Abstract
Gegenstand der Erfindung sind Siliconharzemulsionen (SE), herstellbar durch ein Verfahren, bei dem in einem ersten Schritt 100 Gewichtsteile Alkyltrialkoxysilan der allgemeinen Formel 1 mit 0 bis 5 Gewichtsteilen Alkylalkoxysilan der allgemeinen Formel II, mit 400 bis 2500 Gewichtsteilen Wasser und 5 bis 50 Gewichtsteilen Emulgator bei 10 bis 100°C vermischt werden, wobei Alkohol entsteht und in einem zweiten Schritt der im ersten Schritt entstandene Alkohol bis zu einem Gesamtgehalt an Alkohol von höchstens 0,5 Gew.-% abdestilliert wird, wobei Alkyltrialkoxysilan der allgemeinen Formel I und Alkylalkoxysilan der allgemeinen Formel II im Anspruch 1 beschrieben sind. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist auch ein Verfahren zur Hydrophobierung von Gips, bei dem der Gips mit H-Siloxan, aufgebaut aus Einheiten der allgemeinen Formeln III, IV, V, VI, und VII und der Siliconharzemulsion (SE) behandelt wird, wobei die Einheiten der allgemeinen Formeln III, IV, V, VI, und VII im Anspruch 4 beschrieben sind.
Description
Siliconharzemulsion und deren Einsatz bei der Hydrophobierung von Gips
Die Erfindung betrifft Siliconharzemulsionen und ein Verfahren zur Hydrophobierung von Gips, bei dem der Gips mit H-Siloxan und den Siliconharzemulsionen behandelt wird.
Mehrere direkt an Silicium gebundene Wasserstoffatome
enthaltende Slloxane (H-Siloxan) , insbesondere
Polymethylwasserstoffsiloxan ist hervorragend zur
Gipshydrophobierung geeignet. Es ist das effektivste Mittel überhaupt, d.h., durch Zugabe von sehr geringen Mengen, meist im Bereich von 0,2 - 0,6 Gew.-% wird eine sehr gute Hydrophobie erreicht. Da die Menge an diesem H-haltigen Produkt bedingt durch die zur Synthese benötigten Silane aus der Müller-Rochow- Synthese begrenzt ist, wird nach Alternativen gesucht.
Die Gipshydrophobierung ist ein Sonderfall in der
BaustoffChemie. Ein umfangreiches Werk zur Beschreibung der Gipshydrophobierung stellt die Dissertation von Linda
Jakobsmeier (TU München, 2000) dar. Ausführlich wird über die Wirkung von Polymethylwasserstoffsiloxan und
Trimethoxymethylsllan berichtet. Nachteil des
Trimethoxymethylsilans ist die Bildung von Methanol.
DE 10220659 A beschreibt die Verbesserung der wasserabweisenden Wirkung von H-Siloxan durch Zusatz von Stärkeethern.
Die wasserabweisende Wirkung von H-Siloxan kann ebenfalls durch Zusätze von alkalischen Verbindungen verbessert werden. Oftmals kommt es dabei zu Unverträglichkeiten mit anderen
Gipsplattenbestandteilen. Durch die Abspaltung von Wasserstoff
im alkalischen Bereich ist ein erhöhter Sicherheitsaufwand notwendig .
Zur Gipshydrophobiersung sind auch wässrige Emulsionen von Polymethylwasserstoffsiloxan im Einsatz,
EP 1083157 A beschreibt eine Emulsion bestehend aus
Organohydrogensiloxan, Polyvinylalkohol, Wasser und einer aminofunktionellen Verbindung, wie Aminosilane oder organischem Amin.
US 2007022913 A beschreibt eine Gipeslurry bestehend aus Gips, Flugasche, als äußerst preiswertem Katalysator, Magnesiumoxid und einer Emulsion aus Wasser und lösemittelfreiem
Methylhydrogensiloxan .
DE 19517346 A beschreibt Emulsionen von
Organosiliciumverbindungen, besonders von Alkoxygruppen enthaltenden. Hier werden die mangelnde Lagerstabilität und nachlassende hydrophobierende Wirkung von Emulsionen von
Alkoxysilanen aufgezeigt. Vom Einsatz von Methoxysilanen wird z.B. auch in DE 19707219 und DE 19904496 abgeraten.
