  • the lid 20 In use, after the lid 20 is opened for the first time it can be pivoted with respect to the base to the position shown in Figure 6 . As the lid approaches the base towards the position shown in Figure 6 the rib arrays 40, 45 interengage and interdigitate as shown best in Figure 9 .
  • the width of the ribs in the arrays and the spacing thereof are chosen to provide a tight fit so that the lid 20 is retained stably in the position shown in Figures 6 to 8 and resist movement away from this position which might be encouraged by resilience in the hinge straps 30.

Claims (10)

  1. Fermeture (10) présentant une base (15) et un couvercle (20) reliés par une charnière (30), le couvercle pouvant passer d'une position fermée à une position ouverte, caractérisée en ce que la base et le couvercle présentent chacun un réseau de protubérances espacées entre elles (40, 45) qui s'entrecroisent lorsque le couvercle est en position ouverte afin de retenir de manière stable le couvercle en position ouverte.
  2. Fermeture selon la revendication 1, où les protubérances comprennent des nervures (40, 45).
  3. Fermeture selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, où la retenue du couvercle est réversible.
  4. Fermeture selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, où les protubérances (40, 45) se trouvent dans la région de la charnière (30).
  5. Fermeture selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, comprenant en outre un moyen inviolable (36).
  6. Fermeture selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, où la base comprend une section de versement (17).
  7. Fermeture selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, où les protubérances dans chaque réseau augmentent en longueur vers le centre du réseau (40, 45).
  8. Fermeture selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, où la charnière comprend une paire de bandes (30).
