Definitions
- the present invention relates to an attachable to a table top of a table media bar. Furthermore, the invention relates to a table.
- the present invention is applicable in the context of a variety of furniture with a plate-like work surface, for example with known tables, standing desks, drawing boards and the like, the present invention and the underlying problems will be described below with reference to a table, in particular a seminar or conference table, explained in more detail.
- these media preferably have to be provided at the individual workstations, which usually include a desk. Because himself but the configuration of the individual workstations, especially the tables, usually changed for different events, such media supply should not be permanently installed, but can be changed as flexibly as possible.
- plug-in connectors have been developed in the past, which can be clamped to a table top of a table. So shows, for example, the DE 101 15 997 A1 a connector strip, which is clamped by means of clamping screws from above on a table top. As an abutment for the clamping screw provided under the table top cable box.
- the present invention has the object to improve the supply of a workplace, especially a seminar, conference or office desk, with the desired media such that on the one hand, the supply device that provides the media, well visible to the user and easily accessible is arranged and on the other hand, the high and time-consuming installation effort of conventional solutions is avoided.
- the spring element for fixing the media strip is adjustable to table tops at least two different thicknesses.
- the invention also provides a table having a table top on which such a media strip is attached.
- the idea of the present invention is to bring about the fixation of the media strip on the table top by means of a spring element.
- a spring force applied by the spring element By a spring force applied by the spring element, the media strip is reliably clamped to the table top as soon as it is plugged onto the edge of the table top.
- the dismantling of the media bar can be done by simply pulling off the table top.
- the adjustability of the spring element also advantageously allows a very flexible use of the media strip according to the invention. On tables with table tops of different thicknesses, the media strip can be plugged with the appropriately adjusted spring element, without the plugging would be difficult and cumbersome because of a thick table top or the clamping force would be insufficient for a thinner table top.
- the first portion of the spring element is arranged opposite the holding portion. In this way, by exerting the spring force on the second main surface, the spring element can clamp the holding section particularly effectively against the first main surface of the table top.
- a distance between the first portion of the spring element and the holding portion, measured in a state of the media bar, in which it is not attached to the table top changeable.
- the spring element can be locked relative to the holding section in at least two positions relative to the holding section for setting the spring element. This is useful to prevent the spring element unintentionally adjusted when applied forces that cause the elastically resilient deformation of the spring element when attaching the media strip.
- the base body is provided with at least two adjoining Einstellausappelisme.
- a second portion of the spring element is hereby used for adjusting the spring element optionally in one of the Einstellausappelgeber such that the second portion is supported in the clamping of the holding portion against the table top at a boundary of the respective Einstellausappelung.
- Such Einstellausappelausappel aus can be introduced in a comparatively simple and cost-effective manner in the body.
- a locking of the spring element in at least two discrete positions is also achieved here in a reliable, positive manner.
- the spring element has a third section.
- the main body is provided with a retaining recess into which the third portion of the spring element is at least partially insertable.
- a different sized part of the third portion is received in the retaining recess.
- the Einstellauslangausbianstead are arranged side by side along a direction which is substantially parallel to the holding recess.
- the spring element whose second portion can be positioned in this embodiment by moving the spring element along this direction for insertion into the selected Einstellausappelung. at the same time
- the third section for a more or less deep recording in the retaining recess in position.
- the second section of the spring element is arranged between the first section of the spring element and the third section of the spring element.
- the first section can be arranged, for example, in the vicinity of an unconstrained end of the spring element and by the positioning of the first, second and third sections relative to each other, the dependence of the spring force of a path to the first section when attaching the media strip on the Tabletop is moved out of its rest position, be set in the desired manner.
- the second section of the spring element is arranged closer to the third section than to the first section.
- the spring element between the second portion and the third portion is provided with a bend.
- the spring element can be bent by the bend in particular by an angle of more than 90 degrees.
- the spring element is designed as a leaf spring.
- the spring element can in this case be made of a suitable metal, for example a spring steel.
- the main body of the media strip spaced apart, supporting side elements and a wall element, wherein the side elements are adapted to receive end portions of the supply device. Furthermore, in this embodiment, the side elements are coupled together by means of the wall element. In this embodiment, it is not necessary to provide the media strip with a continuous inner frame.
