller over different diameters and transmits the torsion of the drive to the roller. This allows a construction in which a diameter of the drive is independent of a diameter of the roller in the connecting region.
- Fig. 3 shows an axial section of two rollers 1, which are rotatably mounted at their ends by means of two bearings 2 and arranged parallel to each other.
- One of the rollers 1 is cylindrical.
- the other roller 1 is hollow cylindrical.
- the drive of the hollow cylindrical roller 1 is arranged within the hollow cylinder 3 at one end of the hollow cylinder 3.
- poles 5 are connected directly to the hollow cylinder-shaped roller 1 so that a part of the hollow cylinder 3 connected to the poles 5 forms a rotor 4 together with the poles 5.
- a stator 6 is arranged concentrically.
- the stator 6 has a holder 8 and connected to the holder 8 stator windings 7, which are arranged outside the holder 8 around.
- Fig. 4 shows a radial plan view of the hollow cylindrical roller 1 from Fig. 3 ,
- the holder 8 of the stator 6 is connected outside the roller 1 to a foundation and thus positions the stator 6 relative to the rotor 4.
- a drive of the cylindrical roller 1 is not shown.
- This drive can be connected directly, or indirectly via movable mechanical parts, with the roller 1.
- the shape of the rollers 1 need not be cylindrical or hollow cylindrical. There are also frustoconical rollers possible.
- the bearings 2 do not need to be positioned at the ends but can also be distributed over the length of the roller.
- At the end of the roller 1 on which the drive is arranged can be dispensed with a bearing 2, since an electric field between the rotor 4 and the stator 6, the roller 1 leads.
- the position of the drive does not have to be at one end. Any arrangement along the roll axis is possible.
- Fig. 5 shows an axial section of two cylindrical rollers 1.
- the drives of the rollers 1 are arranged outside around the respective roller 1 at opposite ends.
- An annular stator 6 is arranged outside around the rotor 4 and has a radially outer holder 8 and connected to the holder 8, radially inner stator windings 7.
- Fig. 6 shows a radial plan view of the cylindrical roller 1 from Fig. 5 .
- the annular support 8 of the stator 6 is connected to a foundation and thus positions the stator 6 relative to the rotor 4.
- the holder 8 of the stator 6 need not be annular. There are also other constructions such as a rod framework possible, which can accommodate the forces acting on the stator 6 forces.
- Fig. 7 shows an axial section of two cylindrical rollers 1, each having a hollow cylindrical portion at one end.
- the drives of the rollers 1 are each disposed within the hollow cylindrical portion at an open end of the hollow cylinder 3.
- poles 5 are connected directly to the hollow cylinder-shaped roller 1 so that a part of the hollow cylinder 3 connected to the poles 5 forms a rotor 4 together with the poles 5.
- a stator 6 is arranged concentrically.
- the stator 6 has a holder 8 and stator windings 7 connected to the holder 8, which are arranged externally around the holder 8.
- the drive-side bearing 2 is located within the hollow cylindrical portion and is axially between the cylindrical portion For example, the roller 1 and the stator 6 are positioned by connection with the stator holder 8.
- Fig. 8 shows an axial section of two hollow cylindrical rollers 1, each having a concentric, disposed within the hollow cylinder 3 cylinder.
- the drives of the rollers 1 are each arranged outside around the cylinder.
- An annular stator 6 is located between an inner circumferential surface of the hollow cylinder 3 and an outer circumferential surface of the cylinder and is arranged outside around the rotor 4 and has a radially outer holder 8 and connected to the holder 8, radially inner stator windings 7.

Description

-
Fig. 5 zeigt einen axialen Schnitt zweier zylinderförmiger Walzen 1.
