Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zum Bilden von Paketen aus Druckprodukten, mit einem Aufnahmeraum für aufeinander folgend zugeführte Druckprodukte, mit einem Lift, der wenigstens ein im Wesentlichen vertikal im Aufnahmeraum bewegbares Liftelement besitzt und mit wenigstens einem Ausstosselement zum Herausfördern der Pakete aus dem Aufnahmeraum. Dabei sind Druckprodukte in einer oberen Position des wenigstens einen Liftelements auf dieses ablegbar. Mit dem zumindest einen Liftelement sind die Druckprodukte zunächst nach unten in den Aufnahmeraum bewegbar und anschliessend mittels einer gegen zumindest ein Presselement der Vorrichtung nach oben gerichteten Bewegung zu einem Paket abpressbar. Die Aufgabe ist bei einer gattungsgemässen Vorrichtung dadurch gelöst, dass die Vorrichtung ein den Aufnahmeraum nach unten begrenzendes, insbesondere als Drehtisch ausgebildetes Auflageelement für das Paket aufweist, dass das wenigstens eine Liftelement aus seiner unteren Position heraus in eine das Paket auf das Auflageelement freigebende Position bewegbar ist und bei einem gattungsgemässen Verfahren in eine solche Position bewegt wird. Dadurch kann das wenigstens eine Liftelement bereits während oder sogar noch vor dem Ausstossen des gebildeten Paketes nach oben gefahren und in eine Position gebracht werden, in welcher weitere Druckprodukte abgelegt werden können. Auf das wenigstens eine Liftelement können damit bereits dann Druckprodukte abgelegt werden, wenn das gebildete Paket noch nicht vollständig ausgestossen ist. Auf diese Weise ist es möglich, die Zykluszeit zum Bilden der Pakete wesentlich zu verkürzen. Zudem kann vermieden werden, dass die Druckprodukte beim Ablegen ungeführt eine vergleichsweise weite Strecke zurücklegen müssen. Die Bewegungen können beispielsweise pneumatisch, hydraulisch oder motorisch angetrieben sein. Das Abpressen der Druckprodukte kann durch Anheben des Liftes durchgeführt werden. Bei der Aufnahme mehrerer Stapel wird der Lift entsprechend stufenweise nach unten bewegt. Mit der erfindungsgemässen Vorrichtung können Pakete mit Stapeln aus einer einzigen Lage oder auch aus mehreren und insbesondere kreuzweise angeordneten Lagen gebildet werden. Ebenso können die Seitenwände 35 entsprechend den Seitenwänden 10 ausgebildet sein und hier nicht dargestellte Schlitze 11 für die Stäbe 46 aufweisen.