- the media strip according to this embodiment is also advantageously mountable.
- the side elements each have a recess into which the edge of the table top can be inserted and which is partially bounded by a wall which forms the holding section.
- the side elements may be designed to support the supply device and, on the other hand, be dimensioned to be clamped on the table top by means of the holding section.
- the side elements of the supply device which act in use, so for example when inserting and pulling out, for example, of plugs or the like, forces, supported against the table top.
- the wall element can be designed as a relatively simple and lightweight component.
- the Einstellaus traditions and the retaining recess are arranged on one of the side elements. Also, the spring force when plugging the media strip under elastically resilient deformation of the spring element is applied, can be absorbed in this way by the supporting side elements.
- the media strip on at least two spring elements.
- At the side elements in each case at least two EinstellausEnglishept and a respective retaining recess are arranged to hold each one of the spring elements to an associated one of the side elements and support.
- the EinstellausEnglishept and the retaining recess may be formed here, as described in the above embodiments. This makes it possible to apply by the action of several spring elements on the second main surface of the table top when attaching the media bar a larger and better distributed spring force, which in turn can be supported on the supporting side elements.

- the formation of the lower wall substantially parallel to the underside of the table top and by the concerns of the corresponding holding portions in edge regions of a top or a bottom of the table top is working to Available surface of the table at a plugging the second media bar on the table top is not limited or reduced, but on the contrary still extended.
- the at least one recess in the upper wall allows the supply device to be supplied with the necessary media, for example with electric current, to supply the workstation without the supply device protruding substantially beyond the plane of the table top. As a result, it is also possible to push papers, files, folders or books over the edge of the table and also over the media bar when the media strip is inserted.
- the second media bar thus does not obstruct the work on the table top.
- the upper wall and the lower wall are substantially flat and substantially parallel to each other.
- the upper wall and the lower wall are coupled to each other via a front wall at a respective outer edge facing away from the associated holding section.
- the front wall in this case runs to the edge of the table top substantially parallel when the media strip is attached to the table top. This gives the media strip a shapely and aesthetic conclusion to the outside, can be grabbed well in the front wall by hand and plugged onto the table top, and receives additional stability.

Description
The present invention relates to an attachable to a table top of a table media bar. Furthermore, the invention relates to a table.
Although the present invention is applicable in the context of a variety of furniture with a plate-like work surface, for example with known tables, standing desks, drawing boards and the like, the present invention and the underlying problems will be described below with reference to a table, in particular a seminar or conference table, explained in more detail.
Today's conference, convention and seminar attendees are often reliant on having mostly electrical powered equipment, such as portable computers, in the workplaces available to them during such an event. The use, for example, of mobile communication devices such as mobile phones is widespread. Such work or communication devices often require not only a connection to the public power grid, but should also be connected to networks for data transmission, such as a local area network (LAN), a telephone network or similar media.
This means that these media preferably have to be provided at the individual workstations, which usually include a desk. Because himself but the configuration of the individual workstations, especially the tables, usually changed for different events, such media supply should not be permanently installed, but can be changed as flexibly as possible.
For this purpose, commercially available power strips are nowadays often laid under and next to the corresponding tables, which are connected to each other via cables. The resulting cable tangle not only looks unattractive and untidy, but can also represent a source of danger if the arrangement is unclean. In particular, subscribers may trip over the cables or tear them down by hanging on loosely laid cables on the tables. Furthermore, access to the appropriate media supply connections from the table is then extremely impractical.
A disadvantage of such a conventional solution for supplying a table with a desired medium, in the said connector strip with electric current, however, is that the connector strip must be clamped in a laborious manner with the aid of screws. To equip an arrangement of a larger number of tables in this way with connector strips takes a lot of time.
Weiter beschreiben die Dokumente
Es gilt, diesen Zustand zu verbessern. It is important to improve this condition.
Thus, the present invention has the object to improve the supply of a workplace, especially a seminar, conference or office desk, with the desired media such that on the one hand, the supply device that provides the media, well visible to the user and easily accessible is arranged and on the other hand, the high and time-consuming installation effort of conventional solutions is avoided.
