  • the pulses are applied to the patient's limbs. Application improves balance, also during thrust, and the effect lasts for 10 to 40 days, prevalently according to age and condition.
  • the instrument can be useful in pain therapy, in the same conditions, applying it also to the site of the pain for a longer time, usually between 2 min. and 2 hours, preferably between 4 min. and 30 min, more preferably between 5 min. and 15 min. It is particularly useful for alleviating pain in the cervical region, in the lumbar region and for treating osteoarthritis.

Claims (12)

  1. Un dispositif médical neurologique consistant en :
    des sources d'énergie, comprenant un émetteur, et
    un système de commande pour gérer lesdites sources d'énergie,
    dans lequel l'émetteur configuré pour appliquer simultanément différents types d'énergie (18, 19, 20) sur un patient comprend des transducteurs dans lesquels les énergies mises en oeuvre sont
    (i) une énergie lumineuse (18) à une longueur d'ondes comprise entre 500 et 700 nm,
    (ii) une énergie lumineuse (19) à une longueur d'ondes comprise entre 701 et 1050 nm,
    (iii) une énergie TENS (20) à une tension maximale de 240 V.
    sur lequel le système de commande est configuré pour régler la puissance, la fréquence et la durée de ces énergies,
    dans lequel l'émetteur est configuré pour émettre un rayonnement électromagnétique sous la forme d'impulsions ayant deux fréquences alternatives discrètes,
    dans lequel la première fréquence atteint 3 Hz et la seconde fréquence atteint 85 Hz, ou la première fréquence atteint 2 Hz et la seconde fréquence atteinte 100 Hz, ou la première fréquence atteint 1 Hz et la seconde fréquence atteint 180 Hz.
  2. Le dispositif médical neurologique selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les transducteurs (18,19) comprennent des émetteurs de lumière.
  3. Le dispositif médical neurologique selon la revendication 2, dans lequel les émetteurs de lumière sont des émetteurs de lumière à semi-conducteur ayant émission fixe de 2000 mcd.
  4. Le dispositif médical neurologique selon la revendication 3, dans lequel lesdits émetteurs sont disposés en trois groupes d'au moins deux émetteurs par groupe, afin qu'ils émettent de manière répétitive des impulsions respectivement toutes les 2, 4 et 8 secondes.
  5. Le dispositif médical neurologique selon l'une des revendications précédentes, dans lequel chaque impulsion a une durée comprise entre 50 et 1000 µs.
  6. Le dispositif médical neurologique selon la revendication 5, dans lequel chaque impulsion a une durée comprise entre 80 et 500 µs.
  7. Le dispositif médical neurologique selon la revendication 6, dans lequel chaque impulsion a une durée comprise entre 90 et 350 µs.
  8. Le dispositif médical neurologique selon l'une des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisé en ce que le rayonnement électromagnétique consiste en un courant électrique généré par des paires d'électrodes.
  9. Le dispositif médical neurologique selon la revendication 1, dans lequel la tension maximale atteint 200 V, générée par des paires d'électrodes.
  10. Le dispositif médical neurologique selon la revendication 1, dans lequel la tension maximale est comprise entre 50 et 85 V, générée par une paire d'électrodes.
  11. Le dispositif médical neurologique selon l'une des revendications précédentes, dans lequel les impulsions sont caractérisées par :
    un temps de marche (TeON) compris entre 0.01 et 1 ms,
    un temps d'arrêt (TeOFF) compris entre 1 et 10 ms et
    un temps de pause (Tp) compris entre 0.5 et 20 s.
  12. L'instrument selon l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le système de commande est un ordinateur sur lequel tourne un logiciel dédié.