Beispielsweise in US 5776245 wird bemerkt, dass die Anwesenheit von Emulgatoren sich negativ auf den Hydrophobiereffekt auswirkt ,
Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfidung war es, eine Alternative zum Organowasserstoffpolysiloxan für die Gipshydrophobierung zu finden.
Gegenstand der Erfindung sind Siliconharzemulsionen (SE) , herstellbar durch ein Verfahren, bei dem in einem' ersten
Schritt
100 Gewichtsteile Alkyltrialkoxysilan der allgemeinen Formel I
R(R1O)3Si (I), mit 0 bis 5 Gewichtsteilen Alkylalkoxysilan der allgemeinen Formel II
R'a(R1'O)bSi (II) , mit 400 bis 2500 Gewichtstellen Wasser und
5 bis 50 Gewichtsteilen Emulgator bei 10 bis 100°C vermischt werden, wobei Alkohol R1OH und gegebenenfalls R1'OH entsteht und in einem zweiten Schritt der im ersten Schritt entstandene Alkohol R1OH und gegebenenfalls R^OH bis zu einem Gesamtgehalt an Alkohol von höchstens 0,5 Gew.-% abdestilliert wird, wobei R, R' Alkylreste mit 1-10 Kohlenstoffatomen,
R1, R1' Alkylreste mit 1-6 Kohlenstoffatomen,
a die Werte 0, 1, 2 oder 3 und
b die Werte 1, 2, 3 oder 4 bedeuten.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist auch ein Verfahren zur
Hydrophobierung von Gips, bei dem der Gips mit
H-Siloxan, aufgebaut aus Einheiten der allgemeinen Formeln III, IV, V, VI, und VII
R33SiOO1/2 (III) , R3HSiO2/2 (IV) ,
R3 2SiO2/2 (V) , R3SiO3/2 (VI) ,
SiO4/2 (VII) , in denen
R3 Alkylreste mit 1-10 Kohlenstoffatomen bedeutet,
und der vorstehend beschriebenen Siliconharzemulsion (SE) behandelt wird. Bei der Hydrophobierung von Gips ersetzen die
Siliconharzemulsion (SE) nicht nur einen Teil des H-Slloxans, sonndern es reicht .auch eine erheblich kleinere Menge an
Siliconharz (S) in der Siliconharzemulsion (SE) aus, eine gleichwertige oder sogar bessere Hydrophobierung von Gips zu erreichen, als mit H-Slloxan alleine. Es tritt eine
synergistische Wikung ein.
Die Siliconharzemulsion (SE) behält ihre Fähigkeit zur
Gipshydrophobierung über Monate Lagerungszelt bei, im Gegensatz zu konzentrierten Emulsionen oder reinen Hydrolysaten von
Methyltrimethoxysilan. Überraschend ist, dass die über Monate gelagerten Siliconharzemulsionen (SE) in Kombination mit H- Siloxan hervorragende Effekte bei der Gipshydrophobierung zeigen. Die durch den Eraulgatorgehalt bewirkte Hydrophilie des Gipses wird durch den hydrophobierenden Effekt des emulgierten Siliconharzes stark überkompensiert.
Der Einsatz der Siliconharzemulsion (SE) zur Hydrophobierung von Gips ist aufgrund der kleinen Restmengen an Alkohol für die Umgebung unbedenklich.
Vorzugsweise weisen die Alkylreste R, R' 1 bis 6
Kohlenstoffatome auf, besonders bevorzugt sind sind Ethyl- und
Methylrest, Vorzugsweise weisen die Alkylreste R1, R1'1 bis 3
Kohlenstoffatome auf, besonders bevorzugt sind sind Ethyl- und Methylrest .
Vorzugsweise werden im Verfahren höchstens 2 Gewichtsteile, besonders bevorzugt höchstens 0,5 Gewichtsteile, insbesondere kein Alkylalkoxysilan der allgemeinen Formel II eingesetzt.
Vorzugsweise werden im Verfahren mindestens 500, besonders bevorzugt mindestens 600, und höchstens 2000, besonders bevorzugt höchstens 900 Gewichtsteile Wasser eingesetzt.
Vorzugsweise werden im Verfahren mindestens 10, besonders bevorzugt mindestens 15, und höchstens 50, besonders bevorzugt höchstens 30 Gewichtstelle Emulgator eingesetzt.
