  • This separation process can be achieved with known separation methods utilizing the possibility for very low temperature in the cooling loop after the adiabatic expansion through the pressure reduction device 4.

Abstract

L'invention porte sur une installation comprenant un réservoir (7) destiné à stocker du gaz naturel liquéfié (LNG) en tant que carburant marin destiné à être utilisé dans un moteur de propulsion ou dans un autre consommateur porté par un navire, et un réchauffeur (6) destiné à vaporiser le LNG déchargé par le réservoir (7) pour cette utilisation. Pour refroidir la canalisation de remplissage du réservoir (9), l'installation comprend une boucle fermée d'échange de chaleur (1) qui contient un gaz non inflammable sous la forme gazeuse en tant que milieu d'échange de chaleur, un dispositif compresseur (2) destiné à comprimer le gaz, un échangeur de chaleur (3) destiné à refroidir le gaz comprimé par utilisation du LNG déchargé par le réservoir, un dispositif détendeur (4) pour le gaz et un ou plusieurs échangeurs de chaleur (5a, 5b) destinés à refroidir la conduite de remplissage du réservoir (9). La boucle (1) peut aussi être utilisée pour refroidir le LNG qui est chargé dans le réservoir (7) et pour refroidir l'intérieur du réservoir.
