  • the connection element, the check valve and the float valve provide a flow channel, so that water from the supply line into the interior of the sanitary article can be fed.
  • the float is moved by a rising water level in the sanitary article and closes the float valve when reaching a predefined water level, whereby the water supply is interrupted.
  • the valve arrangement further comprises at least one orientation element, via which the float valve can be aligned in the sanitary article.
  • the orientation element is in contact with a wall of the sanitary article, wherein the float valve can be aligned with the sanitary article via the wall.
  • the float of the float valve in the sanitary article can be aligned so that it does not touch the wall of the sanitary article, thereby preventing the friction, which in the worst case could result in blockage of the float.
  • the reliability can be increased.
  • the float valve is directly or indirectly in communication with the orientation element.
  • the orientation element is directly or indirectly in communication with the orientation element.
  • the orientation element is preferably arranged such that the float of the float valve is movable parallel to a wall of the sanitary article. This further increases operational safety.
  • the orientation element preferably has the shape of at least one of Shut-off valve and / or laterally projecting from the float valve guide tab, which engages in a guide recess on or in the wall of the sanitary article, via this intervention, the valve assembly to the sanitary article is aligned.
  • Particularly preferred are two orientation elements are present, which are opposite walls in contact, so that the check valve and / or the float valve are aligned in two different locations.
  • the orientation element is arranged or formed on the check valve, wherein the float valve and the check valve comprise an alignment element, via which the float valve can be aligned to the check valve and is optionally connectable to this.
  • the coupling between the check valve and the float valve comprises the alignment element, wherein the alignment element in particular prevents a radial passage to the flow passage and optionally an axial displacement between check valve and float valve.
  • the alignment element preferably has the shape of an opening and a tab which can be pushed into the opening, the tab and the opening extending in a common direction with respect to the direction of movement of the float.
  • the tab is preferably arranged on a locking element, which communicates with the float valve in conjunction, while the check valve, the corresponding opening is present.
  • the orientation element is arranged on the float valve, which makes the arrangement of the alignment unit between the shut-off valve and the float valve superfluous.
  • FIG. 1 is an exploded view of a valve assembly 1 for the filling of a sanitary article, in particular a cistern 2 for a urinal or a toilet shown.
  • the valve assembly 1 may also be referred to as a filling valve unit.
  • the valve assembly 1 is shown in the connected state.
  • the valve arrangement 1 essentially provides a flow channel 3, through which water can be fed into the sanitary article 2 from a supply line 4.
  • the flow channel 3 is provided by a series of fittings, in particular by valves of the valve assembly 1.
  • the valves serve to interrupt the flow through the flow channel 3.
  • the valve assembly 1 essentially comprises a connection element 5, a check valve 6 and a float valve. 7
  • connection element 5 essentially serves to connect the supply line 4 to the valve arrangement 1 or to the cistern 2.

  • the coupling portion 5c communicates with a coupling portion 6a of the check valve 6.
  • the check valve 6 is here with the coupling portion 5c of the connection element 5 with the connection element 5 in connection.
  • the check valve 6 essentially serves as a shut-off device to interrupt the inflow of water from the supply line 4 manually, ie by hand. Such an interruption is desired by the installer, for example, when maintenance work on the cistern 2 or the float valve 7 are pending.
  • the check valve 6 essentially comprises an actuating element 25 and a valve element connected thereto, which can be moved by the actuating element 25 from an open position to a closed position or vice versa. In the open position, the flow channel 3 is open, so that water can flow through, while in the closed position no flow is possible.
  • the check valve 6 is connected via a coupling portion 6b with the float valve 7 via the coupling portion 7a in connection.
  • the float valve 7 essentially comprises a float 13, which is movable by a rising water level 14 in the sanitary article 2 and the float valve closes upon reaching a predefined water level, so that the supply of water is interrupted in the sanitary article 2.
  • the water level 14 lowers in the sanitary article, which also leads to a lowering of the float 13, in which case the float valve 7 is again opened and fresh water can flow into the sanitary article 2.
  • the connecting element 5 is connected to the cistern 2 in a first step.
  • the supply line is then connected and after connecting the supply line the check valve 6 is connected to the connection element 5 and the float valve 7 to the check valve 6.
  • connection element 5 may be formed integrally with the check valve 6, so that the installer install only a single element got to.
  • the separation of the two parts has the advantage that when connecting the connecting element 5 to the supply line 4 no large forces on the check valve 6 and the float valve 7 act.

  • the guide recess 18 is provided here by a recess in the wall 9 of the cistern 2.
  • the wall 9 has for this purpose two elevations 19, between which the guide recess 18 extends.
  • two guide recesses 18 are arranged with respect to the interior 12 on opposite walls 9, so that the valve arrangement 1 can be aligned via two different locations.
  • the guide tabs 17 of the check valve 6 can be inserted along the direction of the central axis of the flow channel 3 in the guide recess 18.
  • the at least one orientation element 15 is in contact or in engagement with at least one side of the wall 9 and thus the orientation of the float valve 7 or of the float 13 in the interior 12 of the cistern 2 is ensured.
  • the alignment member 16 in the present embodiment consists of a tab 20 and an opening 21 into which the tab 20 is inserted.
  • the tab 20 is part of a locking element 22 which is in communication with the float valve 7 and axially displaceable to the flow channel 3.
  • the opening 21 is part of the check valve 6 and is in a defined angular position to the orientation element 15.
  • the tab 20 is also in a defined angular position with the float 13. It can therefore be said that with respect to the direction of movement of the float 13, the tab 20 and the opening 21 extend in a common direction.
  • the locking element 22 can be moved by a connection between the float valve 7 and check valve 6 releasing position in a connection blocking position by hand.
  • FIG. 1 becomes the releasing position and in the FIG. 2 and the FIG. 3 the blocking position shown.
  • the movement is perpendicular to the flow direction and parallel to the wall 9, wherein the tab 20 and the opening 21 are then also perpendicular to the two orientation elements 15.
  • the locking element 22 has two snap elements 23 which can engage in corresponding recesses 24 on the float valve. In use, so if water is to flow through the valve assembly 1 with open check valve 6, the locking element 22 is also secured by a grip element 25 of the check valve 6. In this case, the actuating element 25 acts as a stop element for the locking element 22 against the movement in the releasing position.
  • the check valve 6 also comprises a locking element 26 which can project with locking bars 27 into correspondingly formed circumferential recesses 28 on the connecting element 5.
  • the locking element 26 is also of a locking, in which the check valve 6 with the connection element 5 in connection is, in a releasing position movable, in which the check valve 6 is separable from the connection element 5.
  • the at least one orientation element 15 is arranged on the float valve 7, in which case alignment of the blocking valve 6 is not absolutely necessary. In this embodiment, the float valve 7 is thus directly aligned.
  • the orientation element 15 preferably has a shape similar to the first embodiment.
  • connection element 4 comprises the at least one orientation element 15 and that this is then aligned with the wall 9 of the cistern 2. For example, via guide recesses 18 on the wall 9 of the cistern 2.
  • an alignment element 16 between the check valve 6 and the float valve 7 may be present, as described above.