Vorzugsweise wird das Verfahren bei mindestens 15°C und höchstens 95°C, besonders bevorzugt höchstens 50°C
durchgeführt. Je höher der Wasseranteil im Verfahren
eingestellt wird, desto höher darf die Temperatur sein,
Vorzugsweise wird das Vermischen mindestens 10 Minuten, besonders bevorzugt mindestens 30 Minuten durchgeführt.
Die Reaktionszeit beträgt bei Temperaturen bis 50 °C wenigstens 30 min und höchstens 2 Stunden. Bei höheren Temperaturen verkürzt sich die Reaktionszeit entsprechend.
Der Gehalt an gebildetem emulgiertem Siliconharz (S) beträgt am Ende des ersten Schritts vorzugsweise mindestens 2 Gew.-%, besonders bevorzugt mindestens 4 Gew. -%, insbesondere
mindestens 5 Gew.-% und höchstens 10 Gew.-tr, besonders
bevorzugt höchstens 8 Gew.-% der Emulsion.
Vorzugsweise wird im zweiten Schritt bis zu einem Gesamtgehalt an Alkohol von höchstens 0,1 Gew.-%, besonders bevorzugt höchstens 0,01 Gew.-%, insbesondere höchstens 0,001 Gew.-% abdestilliert.
Bei der Destillation wird neben der Entfernung von Alkohol auch der Wassergehalt reduziert. Die gewünschte Konzentration der Emulsion kann eingestellt und überschüssiges Wasser erneut zur Emulsionsherstellung eingesetzt werden.
Besonders gute Lagerstabilität der Siliconharzemulsion (SE) wird erreicht, wenn die Destillation in mindestens zwei Stufen unterteilt wird. Die erste Stufe wird vorzugsweise bei einer Temperatur von mindestens 93 °C, insbesondere mindestens 9S°C und vorzugsweise höchstens 105°C, besonders bevorzugt höchstens 102°C, insbesondere höchstens 100°C durchgeführt. Der Druck wird dabei so gewählt, dass sich die gewünschte Temperatur einstellt. Der Druck beträgt vorzugsweise 900 bis 1100 mbar.
Die zweite Stufe wird vorzugsweise bei einer Temperatur von mindestens 20°C, besonders bevorzugt mindestens 30°C,
insbesondere mindestens 40°C und vorzugsweise höchstens 70°C, besonders bevorzugt höchstens 60°C, insbesondere höchstens 50 °C durchgeführt. Der Druck wird dabei so gewählt, dass sich die gewünschte Temperatur einstellt. Der Druck beträgt vorzugsweise 1 bis 100 mbar.
Falls noch weitere Destillationsstufen durchgeführt werden, wählt man vorzugsweise die Verfahrensbedingungen der
bevorzugten Bereiche der zweiten Stufe.
Bei der Destillation in mindestens zwei Stufen kann eine
Lagerstabilität der Siliconharzemulsion (SE) von mindestens einem Jahr erreicht werden. Durch die Destillation, insbesondere in der ereten
Destillationsstufe kann der Alkohol R1OH und gegebenenfalls R1'OH größtenteils zurückgewonnen werden.
Als Emulgator kann jeder Emulgator eingesetzt werden, der für die Herstellung von Siliconemulsionen geeignet ist.
Als anionische Emulgatoren eignen sich besonders :
1. Alkylsulfate, besonders solche mit einer Kettenlänge von 8 bis 18 C-Atomen, Alkyl- und Alkarylethersulfate mit 8 bis 18 C-
Atomen im hydrophoben Rest und l bis 40 Ethylenoxid(EO) - bzw. Propylenoxid (PO) einheiten.
2. Sulfonate, besonders Alkylsulfonate mit 8 bis 18 C-Atomen, Alkylarylsulfonate mit 8 bis 18 C-Atomen, Tauride, Ester und
Halbester der Sulfobernsteinsäure mit einwertigen Alkoholen oder Alkylphenolen mit 4 bis 15 C-Atomen; gegebenenfalls können diese Alkohole oder Alkylphenole auch mit 1 bis 40 EO-Elnheiten ethoxyliert sein.
