Die Erfindung betrifft ein modular aufgebautes Druckergerät mit einer entnehmbaren kastenförmigen Baueinheit, gemäß der im Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1 angegebenen Art. Unter einem Druckergerät soll ein Gerät verstanden werden, das zum Drucken auf flache zu bedruckende Güter während des Durchlaufs der flachen Güter durch das Gerät ausgestattet ist. Die Erfindung gestattet die Entnahme einer kastenförmigen Einheit aus dem Druckergerät, bei Stau von flachen zu bedruckenden Gütern im Transportpfad und Störungen des Durchlaufs der flachen Güter, zwecks Reinigung der Sensoren und der Transportelemente und zur Entleerung das Tintenauffangbehälters sowie zur Wartung der Transporteinheit des Druckergeräts. - ein Verriegelungsmittel des Druckergeräts,
- ein mechanisches Verbindungselement, welches an einer Gehäusewand einer kastenförmigen Baueinheit angeformt ist, wobei die kastenförmige Baueinheit im Betriebsmodus in das Druckergerät eingeschoben ist und im Wartungsmodus aus dem Druckergerät entfernt werden kann, sowie
- einem Auslösemittel, welches auf das Verriegelungsmittel mit einer ersten und zweiten Kraftkomponente einwirkt,
- i) wobei durch eine im Betriebsmodus in z-Richtung wirksame erste Kraftkomponente das Verriegelungsmittel und das mechanische Verbindungselement miteinander in Eingriff gebracht sind, um die in das Druckergerät eingeschobene kastenförmigen Baueinheit an dem Druckergerät zu verriegeln und
- ii) wobei durch eine im Wartungsmodus entgegengesetzt zur z-Richtung wirksame zweiten Kraftkomponente das Verriegelungsmittel und das mechanische Verbindungselement außer Eingriff gebracht sind, um die in das Druckergerät eingeschobene kastenförmige Baueinheit zu entriegeln, bevor letztere aus dem Druckergerät entfernt werden kann.
