Dies ist in vielen Fällen nicht erwünscht, beispielsweise wenn der das Schloss aufweisende Flügel der Türe nur in bestimmten Zeitabschnitten mittels des Riegels verschlossen werden soll, die restliche Zeit jedoch durch eine sogenannte Tagesschaltung des Schließblecheinsatzes der Falle lediglich am Rahmen festgelegt werden soll und dadurch ohne Schlüssel oder Drückerbetätigung öffnenbar ist. Die Verriegelung mittels des Riegels ist in diesem Fall nicht erwünscht. An den U-förmigen Abschnitt schließt sich ein gerader gestreckter Abschnitt 14 an, der in einem Freiraum zwischen Führungsstück 3 und Stulpschiene 1 liegt. In einem bodenoffenen Fenster des Führungsstücks 3 ist ein längs des Führungsstücks 3 verschieblich gelagerter Schieber 15 vorgesehen, den der Schwenkarm 9 in einer Öffnung 16 durchgreift. Infolge dessen untergreift der Schieber 15 den Schwenkarm 9 mit einem Betätigungsabschnitt 17, der in der dargestellten Auslegung des Schwenkarms 9 im Bereich einer S-förmigen flachen Abkröpfung 18 des Schwenkarms 9 liegt. Dabei untergreift der Betätigungsabschnitt 17 den Schwenkhebel 9 im Bereich des Abschnitts 14, der gegenüber dem der Abkröpfung 18 anschließenden Abschnitts 19 in Richtung der Stulpschiene 1 aufwärts gekröpft ist. Dabei verlaufen die Abschnitte 14, 19 antiparallel und in einem spitzen Winkel zueinander. Der Abschnitt 19 ist gerade ausgeführt und endet in einem abgewinkelten Ende 20.

Selbstverriegelndes Schloss mit einem in Längsrichtung des Schlosses mittels eines Drückers oder eines Schlüssels entgegen einer Kraft verschieblichen, einen Riegel steuernden Schieber oder Treibstange (2) und einem den Schieber oder die Treibstange (2) bei rückgeschlossenem Riegel arretierenden federbelasteten Steuerteil, welches beim Schließen der Tür unter Aufhebung der Arretierung des Schiebers bzw. der Treibstange (2) den Riegelvorschluß freigibt, wobei das Schloss eine bei vorgeschlossenem Riegel vom Schieber bzw.