3. Alkali- und Ammoniumsalze von Carbonsäuren mit 8 bis 20 C- Atomen im Alkyl-, Aryl-, Alkaryl- oder Aralkylrest.
4. Phosphorsäureteilester und deren Alkali- und Ammoniumsalze, besonders Alkyl- und Alkarylphosphate mit 8 bis 20 C-Atomen im organischen Rest, Alkylether- bzw. Alkaryletherphosphate mit 8 bis 20 C-Atomen im Alkyl- bzw. Alkarylrest und 1 bis 40 EO- Einheiten. Als nichtionische Emulgatoren eignen sich besonders:
5. Polyvinylalkohol, vorzugsweise der noch 5 bis 50 %,
insbesondere 8 bis 20 % Vinylacetateinheiten aufweist, mit einem bevorzugten Polymerisationsgrad von 500 bis 3000.
6. Alkylpolyglycolether, vorzugsweise solche mit 8 bis 40 EO- Einheiten und Alkylresten von 8 bis 20 C-Atomen.
7. Alkylarylpolyglycolether, vorzugsweise solche mit 8 bis 40 EO-Einheiten und 8 bis 20 C-Atomen in den Alkyl- und
Arylresten.
8. Ethylenoxid/Propylenoxid(EO/PO) -Blockcopolymere,
vorzugsweise solche mit 8 bis 40 EO- bzw. PO-Einheiten.
9. Additionsprodukte von Alkylaminen mit Alkylresten von 8 bis 22 C-Atomen mit Ethylenoxid oder Propylenoxid .
10. Fettsäuren mit 6 bis 24 C-Atomen.
11. Alkylpolyglykoside der allgemeinen Formel R*-O-Zo, worin R* einen linearen oder verzweigten, gesättigten oder ungesättigten
Alkylrest mit im Mittel 8 - 24 C-Atomen und Zo einen
oligoglykosidrest mit im Mittel o = 1 - 10 Hexose- oder
Pentoseeinheiten oder Gemischen davon bedeuten. 12. Naturstoffe und deren Derivate, wie Lecithin, Lanolin, Saponine, Cellulose; Cellulosealkylether und
Carboxyalkylcellulosen, deren Alkylgruppen jeweils bis zu 4 Kohlenstoffatome besitzen. 13. Polare Gruppen enthaltende lineare Organo (poly) siloxane, insbesondere solche mit Alkoxygruppen mit bis zu 24 C-Atomen und/oder bis zu 40 BO- und/oder PO-Gruppen.
Als kationische Emulgatoren eignen sich besonders:
14. Salze von primären, sekundären und tertiären Fettaminen mit 8 bis 24 C-Atomen mit Essigsäure, Schwefelsäure,
Salzsäure und Phosphorsäuren. 15. Quarternäre Alkyl- und Alkylbenzolammonlumsalze,
insbesondere solche, deren Alkylgruppe 6 bis 24 C-Atome besitzen, insbesondere die Halogenide, Sulfate, Phosphate und Acetate . 16. Alkylpyridinium- , Alkylimidazolinium- und
Alkyloxazoliniumsalze, insbesondere solche, deren Alkylkette bis zu 18 C-Atome besitzt, speziell die Halogenide, Sulfate, Phosphate und Acetate. Als Ampholytische Emulgatoren eignen sich besonders:
17. Langkettig substituierte Aminosäuren, wie N-Alkyl-di- (aminoethyl- ) glycin oder N-Alkyl-2~aminopropionsäuresalze .
18. Betaine, wie N- (3-Acylamidopropyl) -N:N- dimethylammoniumsalze mit einem Cg-Cig-Acylrest und Alkyl- imidazolium-Betaine .
Besonders bevorzugt sind die nichtionischen Emulgatoren, insbesondere Polyvinylalkohol .
Das bei der Hydrophobierung von Gips einsetzbare H-Siloxan weist vorzugsweise die allgemeine Formel VIII
R3 3SiO(R3HSiO)x(R3 2SiO)ySiR33 (VIII) , auf, in der R3 die vorstehenden Bedeutungen hat und
x ganzzahlige Werte von 10 bis 200 und
y ganzzahlige Werte von 0 bis 100 bedeuten. Vorzugsweise bedeutet x Werte von mindestens 20, besonders bevorzugt mindestens 30, insbesondere mindestens 40 und vorzugsweise höchstens 150, besonders bevorzugt höchstens 100, insbesondere höchstens 70.
Vorzugsweise bedeutet y Werte von höchstens 50, besonders bevorzugt höchstens 20, insbesondere höchstens 5. In einer besonders bevorzugten Variante hat y den Wert 0.
