Abstract

The sole (10) has a predetermined ball line (37) that is extended from an inner ball point to an outer ball point. A ball rocker is displaced rearwards towards a heel end (26) in relation to the ball line around a central ball rocker spacing. Description

The invention relates to a sole for a shoe, in particular running shoe according to claim 1, and a shoe, in particular running shoe according to claim 10.

Running shoes, which are adapted to the particular needs of a runner, are known in the art, with the example of the DE 20 2005 013 798 U1 is referenced. In such running shoes, the ball of the foot is arranged centrally above a rolling or tipping line of an underside of the sole (ball roller). The roll-off or tipping line determines at what point in time the current one lifts. Overall, the running shoes mentioned in the prior art are perceived as unsatisfactory especially in ergonomic terms.

It is therefore the object of the present invention to propose a sole for a shoe, in particular a running shoe or a shoe, in particular a running shoe, which leads to improved ergonomics during running.

This object is achieved by a sole for a shoe, in particular running shoe according to claim 1 and a shoe, in particular running shoe according to claim 10.

A core idea of the invention is to offset the unwinding or tipping line relative to the ball of the foot. This has the consequence that the shoe rolls off the bale while running. This reduces the rolling resistance and thus improves the ergonomics. The bale line determines the bale position and is an imaginary line between the bale of the big and small toe (or between an inner and an outer bale). The ball line is thus determined on the basis of predetermined proportions of an individual foot or of an average foot that forms the basis of the shoe. Each shoe thus has a clearly defined bale line, which can be determined with customary measurements. For example, the bale line may divide a sole length into 37% forefoot length and 63% hind foot length.

According to an independent aspect, the above object is achieved by a sole for a shoe, in particular a running shoe, comprising a tarsal area and a metatarsal zone, wherein the tarsal area is softer on an inner tarsal area edge portion than on an outer tarsal area edge portion and / or wherein the midfoot region is formed harder on an inner metatarsal edge portion on average than on an outer metatarsal edge portion. Here and below, the terms "inside" and "inner" mean that the referenced element in use of a pair of shoes facing the other shoe. Accordingly, "outside" or "outside" is intended to mean that the referenced element in the use of the shoe pair is the other shoe further. By "hardness", the mechanical resistance can be understood that opposes the material of one edge portion of a test specimen of the material of the other edge portion. The hardness can be measured, for example, according to Mohs, Martens or Brinell.

According to an even more general idea, the inner tarsal region edge portion may be configured to average on placement the foot sets this a lesser resistance than the outer tarsal area edge portion. Likewise, the inner midfoot portion edge portion may be formed to oppose, on average, greater resistance than the outer midfoot portion edge portion. This can be achieved for example by a different bulge or profiling, in particular tread depth.

In any case, such an adjustment of the mechanical resistance of the outsole allows a particularly ergonomic running. In particular, the resistance curve of the sole follows the (natural) S-shaped rolling line of man. The first contact with the ground is on (slightly) supinated heel. While the entire foot has contact with the ground, the main load increasingly shifts to the metatarsophalangeal joint before the new step is initiated over the big toe. In general, so profile hardness and tread depth ergonomically adapted to the different requirements.

Especially in combination with the set-back bale roll a synergetic way of efficient and energy-saving walking is possible. It allows a natural rolling action with stable placement on the heel and rolling over the forefoot. Furthermore, the up and down as well as the stance phase is facilitated. Overall, lower fatigue of the feet are expected. As a result, the overall motion is improved and a healthy gait can be achieved.

The bale roll spacing may be at least 2 mm, preferably at least 3 mm, more preferably at least 5 mm, or at least 0.5%, preferably at least 1%, more preferably at least 1.5% of a sole length. A bale roll spacing of (approximately) 5 mm has proved particularly suitable. The ball roller spacing may be at most 10 mm, preferably at most 7 mm or at most 2.5%, preferably at most 1.7% of a sole length (along the longitudinal center axis).

The bale roller can (at least in certain areas) run at a predetermined oblique angle relative to a longitudinal center axis, in particular following the course of the bale. This can further improve the ergonomics while walking.

In preferred embodiments, the sole has a bowing of a forefoot area and / or an increased tip blasting of, for example, at least 10 mm, preferably at least 15 mm. In interaction, in particular with the set-back bale roller, a particularly energy-saving walking can thereby be made possible.

In a concrete embodiment, a midsole, in particular of ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) and / or polyurethane (PU) is provided. Also a bale roll of the midsole may be located in a predetermined midsole-bale roll spacing behind the bale line. The midsole-bale roll distance may coincide with or be defined by the ball-roll spacing of the (total) sole. By such a measure, the step division is further improved and facilitates the rolling of the foot. The (cushioning) material of the midsole, especially EVA or PU, can be adjusted harder or softer depending on the application.

Preferably, the sole comprises a pronation support in a foot arch area. This pronation support can also be formed from material (such as EVA or PU) which is harder than the midsole and can be designed with regard to its shape and hardness in order to stabilize the arch of the foot. This improves the stability and sure-footedness when walking.

