Die Taumelscheibe 8 und die jeweiligen Laufradpaare bewirken, dass beide Führungsschlitten 4 und 7 antizyklisch und (anti-)periodisch bewegt. Somit wirkt der obere Schlitten 7 als Dämpfungsmittel 6 für die Vibrationen, welche im Betrieb durch den unteren Schlitten 4 bzw. durch das Messerblatt 3 verursacht werden. Dadurch, dass beide Schlitten symmetrisch aufgebaut sind, kann effektiv die Vibration des Elektromessers 1 reduziert werden, was automatisch zu einem sicheren Betrieb der Vorrichtung führt.