Unter den Gipsarten ist Plaster (CaSO4 * 0,5 H2O) , in Form von beispielsweise Baugips, Stuckgips, Modellgips oder isoliergips bevorzugt. Auch andere Gipsarten, wie Estrichgips, Marmorgips, Anhydrit und das bei der Rauchgasentschwefelung anfallende
Calciumsulfat sind gut geeignet. Der Gips kann Zusätze
enthalten, die die Herstellung von Gipsformkörpern erleichtern oder die Eigenschaften der Gipsformkörper verbessern. Zusätze sind beispieleweise Füllstoffe, wie Siliciumdioxid und
Cellulosefasern, Beschleuniger, wie Kaliumsulfat und
Aluminiumsulfat, Verzögerer, wie Eiweisse oder Weineäuresalze, Plastifizierungsmittel für den Gipsbrei, wie Ligninsulfonate und Haftvermittler für Karton, wie Stärke. Vorzugsweise werden für die Behandlung von Gips pro 100
Gewichtsteile H-Siloxan der allgemeinen Formel III ein Menge an Siliconharzemulsion (SE) eingesetzt, welche mindestens 5, besonders bevorzugt mindestens 10, insbesondere mindestens 15 Gewichtsteile und höchstens 60, besonders bevorzugt höchstens 50, insbesondere höchstens 30 Gewichtsteile emulgiertes
Siliconharz (S) als Wirkstoff enthält. Die vorstehenden
Wirkstoffgehalte ergeben auch eine besonders lagerstabile Siliconharzemulsion (SE) . Vorzugsweise werden für die Behandlung von Gips pro 100
Gewichtsteile Gips mindestens 0,05, besonders bevorzugt mindestens 0,1 Gewichtsteile und höchstens 1, besonders bevorzugt höchstens 0,5 Gewichtsteile H-Siloxan eingesetzt. Vorzugsweise wird H-Siloxan für die Behandlung von Gips lösemittelfrei eingesetzt, es kann aber auch mit einem
Lösungsmittel verdünnt werden.
Vorzugsweise werden H-Siloxan und Siliconharzemulsion (SE) getrennt voneinander gelagert, Sie werden vorzugsweise
nacheinander zum Gips gegeben oder unmittelbar vor der
Hydrophobierung vermischt .
Vorzugsweise wird die Gipshydrophobierung als
Massehydrophobierung angewendet. Wenn dabei aus Gips, H-Siloxan und Siliconharzemulsion (SE) eine formbare Masse hergestellt wird, muss Wasser zugesetzt werden. Vorzugsweise werden, bezogen auf 100 Gewichtsteile Gips, 30 bis 140, insbesondere 50 bis 100 Gewichtsteile Wasser zugesetzt.
In einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform wird ein Gipsbrei
hergestellt, der Gips, Wasser, H-Siloxan und
Siliconharzemulsion (SE) enthält. Dieser Gipsbrei kann auch durch Einarbelten von Luft zu einem Gipsschaum aufgebläht werden . Durch Formung des Gipsbreies können Gipsformkörper hergestellt werden .
Gipsformkörper können auch nach dem Formen, nach dem Abbinden oder erat nach dem Trocknen mit H-Siloxan und
Siliconharzemulsion (SE) zur Hydrophobierung behandelt werden. Die Behandlung kann beispielsweise durch Tauchen, Sprühen oder Bestreichen mit der Siliconharzemulsion (SE) und H-Siloxan erfolgen. Beispiele für Gipsformkörper sind Gipsplatten, wie
Wandbauplatten oder Gipskartonplatten.
Alle vorstehenden Symbole der vorstehenden Formeln weisen ihre Bedeutungen jeweils unabhängig voneinander auf. In allen
Formeln ist das Siliciumatom vierwertlg.
In den folgenden Beispielen sind, falls jeweils nicht anders angegeben, alle Mengen- und Prozentangaben auf das Gewicht bezogen, alle Drücke 0,10 MPa (abs.) und alle Temperaturen 20°C.