In a specific embodiment, the sole has a forefoot cushioning element. A degree of firmness of the forefoot cushioning element may be adjusted such that the step design flows and is not interrupted. The shape and nature of the forefoot cushioning element can be adjusted in such a way that it is adapted to the foot anatomy or the natural appearance and relieves the pressure points. The forefoot cushioning element is preferably made of a harder material than the midsole or the other components of the midsole.

Furthermore, at least one heel cushioning element may be provided in a heel region whose material (for example, EVA or PU) is also preferably made harder than the material of the midsole. A torsion stabilizer may also be provided (also preferably from a harder material than the material of the midsole). The torsion stabilizer is provided in a midfoot area and serves as a midfoot bridge and increases the stability of the torsional movement (thus preventing the rotation of the forefoot to the heel during the rolling movement). The heel cushioning element (heel wedge) can be designed such that it absorbs the initial impact and initiates the rolling movement. This optimally protects the joints and optimizes the rolling motion. Overall, forefoot cushioning, heel cushioning and torsional stabilizer further enhance ergonomics while running.

Preferably, the sole comprises a heel bevel, wherein a front edge closer to the forefoot portion of the chamfer at its inner end (relative to the outer end) is set back back.

The above object is achieved independently by a shoe, in particular running shoe comprising a sole of the above type.

Fig. 1 shows a sole 10 for a running shoe in exploded view and a last 11 for the production thereof. The afford 11 comprises a recessed inguinal roll 12 and is characterized by a bend 13th and a comparatively high peak blasting 14 of, for example, at least 10 mm. The inguinal roll 12 defines (at least partially) the bale roll 38 of the sole 10 during manufacture (see also FIG Fig. 2 ). The bale roll of the sole 10 is after production about 5 mm behind the natural bale position.

The sole 10 comprises an insole 15, a midsole 16, a torsion stabilizer 17, a heel wedge 18 (heel cushion) and an outsole 19 (with a profiling). About the insole 15, the hardness and flexibility of the shoe can be at least partially adjusted, and thus the application of the shoe can be defined. Here, a gestrobelte embodiment with a comparatively soft (textile) insole provide a high degree of flexibility. In an alternative, the insole can also be glued on. A hard insole promotes stability while running.

In the midsole 16 a forefoot cushioning 20 and a pronation support 21 is integrated. Both the forefoot cushioning 20 and the pronation support 21 are made of a material that is harder than the other components of the midsole 16. A midsole bale roll 22 is also recessed to facilitate unrolling of the foot. The midsole bale roll is defined by a (bottom) crest line of the midsole (per se).

The pronation support 21 is arranged in an arch area 23 on an inner edge 24 of the midsole 16 and promotes a (moderate) pronation control or stabilization of the arch of the foot. In the present embodiment, the pronation support 21 is disposed within a longitudinal center axis 40 and the inner edge 24 of the midsole 16. The forefoot cushioning 20 is arranged in a forefoot region 25 of the midsole 16 and is (approximately) kidney-shaped in order to relieve the pressure points.

The sole 10 is subdivided below in two different ways: on the one hand into the forefoot area 25 and into the rear foot area 42. These two areas are separated by the ball line. On the other hand, the anatomy is subdivided into tarsal region 28, midfoot region 29 and toe region 30. The ball line 37 is located within the midfoot area 29.

The midsole 16 is arranged in the shoe below the insole 15. Below the midsole 16, the torsion stabilizer 17 and the heel wedge 18 (heel cushioning) are arranged. The heel wedge can absorb the onset of impact and initiate the rolling motion, so that the joints are better protected and the rolling motion is improved. The heel wedge 18 is wedge-shaped and widens in the direction of a heel end 26 of the sole 10. The torsion stabilizer 17 is provided in the arch region 23 and can reduce or prevent the rotation of the forefoot to the heel during a rolling movement. Below torsion stabilizer 17 and heel wedge 18, the outsole 19 is arranged. A profiling 27 (see also Fig. 2 ) is adapted to the natural gait pattern of humans and follows the S-shaped rolling line. The first contact with the ground may take place on (slightly) supinated heel. Also (not shown in the figures), the profile hardness and tread depth can be adapted to the different requirements.

In Fig. 2 is a view of the sole 10 shown from below. The outsole 19 is in this case subdivided into a tarsal region 28, a midfoot region 29 and a toe region 30. An inner metatarsal edge portion 31 is softer than an outer metatarsal edge portion 32. Further, an inner metatarsal edge portion 33 is harder than an outer metatarsal edge portion 34. An inner toe edge portion 35 is also harder than an outer toe portion. Edge section 36.

Furthermore, in Fig. 2 a bale line 37 is shown opposite to which a bale roll 38 is offset rearwardly by a bale roll spacing 41 as dictated by the ledge roll 12 and the midsole bale roll 22. The thus defined bale roll 38 is offset in the present example by 5 mm with respect to the ball line 37 towards the rear in the direction of the heel end 26.

The sole comprises a heel slope 44, wherein a border line 43, which lies closer to the forefoot region, is set back at its inner end.

The sole 10 may be constructed in the sense of a modular system. In particular, a set of multiple strips and / or insoles and / or midsoles and / or torsion stabilizers and / or heel wedges and / or outsoles. All elements in hardness, material design and shape can be adjusted individually and therefore the sole can be adapted to different requirements and functions. Thus, the use of the sole increases and important properties can be adjusted as needed.
