Dabei wird das zumindest eine Sicherheitsmerkmal 37 drucktechnisch eingebracht. Dabei kann das zumindest eine Sicherheitsmerkmal mittels Hoch-, Flach-, Tief-, Durch- oder Digitaldruck sowie durch Lasergravur auf die wenigstens eine zweite Schicht 33 aufgebracht werden. Diese zumindest eine zweite Schicht 33 besteht aus einem von der ersten Schicht 31 unterschiedlichen Kunststoff. Nach Aufbringen des zumindest einen Sicherheitsmerkmals 37 wird die zweite Schicht 33 auf die erste Schicht 31 aufgebracht, wobei sich die erste Schicht 31 und die zweite Schicht 33 über den Datenbereich 24, den Nahtbereich 26 und Laschenbereich 29 erstrecken. Anschließend wird wenigstens eine dritte Schicht 35 auf die zweite Schicht 33 und/oder zwischen die erste und die zweite Schicht 31, 33 aufgebraucht, wobei die wenigstens eine dritte Schicht 35 aus einem mit dem Kunststoff der ersten und/oder zweiten Schicht 31, 33 mischbaren Kunststoff besteht und sich nur über den Datenbereich 24 erstreckt. Dieser schichtweise Aufbau der ersten, zweiten und dritten Schicht 31, 33 und 35 kann bspw. in fachüblicher Weise kontinuierlich, quasikontinuierlich oder diskontinuierlich zusammengetragen und ausgerichtet werden. Nach dem die einzelnen Schichten 31, 33, 35 in vorgegebener definierter Weise zueinander positioniert sind, werden diese durch eine Lamination sicher miteinander verbunden. Bevorzugt ist eine Plattenlamination vorgesehen. Anschließend kann der Verbund aus der ersten Schicht 31, der zumindest einen zweiten Schicht 33 und der zumindest einen dritten Schicht 35 auf ein Endformat gestanzt werden. Claims (15)

  1. A data page for a book-like document, in particular a document of value and/or security document which has a first layer (31) made of a thermoplastic material and at least one second layer (33) which is interconnected with the first layer (31) and comprises a data area (24), a seam area (26) for accommodating a seam (16) designed to incorporate the data page (17) into the book-like document (11), and a tab area (29) adjoining the seam area (26) and opposing the data area (24), characterised in that at least one security feature (37) extends continuously across at least part of the data area (24), the seam area (26) and the tab area (29).
  2. The data page as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the at least one security feature (37) consists of at least three sections (38), with at least one first section (38) extending over at least part of the data area (24), at least one second section (38) extending over at least part of the seam area (26) and at least one third section (38) extending over at least part of the tab portion (29), and preferably each section (38) of the at least one security feature (37) is provided, in the data area (24), the seam area (26), and the tab area (29), with at least one individualised and/or personalised item of Information which is preferably integrated in its entirety.
  3. The data page as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the first layer (31) consists of a thermoplastic resin which is interconnected with the at least one second layer (33) that consists of a thermoplastic resin different from that of the first layer (31) and in that preferably the at least one security feature (37) as well as the first and the at least one second layers (31, 33) extend over the data area, seam area, and tab area (24, 26, 29) and in that preferably the at least one security feature (37) is provided on an inner side and/or an outer side of the at least one second layer (33).

The data page as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that at least one third layer (35) is provided which is connected with the first layer (31), the at least one second layer (33), or is inserted between and interconnected with the first and second layers (31, 33), the at least one third layer (35) extending only over the data area (24) and consisting preferably of some plastic material capable of being mixed with the plastic material of the first and/or the at least one second layers (31, 33).
  5. The data page as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the first layer (31) is formed of a thermoplastic elastomer.
  6. The data page as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the second layer (33) consists of at least one polymer layer made of identical or various different base polymers formed from the group consisting of "polycarbonate, in particular bisphenol A polycarbonate, polyethylene glycol terephthalate and modifications thereof, in particular PET-G and PET-F, polyacrylates, in particular polymethyl methacrylate, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyimide or poly-trans-isoprene, polyvinyl chloride and copolymers as well as block copolymers of such polymers, and coextruded materials made from these polymers".
  7. The data page as claimed in claim 4, characterised in that the third layer (35), which is formed as a protective layer, is selected from a group consisting of "polycarbonate, in particular bisphenol A polycarbonate, polyethylene glycol terephthalate and modifications thereof, in particular PET-G and PET-F, polyacrylates, in particular polymethyl methacrylate, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyimide or poly-trans-isoprene, polyvinyl chloride and copolymers as well as block copolymers of such polymers, and coextruded materials from these polymers".
  8. The data page as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that at least the first layer (31) comprises at least one electronic component, in particular a transponder module (32), and/or at least one diffractive security element.
  9. A method of fabricating a data page as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 8, wherein
    - a first layer (31) made of thermoplastic resin is provided; and
    - at least one second layer (33) made of thermoplastic resin is applied on the first layer (31);
    characterised in that
    - prior to or after connecting the at least one second layer (33) to the first layer (31), at least one security feature (37) is applied or incorporated which extends in an at least continuous manner over at least part of the data area (24), the seam area (26) and the tab area (29).
  10. The method as claimed in claim 9, characterised in that prior to applying the at least one second layer (33) on the first layer (31), the security feature (37), which extends within sections (38) over at least the data, seam, and tab areas (24, 26, 29), respectively, is applied on an inner side, on an outer side or on an inner side and on an outer side of the at least one second layer (33).
  11. The method as claimed in claim 10, characterised in that the at least one security feature (37) is applied by means of letter press printing, flat printing, gravure printing, screen printing, or digital printing and/or by means of laser engraving.
  12. The method as claimed in claim 9, characterised in that after applying the at least one second layer (33) on the first layer (31), the one section (38) of the security feature (37) which extends at least partially over the data, seam, and tab areas (24, 26, 29), respectively, is incorporated into, or applied on, the second layer (33), and in that preferably the at least one security feature (37) is applied by means of laser engraving.
  13. The method as claimed in any one of claims 9 to 12, characterised in that on the first and the at least one second layer (31, 33) that together extend over the data, seam, and tab areas (24, 26, 29), at least one third layer (35) is provided that is applied on the first layer (31) and/or the at least one second layer (31, 33) and/or between the first and the at least one second layers (31, 33), said third layer (35) extending only over the data area (24), and in that preferably the first layer (31), the at least one second layer (33) and/or the at least one third layer (35) are interconnected to one another all-over by means of a lamination process.
  14. A book-like document, in particular an identification document, with a binding (12) or cover, with at least one data page (17) sewn to the binding (12), to the cover, or on the end paper of the binding (12) or cover by means of a seam (16), said data page (17) having a data area (24), an adjoining seam area (26) for accommodating the seam (16), and a tab (28) that comprises a tab area (29) adjoining the seam area (26) and opposing the data area (24), and with at least one security feature (37), characterised in that at least one data page (17) as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 8 is provided.
  15. A method of fabricating a book-like document (11) as claimed in claim 14, characterised in that at least one data page (17) fabricated in accordance with any one of claims 1 to 8 is sewn to the binding (12) or to the cover or to an end paper arranged on the binding (12) by means of a seam (16) provided in the seam area (26).
