- Explosive Ordnance Disposal Equipment E shown on the figure 1 , is preferably associated with a motorized armored vehicle 2 intended, among other missions, securing pathways such as tracks, roads, etc ... in areas at risk. And the purpose of this equipment 1 is to neutralize more particularly explosive devices E whose activation is controlled by a wired link LF. It has thus been represented by a dotted line on the figure 1 , one of these gear E buried in the track P taken by the vehicle 2 and which is derived from the wire connection LF of the electric cable type. This link LF is also hidden in the ground and is generally arranged transversely to the P track to end, remotely, to a controllable detonator.
- the vehicle 2 carrying the neutralization equipment 1 is piloted by a crew including a driver, but it could be without pilot and remotely controlled in the manner of a robot. Furthermore, although logically placed at the front of the vehicle 2, the neutralization equipment 1 could be located laterally to the latter, or even to the rear.
- the neutralization equipment 1 illustrated schematically comprises a tool 3 for acting on the wire connection LF of the machine E to section and, according to the invention, the tool 3 is in the form of a claw 4 which the free end 5 enters the ground to hook the wire link LF and break as a result of the advance of the vehicle 2 on the P track.
- the claw 4 follows parallel thereto and is disposed in a plane perpendicular to the ground, that is to say vertical, by producing a groove SL. And it is deported in front of and laterally with respect to the vehicle traveling on the track P in which the explosive devices E can be buried, to be brought into one of the lateral zones Z to the vehicle.
- a zone Z as shown by figure 1 , is between the corresponding lateral side CL of the vehicle and a relief, not shown, such as an embankment, ditch, etc ..., naturally limiting the track and therefore the extension of the tool, so that the claw is often on the roadside, the edge or the shoulder of the path.
- the equipment 1 comprises, in the embodiment illustrated in FIG. figure 1 , an elongated support 6 which is, on one side, articulated about axes 7 to the two usual towing or coupling rings 8 integral with the armored front plate 9 of the vehicle 2, and carries, on the other side, the work tool 3. More particularly, the elongated support 6 consists of a beam arm 10, which is arranged transversely to the vehicle 2 and away from the front face 9 of the latter by two parallel connecting elements 11 forming spacer and perpendicularly connecting the arm 10 to the two rings 8 of the front of the vehicle. These connecting elements 11, combined with the length of the arm 10, allow to distance, at a sufficient distance, the claw 4 of the vehicle to act on the lateral zone Z of the P-track.
- the tool 3 furthermore comprises a gripper holder 12 for connection to the offset arm 10.
- This gripper holder can be integral with the claw 4 ( Figures 1 to 3 ) or form a support handle for mounting the claw ( Figures 4 to 6 ), by its end opposite to that tapered penetrating the ground.
- the shape of the claw can be folded ( figures 1 and 4 ), curved ( figures 2 , 3 , 5 and 6 ) or other and its profile, rotated in the direction of advance of the vehicle to the wired links to be cut, can of course be relatively sharp to facilitate their break.
- the depth of insertion of the claw into the ground S optimized by its shape and its profile, is of the order of a few centimeters and makes it possible to hang the concealed wire connection LF and to break it by the "shock" drive due to vehicle advance 2.
- the neutralization equipment 1 comprises several specific means which are described below.
- fuse separation means 15 are provided on the equipment 1.
- these fusible means 14 are obtained by a dedicated interface 15 with calibrated fuse screws 16, arranged at the level of the offset transverse arm 10, near the claw tool 3.
- This interface 15 consists of two integral plates 17, 18 respectively of the arm 10 and its end 19 in this example and associating them by the fusible screws 16.
- the end 19 could be the tool holder itself.
- the broken fusible screws 16 are then simply replaced by new screws to reassemble the arm 10 and the tool 3 of the neutralization equipment 1.
- Lifting means 20 of the claw tool are also provided on the equipment 1 so as to bring the tool 3 from an active down position to an inactive high position when not in use, waiting by example, or even to cross a major obstacle (rock) located on Zone Z.
- the lifting means 20 are defined by a jack or the like 21 of the fluidic or electric type, mounted between the elongate support 6 and the claw tool 3 4, which support 6 and tool 3 are then hinged together around a horizontal axis 22, parallel to the vehicle.
- the offset arm 10 of the support 6 terminates in a yoke 23 in which an elongate end 25, which may be that of the arm 10 or the gripper holder 12, is articulated around the axis 22. Fuses 14 between these are further illustrated.
- the cylinder 26 of the jack 21 is connected, by a horizontal hinge pin 27, to a clevis 28 of the arm, while its rod 29 is mounted around an axis of articulation also horizontal 30 parallel to the other 22 and 27 at a clevis 31 provided on the end 25.
- Means 34 for driving the claw 4 of the tool 3 into the ground S are also provided on the equipment 1.
