Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Steuerung eines einen Niederdruck- (1) und einen Hochdruckbereich (2) aufweisenden Kraftstoffeinspritzsystems einer Brennkraftmaschine, wobei eine Hochdruckkraftstoffpumpe (3) eine Niederdruckmenge aus dem Niederdruckbereich (1) zugeführt wird, welche diese Niederdruckmenge auf Hochdruck verdichtet und in einen Druckspeicher (11) des Hochdruckbereichs (2) fördert, und wobei die Niederdruckmenge der Hochdruckkraftstoffpumpe (3) entsprechend eines in einem Betriebspunkt der Brennkraftmaschine zu erreichenden Einspritzdrucks zudosiert wird, wobei ferner die Niederdruckmenge durch eine Regelung einer Fördermenge einer Förderpumpe (5) und einer Drosselmenge einer Zumesseinheit (8; 19) eingestellt wird. Die Erfindung betrifft des Weiteren die Ausgestaltung eines derartigen Kraftstoffeinspritzsystems.