Herstellung einer wässrigen, lösemittelfreien Methylharzemulsion (SE)
In einen 1,5 1~ Reaktionskolben, ausgerüstet mit Rührer und Destillationsaufsatz, werden 600 g Wasser und 90 g 20 %-ige Polyvinylalkohollösung vorgelegt und gerührt. 102 g
Methyltrimethoxysilan werden innerhalb von 30 min in die
Flüssigkeit dosiert und anschließend noch zwei Stunden bei Raumtemperatur gerührt. Am Ende der Hydrolyse beträgt die Wirkstoffkonzentration 6,3 Gew.-%-.
Danach beginnt die 2 -stufige Destillation. Die erste Stufe wird bei 93 bis 99°C und die zweite Stufe bei 45 °C und 50 mbar durchgeführt .
Entsprechend der ' Destillatmenge über beide Stufen ergeben sich die folgenden Konzentrationen an Wirkstoff (Methylharz) und Emulgator (Polyvinylalkohol) :
200 g Destillat => 8,5 % Methylharz, 3 % Emulgator
400 g Destillat => 12,8 % Methylharz, 4,6 % Emulgator
500 g Destillat => 17,2 % Methylharz, 6,2 % Emulgator
Die Emulsionen sind über ein Jahr lagerstabil und verändern ihre Eigenschaften in Bezug auf die Gipshydrophobierung nicht.
Einsatz von Methylharzemulsion (SE) bei der Gipshydrophobierung
Die Gipsprobekörper werden wie folgt hergestellt:
80 Gewichtsteile teilentsalztes Wasser, H-Slloxangemisch der Formel
(CH3) 3SiO( (CH3)HSiO)xSi(CH3)3 x - 48 - 55
und Methylharzemulsion werden 120 s mit einem Rührer bei 1000 U/min vermischt. Danach werden 100 Gewichtsteile Modellgips zugegeben und weitere 120 s gerührt.
Der resultierende Gipsbrei wird in PVC-Formen zu
Probekörperscheiben mit 8 cm Durchmesser und 2 cm Höhe
gegossen. Nach 1 Stunde Lagerung bei 20 °C werden die
erstarrten Probekörper entschalt. Die Probekörper werden zuerst senkrecht 24 Stunden bei 40 °C getrocknet und danach 3 Tage bei 20 °C gelagert.
Danach erfolgt die Bestimmung der Wasseraufnahme nach DIN 18180. Die Probekörper werden in horizontaler Lage in Wasser von 23 °C so eingetaucht, dass 2 cm Wassersäule über der Probenoberfläche steht. Nach zweistündiger Wasserlagerung werden die Probekörper aus dem Wasser genommen, das oberflächlich
anhaftende Wasser entfernt und die Massenzunahme durch wägen bestimmt.
Da die Wirkung zur Gipshydrophobierung sehr stark von der Gipsqualität abhängig ist, wird bei jeder Versuchsserie auch immer eine Bestimmung mit reinem H-Siloxan durchgeführt. Die in den Tabellen angeführten Werte resultieren immer aus
Doppelbestimmungen .
In den Beispielen wird die Menge an H-Siloxan und
Methylharzemulsion angegeben, die auf 100 Gewichtsteile
Modellgips eingesetzt wird.
Beispiel Ii Versuchreihe mit Gipscharge A (Modellgips)
Im nicht erfindungsgemäseen Vergleichsversuch V1 werden 0,4
Gewichfcsteile H-Siloxan zugesetzt.
In den erfindungsgemäesen Versuchen V2-V8 werden 0,2
Gewichtsteile H-Siloxan und 0,2 Gewichtsteile
Methylharzemulsion zugesetzt.
In Tabelle 1 sind die Gehalte an Methylharz, Emulgator und Gesamtfeststoff der Methylharzemulsionen sowie die
Wasseraufnahme nach DIN 18180 für die Versuche V1-V8 angegeben.

Beispiel 2: Versuchreihe mit Gipsoharge B (Modellgips)
Im nicht erfindungsgemäesen Vergleichsversuch V9 werden 0,4 Gewichtsteile H-Siloxan zugesetzt.
In den erfindungsgemässen Versuchen V10E-V12E werden 0,2
Gewichtsteile H-Siloxan und 0,2 Gewichtstelle
Methylharzemulsion zugesetzt. Die Methylharzemulsionen
enthalten jeweils 0,5 % Essigsäure.
In Tabelle 2 sind die Gehalte an Methylharz, Emulgator und Gesamtfeststoff der Methylharzemulsionen sowie die
Wasseraufnahme nach DIN 18180 für die Versuche V9 und V10E-V12E angegeben .

