Figur 1 zeigt in schematischer Darstellung eine Ausführungsform eines ersten Garniturdrahtes 20 in einer Ansicht und einem Querschnitt an der Stelle X-X. Es handelt sich dabei um einen Sägezahndraht mit den Zähnen 21 mit einer Gesamthöhe h11 von 4,5 mm und einer Zahntiefe h61 von 2,5 mm. Die Zähne 21 des Garniturdrahtes 20 sind derart geformt, dass eine Spitzenfläche 24 entsteht. Die Spitzenfläche 24 ist so angelegt, dass sie sich zur Rückenfläche 23 des Zahns 21 neigt, wodurch ein positiver Spitzenflächenwinkel η1 entsteht. Die Brustfläche 22 des Zahns 21 neigt sich gegen dessen Rückenfläche 23, wodurch ein negativer Arbeitswinkel α1 gebildet wird.
