- a squib exerting detonator in an ignition chamber of a firework fuse.
- the ignition chamber a Anakiungsmasse is provided. Since according to this document the Anakiungsmasse by the user before, during and / or after inserting the fuse can be introduced, for example, by pouring, it should be a pourable ignition mass.
- At one in the DE 19 27 907 A1 described pyrotechnic ignition device is a function of a squib exerting electric bridge igniter housed within a substantially cylindrical sleeve made of cardboard or plastic.
- the bridge igniter is associated with a Anakiungsmasse, which may be mounted inside or outside of the sleeve and strengthen the more or less weak ignition of the bridge igniter in.
- the sleeve is immersed, for example, with its end facing away from the bridge detonator in a moist mixture of black powder and binder, such as dextrin and pulled out again, then the adhering to the sleeve coating is dried, so that the black powder-binder mixture the front Sleeve end in a disadvantageous way can seal prophy.
- a firing device firing device described is housed in a sleeve a pressed ignition charge of potassium nitrate and magnesium powder.
- an igniter compound which may consist of a loose mixture of lead, silenium, magnesium and potassium nitrate.
- an igniter compound which may consist of a loose mixture of lead, silenium, magnesium and potassium nitrate.
- the squib 5 is used exclusively for ignition of the compressed Anzündcharge. In such a fireworks, the ignition is almost free of ignition, ie done instantaneously.
- the invention has for its object to provide an improved connector body for an ignition system and thus an improved ignition system that ignites the pyrotechnic articles reliably and is still simple.
- Anakiungsmasse which consists of at least two components, which are applied in two layers on the inner wall of the connecting body is a reliable positioning of the two Anakiungsmasse components and thus ensures a reliable, especially safe ignition of the ignition system.

- the relative allocation of the two Anakiungsmasse components ensures reliable ignition of the fuse.
- the squib which is at the beginning of the ignition, produces an extremely short firing temperature of 1000 degrees Celsius over a period of 20 ms. This results in a firing rate of 20 seconds.
- the next higher ignition stage is formed by the first component, namely in particular a black powder component which is ignited directly by the squib.
- the black powder burns, for example, during half a second at a temperature of 800 degrees Celsius, resulting in a firing performance of 400 seconds, which is twenty times the ignition performance of the squib.
- the black powder charge in turn ignites a second component, namely, in particular, a Bengal paste, which has a relatively large-area contact with the fuse. The Bengal paste is safely ignited in the above-mentioned ignition performance of the black powder.
- the Bengal paste burns over a period of 8 seconds at a temperature of about 600 degrees Celsius. This would correspond to a firing rate of 4800 seconds, which corresponds to about twelve times the ignition power of the black powder. This high ignition performance ensures that the fuse is burned safely, so that reliable firing of fireworks or, when connected to an explosive device, the ignition of the explosive device is reliable.

In the known connecting bodies, a reliable skipping of a spark from the squib to the fuse of a pyrotechnic article is not guaranteed. In the systems in which the user is intended to envelop a priming mass in the connecting body, there is a certain degree of danger.
The invention has for its object to provide an improved connector body for an ignition system and thus an improved ignition system that ignites the pyrotechnic articles reliably and is still simple.
- This object is achieved by the features according to the characterizing part of patent claim 1.
By the use of a Anfeuerungsmasse, which consists of at least two components, which are applied in two layers on the inner wall of the connecting body is a reliable positioning of the two Anfeuerungsmasse components and thus ensures a reliable, especially safe ignition of the ignition system.
Preferred embodiments of the invention are dealt with in subclaims.
The ignition performance of a squib is sufficient to ignite the first faster ignitable Anfeuerungsmassen component by a short time sparks to then ignite the less rapidly igniting component, in which the burning takes at least until the fuse has reliably ignited. The relative allocation of the two Anfeuerungsmasse components ensures reliable ignition of the fuse.
For example, the squib, which is at the beginning of the ignition, produces an extremely short firing temperature of 1000 degrees Celsius over a period of 20 ms. This results in a firing rate of 20 seconds. The next higher ignition stage is formed by the first component, namely in particular a black powder component which is ignited directly by the squib. The black powder burns, for example, during half a second at a temperature of 800 degrees Celsius, resulting in a firing performance of 400 seconds, which is twenty times the ignition performance of the squib. The black powder charge in turn ignites a second component, namely, in particular, a Bengal paste, which has a relatively large-area contact with the fuse. The Bengal paste is safely ignited in the above-mentioned ignition performance of the black powder.
The Bengal paste burns over a period of 8 seconds at a temperature of about 600 degrees Celsius.
The two components are preferably applied in a strip-shaped configuration on the inner wall of the connecting body.
In preferred embodiments, the firing mass may fill the entire inside length of the preferably tubular connecting body or extend at least along the inner shell area over the entire length between the squib and the fuse.
Preferably, the first component consists essentially of black powder.
Preferably, the second component essentially contains Bengal paste or matchstick paste.
The component with the high burning power, preferably Bengal paste, adheres directly to the inside of the connecting body. Applied to this and in firing contact with the squib, the first component, preferably in the form of a black powder layer, is present.
The connecting body may preferably also accommodate a plurality of fuses. For this purpose, the interior of the cavity of the ignition tube may be provided with webs which extend from the inner edge region of the tube radially in the direction of the center of the tube and are coated with Bengalpaste. These areas are also consistently connected to Bengal paste, which are directly adjacent to the first component, so that they can be ignited.
Der Verbindungskörper ist vorzugsweise in seiner Längsrichtung aufklappbar, wobei ein Rastmechanismus vorgesehen sein kann, der wenn eingerastet, die Geschlossenstellung desThe connecting body is preferably hinged in its longitudinal direction, wherein a latching mechanism may be provided which, when engaged, the closed position of the
Ensures connecting body. This construction has the advantage that the one or more fuses can be inserted in peace, their position can be checked and, as it were, the squib also inserted and their position can also be checked. If the fireman then decides to detonate another firework by this ignition system, he can reopen the detent and remove the fuse, making the arrangement much more flexible in handling by the fireman.
Preferably, the Anfeuerungsröhrchen invention consists of transparent plastic and both ignition components are colored differently colored. Thereby, a visual check is possible as to whether the squib is in intimate contact with the first component and the fuse in intimate contact with the second component, and whether the first component and the second component are also in intimate contact with each other, so that a respective Combustion between the squib and the first component or first component and second component and second component and fuse is present.