This object is achieved by a media strip with the features of
- a base body having at least one holding portion, wherein the holding portion in a plugging the media strip on an edge of the table top with a first of the main surfaces is brought into abutment; and
- at least one spring element which is elastically resiliently deformable during the attachment of the media strip such that a first portion of the spring element can be brought into abutment with a second of the main surfaces and that for fixing the media strip to the Table top, the spring element by means of a spring force clamps the holding portion against the table top.
In the media strip according to the invention, the spring element for fixing the media strip is adjustable to table tops at least two different thicknesses.
The invention also provides a table having a table top on which such a media strip is attached.
The idea of the present invention is to bring about the fixation of the media strip on the table top by means of a spring element. By a spring force applied by the spring element, the media strip is reliably clamped to the table top as soon as it is plugged onto the edge of the table top. In this way, a simple and quick installation of the media bar is possible. The dismantling of the media bar can be done by simply pulling off the table top. Especially when setting up and dismantling a larger configuration of tables, for example, for a conference, which are all to be supplied with the desired media, for example, electric power, thereby much time can be saved. The adjustability of the spring element also advantageously allows a very flexible use of the media strip according to the invention. On tables with table tops of different thicknesses, the media strip can be plugged with the appropriately adjusted spring element, without the plugging would be difficult and cumbersome because of a thick table top or the clamping force would be insufficient for a thinner table top.
Advantageous embodiments and developments of the invention will become apparent from the other dependent claims in conjunction with the figures of the drawings.
In one embodiment, the first portion of the spring element is arranged opposite the holding portion. In this way, by exerting the spring force on the second main surface, the spring element can clamp the holding section particularly effectively against the first main surface of the table top.
In a further embodiment, for adjusting the spring element, a distance between the first portion of the spring element and the holding portion, measured in a state of the media bar, in which it is not attached to the table top, changeable. By changing the distance of the first portion of the holding portion, as measured in the unplugged state of the media bar, it can be achieved that the spring element is elastically resiliently deformed when mounting the media strip on table tops of different thicknesses in substantially the same way. After an approximately equal degree of elastic deformation can be achieved in this configuration thus at different thickness table tops, an approximately equal spring force can be exerted on the different thicknesses table tops. As a result, the media strip clamps with advantage reliably table tops of different thickness, each in about the same effort required for mounting.
According to a development, the spring element can be locked relative to the holding section in at least two positions relative to the holding section for setting the spring element. This is useful to prevent the spring element unintentionally adjusted when applied forces that cause the elastically resilient deformation of the spring element when attaching the media strip.
In an advantageous improvement of the base body is provided with at least two adjoining Einstellausnehmungen. A second portion of the spring element is hereby used for adjusting the spring element optionally in one of the Einstellausnehmungen such that the second portion is supported in the clamping of the holding portion against the table top at a boundary of the respective Einstellausnehmung. Such Einstellausnehmungen can be introduced in a comparatively simple and cost-effective manner in the body. A locking of the spring element in at least two discrete positions is also achieved here in a reliable, positive manner.
In an even more advantageous development, the spring element has a third section. The main body is provided with a retaining recess into which the third portion of the spring element is at least partially insertable. According to the selected Einstellausnehmung, in which the second portion of the spring element is inserted, in this case a different sized part of the third portion is received in the retaining recess. The inclusion of the third portion in the retaining recess thus contributes to each choice of Einstellausnehmung to a more stable support of the spring element and to initiate the spring force caused when plugging on the table top spring force in the base of the media strip.
In a preferred embodiment, the Einstellausnehmungen are arranged side by side along a direction which is substantially parallel to the holding recess. For adjusting the spring element whose second portion can be positioned in this embodiment by moving the spring element along this direction for insertion into the selected Einstellausnehmung. at the same time In this case, the third section for a more or less deep recording in the retaining recess in position.
According to a development, the second section of the spring element is arranged between the first section of the spring element and the third section of the spring element. In this way, the first section can be arranged, for example, in the vicinity of an unconstrained end of the spring element and by the positioning of the first, second and third sections relative to each other, the dependence of the spring force of a path to the first section when attaching the media strip on the Tabletop is moved out of its rest position, be set in the desired manner.