- the tool 3 and, more particularly, the gripper holder 12 is made of an elastically deformable material, so that, by the elasticity of the tool, the claw 4 has a spontaneous tendency to penetrate the soil by reaction, following the deformation of the claw holder when the tip 5 of the claw sinks into the ground.
- the claw holder 12 in one piece with the claw can be made from a steel or composite blade, or from a spring wire.
- the tool 3 can escape elastically towards the rear, with respect to the advance of the vehicle, when the claw abuts an obstacle (stone, root, 7), which allows to clear the claw, which is repositioned in the ground once the obstacle crossed, again by the elasticity of the tool.
- the driving means 34 are defined by an elastic actuating member 36 which presses the claw 4 into the ground S.
- the tool 3 is mounted at the end of the end 37 of the transverse offset arm 10 of the support 6 around a horizontal axis of articulation 38, extending in this direction the end 37.
- the actuating member 36 is a combined spring-damper 39 connected by hinge pins 40, 41 parallel to the axis 38, respectively to a yoke 42 extending perpendicularly to the end 37 of the transverse arm 10 and a yoke 43 from the gripper holder 12.
- This combined damping spring 39 imposes on the tool 3 and in particular on its claw 4 a rotational movement (arrow F1) around the axis 38 tending to make the tip 5 of the claw penetrate the ground.
- the claw 4 can be erased by the opposite rotation of the tool around the axis 38 and return spontaneously elastically under the action of the handset 39 to the ground by engaging in it sufficiently deeply.
- the claw 4 of the tool 3 if it can be monobloc with the claw holder 12, as on the Figures 1 to 3 , can be dismountable especially to be changed as a result of its wear to make the furrow in a soil often hard.
- fasteners 45 represented by their axes on the flat claw holder 12, as on the figure 4 , or engaged by its end 46 opposite the active end 5, in the claw holder 12 and held in place therein by fasteners 47, snap-fastening or the like etc .., as on the figure 5 .
- the shape of the claw tool 3 can vary from one embodiment to another in the figures, the essential being that the claw 4, removable or not, penetrates sufficiently into the ground S for realize the SL furrow in the manner of a share and cut the wire connection LF buried gear E.
- the neutralization equipment 1 is mounted directly on the structure or front plate 9 of the vehicle.
- this equipment 1 may be associated with a rolling stock 50 coupled to the front plate of the vehicle 2 and carrying, on its transverse beam structure 51, other neutralization equipment not shown explosive devices but triggered by pressure, heat or whatever.
- Such equipment coupled to an armored vehicle is, for example, described in the patent application. FR 08 06923 ; published without number FR 2939504 .
- the mass of this rigid material ensures the depression of the claw 4 in the ground.
- the driving depth thereof can be adjusted by the position of the tool 3, or the claw holder on the support leg 52 connecting the wheel shown 53 to the beam structure 51 via a hinge 54.
- the gripper holder 12 is thus pre-adjusted with respect to the leg 52 so that the free tip end 5 of the claw 4 penetrates into the ground with the desired depth (a few centimeters), when the equipment 50 rolls on the track by its wheels 53.
- the figure 7 the lateral offset arm 10 and the working tool 3 (the tool holder in this case) of the equipment are combined into one single piece 60.
- This one-piece piece 60 is in the form of an arcuate blade 61 elastically deformable, made for example of steel.
- a tip 5 terminating the claw 4 is attached, by fasteners 62, to the free end 63 of the arcuate blade, the other end 64 is intended to be attached to the vehicle.
- the one-piece elastic piece 60 makes it possible, on the one hand, to support the claw 4 with point 5 in the ground S and, on the other hand, to disengage the blade 61 from the zone Z of the track, by its elasticity, when the pointed claw sunk in the ground meets a rigid obstacle (rock, stump, etc.)
- the tool 3 could comprise two (or more) claws 4 arranged in series one behind the other, in the same plane.
- the second claw can be advantageously more acute and narrow, and acting in the groove made by the first, ensures the breaking of the wire link.
- the two claws 4 of the tool 3 could be mounted in parallel so that, here too, the efficiency of the neutralization equipment 1 is optimized.
- the latter equipped with its various means and follows the relief encountered from the side of the track to be controlled, so that the contact between the claw tool and the ground is ensured continuously to hang the wire rope cable explosive devices and severing them as a result of the advance of the vehicle by neutralizing them before the passage of the vehicle.

Description
The present invention relates to equipment for neutralizing explosive or similar devices buried in the ground and remotely controlled by a wired link such as electrical, and a vehicle for securing routes (roads, tracks, etc.). ) and on which is mounted said neutralization equipment.
The proliferation of IED equipment for improvised explosive devices, especially in conflict areas, is known to pose an increasingly dangerous and growing threat to people (military or civilian) and vehicles traveling on roads and highways. tracks where they are hidden. In fact, these improvised explosive devices are made relatively simply and artisanally, from components and / or mechanisms readily available commercially and diverted from their initial use, to design including their means of arming and firing, which tripping can be effected, depending on the type of gear, pressure, heat, or remote wired link in particular or radiocontrol.