Beispiel 3» Versuchreihe mit Gipscharge C (Modellgips)
Im nicht erfindungsgemässen Vergleichsversuch V13 werden 0,4 Gewichtsteile H-Siloxan zugesetzt.
In den erfindungsgemässen Versuchen V14-V22 werden 0,2
Gewichtsteile H-Siloxan und die in Tabelle 3 angegebene Menge an Gewichtsteilen Methylharzemulsion zugesetzt.
In Tabelle 3 sind die Gehalte an Methylharz, Emulgator und Gesamtfeststoff der Methylharzemulsionen sowie die
Wasseraufnahme nach DIN 18180 für die Versuche V13 bis V22 angegeben .

In allen erfindungsgemässen Versuchen Ist eine drastische Einsparung an H-Siloxan bei gleichzeitig verbesserter
Hydrophobierung feststellbar.
Je höher konzentriert die Emulsion ist, desto so geringer ist die notwendige Einsatzmenge für die Gipshydrophobierung . Höhere Konzentrationen sind jedoch mit deutlicher Viskositätserhöhung verbunden und es besteht die Gefahr, dass aufgrund größerer Moleküle die Wirksamkeit zur Gipshydrophobierung nachläßt bzw. verloren geht. Die Emulsionen sind dann schon cremeartig, was für die Dosierung nachteilig ist.
Claims
Patentansprüche 1. Siliconharzemulsionen (SE) , herstellbar durch ein
Verfahren, bei dem in einem ersten Schritt 100
Gewichteteile Alkyltrialkoxysilan der allgemeinen Formel
R (R1O) 3Si (I) mit 0 bis 5 Gewichtsteilen Alkylalkoxysilan der allgemeinen Formel II
R'a(R1'O)bSi (II) , mit 400 bis 2500 Gewichteteilen Wasser und
5 bis 50 Gewichtstellen Emulgator bei 10 bis 100 °C
vermischt werden, wobei Alkohol R1OH und gegebenenfalls R1'OH entsteht und in einem zweiten Schritt der im ersten
Schritt entstandene Alkohol R1OH und gegebenenfalls R1'OH bis zu einem Gesamtgehalt an Alkohol von höchstens 0,5 Gew.-% abdestilliert wird, wobei
R, R' Alkylreste mit 1-10 Kohlenstoffatomen,
R1, R1' Alkylreste mit 1-6 Kohlenstoffatomen,
a die Werte 0, 1, 2 oder 3 und
b die Werte 1, 2, 3 oder 4 bedeuten.
2. Siliconharzemulsionen (SE) nach Anspruch 1, bei denen die Alkylreste R, R', R1, R1 Methylreste sind.
3. Siliconharzemulsionen (SE) nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, bei
denen während der Herstellung die Destillation in mindestens zwei Stufen unterteilt wird, wobei die erste Stufe bei einer Temperatur von mindestens 93 °C,
durchgeführt wird.
4. Verfahren zur Hydrophobierung von Gips, bei dem der Gips mit
H-Siloxan, aufgebaut aus Einheiten der allgemeinen Formeln III, IV, V, VI, und VII
R3 3SiO1/2 (III) ,
R3HSiO2/2 (IV),
R3 2SiO2/2 (V) ,
R3SiO3/2 (VI) ,
SiO4/2 (VII) , in denen
Alkylreste mit 1-10 Kohlenstoffatomen bedeutet,
und der Siliconharzemulsion (SE) gemäss Anspruch 1 bis 3 behandelt wird.
5. Verfahren nach Anspruch 4, bei dem pro 100 Gewichtsteile H Slloxan der allgemeinen Formel III ein Menge an
Siliconharzemulsion (SE) eingesetzt wird, welche 5 bis 60 Gewichtstelle emulgiertes Siliconharz (S) als Wirkstoff enthält .
6. Verfahren nach Anspruch 4 oder 5, bei dem pro 100
Gewichtsteile Gips 0,05 bis 0,5 Gewichtsteile H-Siloxan eingesetzt Vierden.
7. Verfahren nach Anspruch 4 bis 6, bei dem die
Gipshydrophobierung eine Massehydrophobierung ist.
8. Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, bei dem ein Gipsbrei hergestellt wird, der Gips, Wasser, H-Siloxan und Siliconharzemulsion (SE) enthält.
