Claims (9)

  1. Household appliance, with
    - an electric motor (4) and
    - at least one cover element (7) for the electric motor (4),
    characterised in that the at least one cover element (7), at least in subregions, consists of a composite material which contains at least one plastic and leather.
  2. Household appliance according to claim 1, characterised in that the household appliance is a floor cleaning appliance (1), wherein the cover element (7) is configured for guiding an air current.
  3. Household appliance according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the cover element (7) is configured to insulate noise and/or heat.
  4. Household appliance according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the composite material has leather fibres, which are embedded in the at least one plastic.
