Description

The invention relates to a device for contacting receiving at least one cable core with the features of the preamble of claim 1. Such devices are used for connection and contacting of cable cores, in particular on printed circuit boards.

Stand der TechnikState of the art

Such a device is for example from the DE 20 2008 000 941 U1 known. In this device, a base module are provided as well as a cap element also referred to there as a core application cap. On the base module cutting clamps are provided, which serve the contacting of cable cores, which are each introduced into so-called core guide elements. The wire guide elements are then positioned in the wire application cap. The core-engaging cap and the basic module have latching elements which enable the connection of the wire-engaging cap and the basic module by latching. By locking the core application cap with the basic module, the contacting of the cable cores takes place by means of the insulation displacement terminals.
The problem with this device is that the cable cores must be positioned in each case in the specially provided vein guide elements and then these wire guide elements in for in the hood element specially provided openings must be introduced. This assembly is expensive, it requires a plurality of steps that are not easily accessible to automation.

From the US 5,549,484 goes out a device for contact receiving at least one cable core, which has a terminal and a hood element. A cable core is threaded into the hood element and the hood element is pushed together with the threaded cable core in the direction of the terminal, wherein the cable core is contacted with simultaneous production of electrical contacts by means of insulation displacement contacts which are attached to the terminal, and the hood element is held on the terminal , The threading of the cable core in the opening of the hood element requires complex steps that are not easily accessible to a fast and especially automatic production.

From the JP H06 38160 U goes out a device for contact receiving at least one cable core, are embedded in the insulation displacement contacts in a plastic housing part. This not only requires complicated manufacturing steps, also the stability is not given in such an embodiment. The locking elements of this device are part of the plastic part, in which the insulation displacement contacts are embedded. Apart from a complex production, which requires the embedding of the insulation displacement contacts in a plastic part, such training has only limited stability.

The invention has the object of developing a device of the type described above in such a way that the assembly and contacting of the cable cores is much easier and also an automated assembly is possible, the device should have a high stability.

Vorteile der ErfindungAdvantages of the invention

This object is achieved by a device for contacting receiving at least one cable core with the features of claim 1.

The device according to the invention has the advantage that the cable core can be inserted and positioned directly in the hood element. Immediately insertable and positionable means that it is not necessary to use, for example, wire guide elements or other, the cable core holding and positioning elements. Rather, the cable core is arranged directly in the hood element and this fixed by latching with the arranged on the support locking elements on the support, wherein the cutting terminals is a simultaneous contacting of the arranged in the hood element cable core.

The arrangement of arranged on the carrier first locking elements substantially offset by an angle of 90 ° to the successively aligned arranged insulation displacement contacts on a common base plate, the stability is substantially increased because the locking elements and the insulation displacement contacts are integrally connected. It is provided that the common base plate, the insulation displacement contacts and the first locking elements are parts of a single stamped part. This simplifies the automated production of the insulation displacement contacts and the locking elements. Furthermore, it is advantageous that a high stability of the entire arrangement and in particular the locking elements is given by the integral formation of the bottom plate, insulation displacement contacts and locking elements. The locking elements consist in this case of a metal part, whereby a risk of breakage is largely avoided, as is well known, for example, in the device known from the prior art, where the locking elements each consist of plastic.

The measures listed in the dependent claims advantageous refinements and improvements of the device specified in the independent claim are possible.

Thus, a very advantageous embodiment provides that the bottom plate is arranged and contacted by means of a soldered connection on a printed circuit board. In this way, at the same time the insulation displacement contacts and the locking elements are mounted in one operation on the circuit board and it is simultaneously made an electrical contact of the insulation displacement contacts with an arranged on the circuit board trace or the like.

Overall, it can be said that the formation of 90 ° to the insulation displacement contacts arranged locking elements, the integral formation of the locking elements, the insulation displacement contacts and the bottom plate and the attachment of the insulation displacement contacts together with the locking elements by means of the bottom plate results in a synergistic effect in terms a high stability, an excellent contact and in particular a robustness of the locking elements.

The hood element preferably has two aligned openings for receiving and guiding the at least one cable core, wherein the openings are preferably adapted to the outer shape of the cable core. Due to the aligned arrangement, the cable core can already be arranged and guided in a corresponding position in the hood element. In the hood element further detent openings are provided for the first locking elements.

A great advantage of the device according to the invention is the planar design of the hood element on its upper side, whereby a receiving area is formed for receiving a suction tube serving for automatic loading. In this way is an automatic positioning of the Hood element on the insulation displacement contacts and the locking elements possible.