In a further development, the second section of the spring element is arranged closer to the third section than to the first section. In order to achieve a predetermined spring force with which the spring element is intended to effect the fixing of the media strip to the table top, it can thereby be achieved that the first section springs in by a comparatively long distance. The media strip can thereby be better placed on the table top and the spring element can, with unchanged setting, provide almost the same clamping force even with a slight variation of the thickness of the table top.
In a further development, the spring element between the second portion and the third portion is provided with a bend. The spring element can be bent by the bend in particular by an angle of more than 90 degrees. In particular, it is possible to arrange the retaining recess and the Einstellausnehmungen to save space.
In one embodiment of the invention, the spring element is designed as a leaf spring. The spring element can in this case be made of a suitable metal, for example a spring steel.
According to a further embodiment, the main body of the media strip spaced apart, supporting side elements and a wall element, wherein the side elements are adapted to receive end portions of the supply device. Furthermore, in this embodiment, the side elements are coupled together by means of the wall element. In this embodiment, it is not necessary to provide the media strip with a continuous inner frame. The media strip according to this embodiment is also advantageously mountable.
In a development, the side elements each have a recess into which the edge of the table top can be inserted and which is partially bounded by a wall which forms the holding section. On the one hand, the side elements may be designed to support the supply device and, on the other hand, be dimensioned to be clamped on the table top by means of the holding section. In this way, the side elements of the supply device, which act in use, so for example when inserting and pulling out, for example, of plugs or the like, forces, supported against the table top. On the other hand, the wall element can be designed as a relatively simple and lightweight component.
In an advantageous improvement, the Einstellausnehmungen and the retaining recess are arranged on one of the side elements. Also, the spring force when plugging the media strip under elastically resilient deformation of the spring element is applied, can be absorbed in this way by the supporting side elements.
In a preferred embodiment, the media strip on at least two spring elements. At the side elements in each case at least two Einstellausnehmungen and a respective retaining recess are arranged to hold each one of the spring elements to an associated one of the side elements and support. The Einstellausnehmungen and the retaining recess may be formed here, as described in the above embodiments. This makes it possible to apply by the action of several spring elements on the second main surface of the table top when attaching the media bar a larger and better distributed spring force, which in turn can be supported on the supporting side elements.
In one embodiment, a socket arrangement, in particular for the provision of connection possibilities to a power network and / or a communication network, is received at least in sections in an interior of the media strip as a supply device. The supply device is in this case accessible from an outside of the media strip for connecting communication devices or electrical consumers. By means of such a designed media strip, a table can be provided with a power supply and access to a communication network, creating a workplace that allows the comfortable use of, for example, electronic communication means, portable computers and the like.
Furthermore, in the present case, a second media strip which can be attached to a table top of a table and which has an upper and a lower wall is proposed. The upper wall and the lower wall each have a holding section. In the upper wall is provided at least one recess which serves to receive a supply device. The holding portions are arranged in the second media strip such that when plugging the media strip on one edge of the table top of the holding portion of the upper wall with an edge region of an upper side of the table top and the holding portion of the lower wall with an edge region of a bottom of the table top is brought into abutment , In this case, the upper wall extending substantially parallel to the top of the table top and the bottom wall substantially parallel to the underside of the table top, when the media bar is mounted on the table top.
In addition, a table is proposed with a table top, wherein on the table top such a second media strip is attached.
Due to the formation of the upper wall substantially parallel to the top of the table top, the formation of the lower wall substantially parallel to the underside of the table top and by the concerns of the corresponding holding portions in edge regions of a top or a bottom of the table top is working to Available surface of the table at a plugging the second media bar on the table top is not limited or reduced, but on the contrary still extended. The at least one recess in the upper wall allows the supply device to be supplied with the necessary media, for example with electric current, to supply the workstation without the supply device protruding substantially beyond the plane of the table top. As a result, it is also possible to push papers, files, folders or books over the edge of the table and also over the media bar when the media strip is inserted.
The second media bar thus does not obstruct the work on the table top.
In an advantageous embodiment of the second media strip, the upper wall and the lower wall are substantially flat and substantially parallel to each other. By attaching the media strip can be in this embodiment, a table top with substantially parallel to each other formed upper and lower sides and a flat work surface continue low over the edge of the table top addition.
