  • each hospital bed is designed according to the needs of the patient. Therefore, bed suppliers, in order not to have to store a range of media whose management would be difficult and expensive, manufacture each support depending on the bed to be transported and get rid of the support once used.
  • the support of the bed 1 described being its base 2, there is no problem of design, management or storage of a carrier for transport.
  • the bed base 3 can integrate different functionalities and have different shapes without the design of the base 2 should be reviewed, only the condition on the points 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44 d 'grip to be respected.
  • the coating surface 36 can vary in size or can be inclined or not.
  • Various accessories can then be reported on the bed 1 in the deployed position.
  • the system 19 for adjusting the height of the bed base 3 can be completely dissociated from the base 2, so as not to impede the folded position of the bed 1 or the extended position of the bed 1.
  • the space between the bed base 3 and the frame 4 of the base 2 is not very crowded, except by the braces 20 or another system 19 for adjusting the height of the bed base 3, so that it is possible to placed medical equipment, including electronic equipment.
  • the assembly method described above of the bed 1 once at the place of use allows a single operator to mount the bed 1 easily: the portions 3a, 3b of the bed base 3 can be raised a few centimeters only by one person , while the following steps do not require the presence of a second person.
  • the tilting of the two portions 3a, 3b of the bed base 3 is easily done by the operator placed next to the bed 1, between the two portions 3a, 3b of the bed base 3. Because of the precise calculation of the position of the points 45 , 52, 57, 63 of rotation, as well as the sliding of the bars 69 of extension of the portion 3b of feet in the portions 33a of spar 33 of the portion 3a of head, the two portions 3a, 3b of sommier 3 come effortlessly to arrange in the extension of one another.