For fast assembly also serves a orientation characterizing the shape of the hood element, which in particular has a direction marking chamfer on three sides. In this way, the hood member can be quickly placed in the correct position over the insulation displacement contacts. Incidentally, the openings also have openings of different sizes and shapes arranged on the upper side of the hood element for easy positioning.

A very advantageous embodiment provides that the hood element has a cable end protective, insulating and a conclusion forming cable stop.

Preferably, this cable stopper is integrally connected to the hood element.

The hood element is preferably made of a plastic, whereby electrical insulation is provided.

Ausführungsformen der ErfindungEmbodiments of the invention

A device for contact-receiving at least one cable core, shown in the disassembled state in Fig. 1 a and Fig. 1b , has two arranged on a support 50 insulation displacement contacts 101, 102. Each offset by 90 ° to the insulation displacement contacts 101, 102 are first locking elements 111, 112 are arranged. Again Fig. 1 a, the insulation displacement contacts 101, 102 and the locking elements 111, 112 together with a bottom plate 100 are part of a single stamped part. The bottom plate 100 is arranged on the carrier 50 by means of a solder connection 52. The carrier 50 may be, for example, a printed circuit board. The formation of the insulation displacement contacts 101, 102 and the first locking elements 111, 112 and the bottom plate 100 as a common stamped part allows a simple and quick production. In addition, latching elements 111, 112 in the form of metal parts are much more robust than, for example, latching elements in the form of plastic parts, as are known from the prior art. These insulation displacement contacts 101, 102 and latching elements 111, 112 are covered in the assembled state by a hood element 200, which in Fig. 1b is shown. This hood member 200 has for receiving a cable core two aligned openings 210, of which the rear in the isometric view of Fig. 1b is not visible. The hood member 200 further has on its surface a portion 205 which is formed in the form of a flat surface and receiving a suction pipette used, for example, in the automated assembly is used. The hood element 200 is very advantageously accessible to automatic production in this way. The hood member 200 has on three sides a chamfer 220, which signals a direction of placement. In addition, the hood element on its upper side openings 231, 232, 233, 234, which have different size and arrangement. These openings are used for quick detection, for example, a loading direction. The openings 233, 234 are also latching openings for the first latching elements 111, 112 and the openings 231, 232 correspond to the insulation displacement contacts 101, 102 and serve to stabilize them.

In Fig. 2a and 2b the sequence of attachment and contacting of a single wire 300 is described by means of the device according to the invention. First, the single wire 300 is guided through the aligned openings of the hood member 200, wherein it should be noted that the opening 210 is adapted in the hood member to the outer shape of the individual wire 300 such that the individual wire 300 is as possible without play in the openings. By means of this type of positioning of the individual wires 300 in the hood element 200, guidance and precise positioning of the cable core 300 with respect to the insulation displacement contacts 101, 102 is achieved. The hood element 200 is then pressed with the cable core 300 arranged therein by exerting a force directed essentially perpendicularly to the printed circuit board 50 in the direction of the latching elements 111, 112, causing them to latch into corresponding latching openings 233, 234 and at the same time by means of the insulation displacement contacts 101, 102 the contacting of the cable core 300 is carried out in that the insulation displacement contacts 101, 102 cut through an insulation jacket 301 and an electrical contact between the strands 302 of the cable core and the insulation displacement contacts 101, 102 is produced. Fig. 2b shows the fully assembled hood element on the circuit board 50. The conductive core of the cable core, ie the strands 302, are in this case electrically conductively connected to the insulation displacement contacts 101, 102.
Fig. 3 shows a further embodiment of a device according to the invention, in which the same elements are provided with the same reference numerals as in the Fig. 1 and 2 , Unlike the in Fig. 1 and 2 shown hood element has the in Fig. 3 illustrated hood element 200 'on a cable end of the cable core protecting, insulating and terminating cable stop 260, which extends substantially transversely to the positioning direction, which is indicated by the chamfer 220. The cable stop is preferably formed integrally with the hood element 200 'and, like the hood element 200', consists of plastic, which provides insulation. The cable stop does not completely cover the front housing part of the hood element 200 ', but leaves open a small opening, which essentially serves to make visible the end of the cable core 300 and its arrangement in the opening 210. It is in any case designed so that a frontal insulation and an end protection of the cable core 300 is given. It can also be provided that the cable stop 260 so far U-shaped over the front end face of the hood member 200 'extends, that the cable core protrudes a little way out of the opening and so a secure positioning and arrangement of the cable core 300 is given (not shown).