In a further development of the second media strip, the upper wall and the lower wall are coupled to each other via a front wall at a respective outer edge facing away from the associated holding section. Preferably, the front wall in this case runs to the edge of the table top substantially parallel when the media strip is attached to the table top. This gives the media strip a shapely and aesthetic conclusion to the outside, can be grabbed well in the front wall by hand and plugged onto the table top, and receives additional stability.
In a further embodiment of the second media strip, the upper wall, the front wall and the lower wall are formed integrally with each other. As a result, the media strip can be made in a simple and convenient manner and also has no unaesthetic junctions between the top wall and the front wall and the bottom wall and the front wall.
Hierbei erstrecken sich die Seitenwände bevorzugt im Wesentlichen senkrecht zu der oberenAccording to one embodiment of the second media strip, the upper wall and the lower wall are coupled together via at least two side walls. In this case, the side walls preferably extend substantially perpendicular to the upper
Wall and to the bottom wall between these. The side walls thus stiffen the media strip and can additionally limit the media strip laterally in such a way that an interior space is formed, in which parts of the supply device, by means of which the media are provided, or also to the supply device to or from these leading away lines accommodated can be.
In a development of the second media strip, the holding sections facing edges of at least two of the side walls of a terminal edge of the holding portion of the upper wall and a terminal edge of the holding portion of the lower wall spaced such that a stop is formed, against which the edge of the table top when plugging the Media bar can be brought into this plant. This makes it possible aufzustecken the media strip in the manner on the table top, that their outer edges, which are facing away from the holding portions, have a defined distance and a defined orientation to the edge of the table top. As a result, it can be ensured, for example, that the media strip is attached at the same distance and with the same orientation to the table edge when constructing a table configuration, for example for a conference, on all tables provided with it, so that an overall aesthetic appearance results. It also ensures that a person who puts the media strip on the tabletop can easily see when the media bar has reached its fully mated position. This facilitates a secure and reliable fastening of the media strip to the table top.
In another embodiment of the second media strip, the lower wall is provided with at least one bead or at least one rib. The bead or rib is formed to plastically bend the holding portion prevents the bottom wall when repeatedly attaching the media strip on the table top. Preferably, the bead or the rib runs substantially perpendicular to the edge of the table top, when the media strip is attached to the table top. As a result, a robust and durable media bar is achieved, which can be well attached to the table top for a long time.
In a development of the second media strip, the bottom wall is provided with a recess arranged centrally along a longitudinal direction of the media strip. In this development, the recess is formed as a recess whose open side is directed towards the table top, when the media strip is attached to the table top. In this way, space for a possible substructure of the table, for example, a cross member, which may be connected in this area with the table top created. Furthermore, this material and weight can be saved, thereby reducing the cost and handling of the media bar can be improved.
In another advantageous embodiment of the second media strip extending from an edge of the recess in the upper wall, starting from further walls and / or elbows towards the lower wall. The further walls and / or angle pieces are provided in this embodiment for a position assurance of the supply device. As a result, the supply device in the recess of the upper wall can be securely held in the desired position. In particular, this can also be achieved a positive reception of the supply device between the other walls or elbows, when the size of the recess is matched to the size of the supply device.
In a further development of the second media strip, the further walls and / or angle pieces protrude into the recess in the lower wall, without being connected to their edges. This can be advantageously avoided to connect the other walls and / or elbows with the bottom wall. In addition, this results in the supply device a favorable margin for the arrangement and attachment of cables and the like. If the supply device has, for example, receptacles for connection plugs or the like on its underside or its side surfaces, convenient access to these can be ensured in this way.
In another embodiment of the second media strip, the lower wall also has a recess which is arranged opposite the recess in the upper wall and coincides with this in shape and size. In this embodiment, the edge of the recess in the lower wall is connected to the other walls and / or elbows. As a result, even more stability and rigidity can be given to the other walls and / or elbows and consequently also to the entire media strip.
In a further preferred refinement of the second media strip, it is provided that the further walls and / or angle pieces, in particular in the region of their ends facing the lower wall, have openings which are designed such that they engage with the media device in a latching manner Latches or clips of the supply device can be brought into engagement. The locking lug or clips can for example be attached or formed in the region of side surfaces of the supply device. This embodiment makes it possible to attach the supply device to the media strip in a simple and fast manner, without the ones used for this purpose Fasteners from the visible side of the media bar, so from above, would be visible.
