Claims (9)

  1. Lighting and/or signalling device (1; 10; 20; 30), specifically for a motor vehicle, comprising:
    - at least one electrically-powered light source (2; 11; 31),
    - at least one converter element (7; 14; 24; 33) for converting light energy into electrical energy, said electrical energy being employable for the electric power supply of the light source,
    - a lens (4) cooperating with the light source (2) to form a predetermined light beam, wherein the converter element (7) is arranged to the rear of the lens (4), in order to be able to receive light which has passed through the lens (4), characterized in that the converter element (7) is substantially arranged in a focal plane of the lens (4), wherein sunlight is focused by the lens (4) onto said converter element (7).
  2. Device according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the converter element (7; 14; 24; 33) comprises at least one photovoltaic cell.
  3. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the converter element (7; 14; 24; 33) is exclusively dedicated to the electric power supply of the light source (2; 11; 31).
  4. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises a housing (B) which defines an enclosure (E) for accommodating the light source (2; 11; 31), and the converter element (7; 14; 24; 33) is arranged in the enclosure of the housing (B).
  5. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the converter element (14) is arranged in proximity to the light source (11), wherein the converter element (14), for example, is attached to the light source (11).
  6. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises a mask (23), specifically in an enclosure of the housing (B), and the converter element (24) is at least partially arranged behind said mask (23).
  7. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises a diffuser (35) which is designed to defuse a proportion of the light which reaches the converter element (33).
  8. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the light source (2; 11; 31) comprises at least one LED.
  9. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is designed to fulfil at least one predetermined photometric function, selected from the following:
    - a main-beam headlight,
    - a dipped-beam headlight,
    - a DRL (daytime running light),
    - a directional indicator,
    - a clearance light.
