The present invention relates to a household clothes treatment apparatus, and more particularly to a clothes drying apparatus, which includes a water tank in which a tumbler is mounted for accommodating clothes, an air channel connected to the water tank and including a section of drying tunnel for heating air, and a fixing device for fixedly connecting the drying tunnel and the water tank.
Clothes drying apparatuses are common in the field of household clothes treatment apparatuses. The clothes drying apparatus is an apparatus for drying wet clothes, which generally includes a clothes dryer and a clothes washer-dryer etc. A conventional clothes drying apparatus usually includes an outer shell forming a housing, a water tank located in the outer shell, a tumbler rotatably mounted in the water tank for accommodating clothes to be dried, a heating device for heating working air to a certain temperature to evaporate moisture in the clothes, a blast device for driving the working air to circulate, and a condensing device for condensing the moisture carried in the working air.
The heating device, the blast device, and the condensing device are all located in an air channel. One end of the air channel is connected to an air outlet of the water tank through a bellows, and the other end is connected to a sealing ring installed on the water tank. The bellows and the sealing ring are both made of relatively soft materials, and weight and volume of the air channel are relatively large, so a firm and reliable fixing device is required to fix the air channel on the water tank.
FIG. 1 shows a fixing manner widely used currently. As shown in FIG. 1 , a drying tunnel 102 formed as a part of the air channel 101 has two sides assembled to the water tank through sheet-shaped connection parts 104; the connection part 104, the drying tunnel 102, and the water tank 103 are respectively fixed each other via screws.
The above mentioned fixing manner has following disadvantages: during mass production, the accuracy of assembly and positioning cannot be completely consistent, that is to say, the relative position between the drying tunnel 102 and the water tank 103 cannot be completely consistent, and an assembly gap between the drying tunnel 102 and the water tank 103 may be too large or too small, such that the apparatus is difficult to assemble, and more seriously, a large assembly stress is generated, resulting in lower system strength.
In view of the above problems, the present invention is to provide clothes drying apparatus for overcoming the above disadvantages.
In order to achieve the objective, the present invention provides a clothes drying apparatus, which includes a water tank in which a tumbler is mounted for accommodating clothes, an air channel connected to the water tank and including a section of drying tunnel for heating air, and a fixing device for fixedly connecting the drying tunnel and the water tank. The fixing device is a bow-shaped structure, including one top portion and two side portions, in which the top portion spans the drying tunnel, and is connected to the drying tunnel, and the side portions are respectively located at two sides of the drying tunnel, and are connected to the water tank.
The clothes drying apparatus in the above structure has the following advantages: Since the fixing device in bow-shaped has a certain elasticity, it is adaptable to be mounted to the drying tunnel and the water tank with an assembly error there between, so as to greatly reduce the assembly stress, and ensure the assembly strength effectively. Meanwhile, the apparatus can be installed more conveniently. In addition, compared with the prior art, the structure of the present invention has less assembly parts, thereby simplifying the assembly procedure.
In accordance with a preferred embodiment of the present invention, a bent corner or an arc-shaped structure is connected between the top portion and the side portions of the fixing device. The corner or the arc-shaped structure forms a pivot of relative movement of the top portion and the side portions, such that the fixing device may adapt to slightly different installing conditions.
In accordance with another preferred embodiment of the present invention, the side portions have an elastic movement of a certain degree relative to the top portion, which may reduce the assembly stress as well.
In accordance with a further preferred embodiment of the present invention, the top portion of the fixing device includes at least one kidney-shaped hole, and a fixing part passes through the kidney-shaped hole, thereby connecting the top portion and the drying tunnel. The fixing device and the drying tunnel are fixed by the fixing part passing through the kidney-shaped hole; therefore, during the assembly procedure, a position of the fixing device may be adjusted according to actual relative positions of the drying tunnel and the water tank, such that the apparatus can be assembled more conveniently, and the assembly stress is further reduced.
As a further preferred embodiment of the previous preferred embodiment of the present invention, the kidney-shaped hole has an extending direction generally vertical to a longitudinal axis of the drying tunnel. Therefore, the fixing device may have a transverse displacement of a certain degree relative to the drying tunnel, thereby satisfying assembly demands.
In accordance with yet another preferred embodiment of the present invention, the top portion and at least one of the two side portions of the fixing device have bent reinforcing ribs disposed at edges thereof. The reinforcing ribs further enhance the strength of the fixing device.
In accordance with yet a further preferred embodiment of the present invention, the water tank has at least one support board installed on an outer side thereof, and at least one of the two side portions of the fixing device is fixedly connected to the support board.