In a further improvement of the second media strip at least a portion of at least one of the holding portions for clamping the table top between the holding portions is resiliently formed. In this way, the media bar is already fixed after plugging onto the table top at this, without wobbling or rattling.
In still further improvement of the second media bar, the holding portion of the bottom wall is made longer in a direction perpendicular to the edge of the table top than the holding portion of the top wall and thereby protrudes therefrom. This is advantageous because in this way the attachment of the media strip is simplified on the table top. For example, the holding portion of the bottom wall may be first applied to the edge of the table top from below before the holding portion of the top wall is brought into contact with the top of the table top. For this purpose, the media bar, for example, be kept slightly oblique. An inconvenient threading the table top between the holding sections is thereby avoided and plugging can be done easily and quickly.
In one embodiment of the second media strip, the holding section of the lower wall is provided with at least one threaded hole or, alternatively, with at least one threaded sleeve attached to the holding section. In the threaded hole or the threaded sleeve a clamping screw for clamping the media strip is screwed against the table top, preferably on a holding portion of the upper wall facing side of the holding portion of the lower wall, a clamping plate is provided which can be pressed by screwing the clamping screw to the table top. Through this Measure the media strip can be securely fixed by screwing the clamping screw to the table top. If the media bar is no longer needed on the table, then this fixation can also be easily solved again. By means of a clamping plate can be advantageously achieved a better distribution of the clamping force on the underside of the table top and scratching the underside of the table top can be avoided. A solution without a clamping plate can reduce the manufacturing costs.
In an embodiment of the second media strip, the recess in the lower wall extends along a portion of the lower wall whose length is between 65% and 75%, preferably about 70%, of the total length of the lower wall in the longitudinal direction of the media strip. As a result, a lot of space is created at the bottom of the media bar for the supply and removal of cables, while at the same time the holding portion of the lower wall can still be formed sufficiently large for a reliable attachment of the media strip.
According to a further improvement of the second media strip, one or more depressions or hollows for receiving paper clips, pens and the like are additionally provided in the upper wall. This eliminates the need to provide a separate pen holder or the like at the table. The desired recordings for such utensils can be provided simply by plugging the media strip on the table top. The construction of a workplace configuration is thereby considerably facilitated.
In another embodiment of the second media strip is on a top of the upper wall in addition a holder for a mobile communication device and / or a stand for a notebook and / or a container for receiving pins and / or a bookstand and / or a light for illuminating the table attached. In this way, for example when constructing a table configuration for equipping a conference room, each of the tables can be equipped with a handle by attaching the media strip with a selection of the aforementioned devices. It is then not necessary, for example, to place a notepad stand, a receptacle for receiving pens, a bookstand and a lamp separately on the table, for example. Thus, the construction of such a table configuration is facilitated, the available work surface on the table is not limited by all sorts of utensils, and a visually appealing and uniform appearance is achieved.
In a further improvement of the second media bar, a hook is provided in the region of the outer edge of either the upper wall or the lower wall, or in the region of the front wall, which protrudes outwardly away from the table edge, when the media strip is attached to the table top. The hook may be formed, for example, as a hook for holding a bag. This provides additional convenience to a user of the table.
In an advantageous development of the second media strip, a socket arrangement, in particular for providing connection possibilities to a power network and / or to a communication network, is inserted into the recess as a supply device. The socket assembly is mounted latching in this embodiment in the media bar and is accessible from the top of the upper wall for connecting communication devices or electrical consumers. Working with communication devices or electrically operated implements such as portable computers is greatly facilitated by this design, as a simple and clear access to the required connection options is provided from the top of the media bar ago.
In another embodiment of the second media strip, the supply device is additionally equipped with operating elements for controlling equipment of a conference room, such as lighting or ventilation.
In an advantageous development, the second media strip is made of a metal. A metal-made media strip is robust and durable.
In a further preferred development, the second media strip is made of a metal sheet, in particular a steel sheet, with a thickness between 1 and 2 mm and particularly preferably a thickness of 1.5 mm.