The object of the invention is to treat the remotely controlled explosive devices by a wired connection of the electric type, connecting the explosive charge buried in the ground in the track and a controllable detonator remote from the load.
To date, no equipment is able to deal effectively with this threat except for military patrols prudently using the track to secure it, which is a long and particularly exposed operation.
Indeed, the existing equipment is poorly suited to this type of wired gear.
- Remote electronics detection equipment is ineffective on this threat that can work very well without any electronics, only one electric detonator is enough.
- Visual detection is also ineffective because the load is buried under the road, for example, in a pothole. The firing wire is completely concealed and invisible to a vehicle crew traveling on the road.
- Wire detection equipment is also not useful because the existing ones are derived from hand-held metal detectors, which require a slow speed and a relative sweeping height.
These means are therefore unsuitable for a mission that consists of securing a road or a runway without exposing dismounted military personnel.
It is therefore realized that the work of such a robot, if it is effective, is particularly long (important intervention time) and meticulous to succeed in clearing and then remotely placing the cables in the knife jaws, and can only be operational on detected point targets. In this way, it can not be used to secure routes on long distances given the time needed to neutralize each explosive device.
The present invention aims to overcome these disadvantages, and relates to a neutralization equipment whose design allows to effectively deal with explosive devices wire bond securely and quickly, without exposing personnel.
- said tool is in the form of at least one end claw adapted to penetrate the ground to hook said wire link and break it by the movement of said tool, and, with respect to the direction of advance suitable for be imposed by the vehicle, said claw tool is offset laterally so that the latter is brought into one of the lateral areas of the vehicle, being in a plane substantially perpendicular to the ground,
- it comprises an elongate support at the end of which is mounted said claw tool for laterally displacing it on said selected lateral zone, and which is in the form of an arm which is able, on one side, to be connected transversely to the vehicle and to which is associated, on the other side, said claw tool, and
- said tool comprises a claw holder whose connection with the arm and / or the claw is of the removable type.
Thus, thanks to the invention, the claw produces in the ground a continuous groove in the manner of a plow agricultural equipment, to identify the wire links running transversely to the trail of explosive devices, and to cut these wire links by following the advance of the vehicle when the equipment is associated with the latter, by neutralizing said gear before the passage of the vehicle. The latter buried in the ground of the track are then identified by the broken wire link and withdrawn.
Such neutralization equipment is therefore lightweight design and can quickly secure a route (track, road, ...) vis-à-vis this type of explosive devices wired link. The claw is further simply changed after wear.
Furthermore, the equipment comprises means for driving the claw into the ground so that it acts on a sufficient depth.
In a first example, said driving means are defined by the same elasticity of said tool and / or said elongated support, able to spontaneously force the claw into the ground by reaction.
Advantageously, said elongate support and said claw holder are made of a single elastically deformable blade.
Notamment lorsque ce dernier est monté sur un matériel roulant muni d'autres équipements de détection d'engins du type massique, thermique, etc...In a second example, said driving means are defined by the intrinsic mass of said equipment. In particular when the latter is mounted on a rolling stock equipped with other equipment detection equipment mass type, thermal, etc ...
In a third example, said driving means are defined by an elastic actuator mounted between the elongate support and the claw tool, said support and tool being connected to each other by a hinge pin around which can rotate the claw tool.
Preferably, said actuating member is a spring-shock absorber or the like.
In addition, the equipment may comprise means for raising the claw tool relative to the ground. For example, said lifting means comprise a control cylinder or the like respectively mounted between the elongate support and the claw tool, said supports and tool being connected to each other about an axis of articulation.
The equipment may also include fuse means capable of separating the claw tool from the rest of the equipment, which avoids damaging the vehicle in the event that the tool is blocked by an obstacle. They can be, for example, defined by an interface with calibrated fusible screws, arranged on the support extended at one of the links thereof to the claw tool or the vehicle.
The equipment may also include means for limiting the depth of insertion of the claw into the ground.
In a particular embodiment, said limiting means comprise at least one wheel to which said claw tool is connected and whose contact with the ground serves as a stop limiting the depression of the claw in the ground.
In a variant, said limiting means comprise at least one flat element in the form of a ski which is connected to said claw tool and whose contact with the ground acts as an abutment limiting the depression of the claw in the ground.
Furthermore, to optimize the detection and the neutralization of wired connection explosive devices, said tool may comprise at least two claws arranged in series one behind the other or at least two claws arranged in parallel.
The invention also relates to the vehicle for securing routes such as roads, tracks or the like, which may include explosive devices or the like buried in the ground and remotely controlled by a wire link. Advantageously, it comprises at least one neutralization equipment as defined above.
The vehicle may be of the driver-driven type or of the remote-controlled type.

In this example, the
Also, to ensure optimal and safe operation, the
For example, to ensure protection between the vehicle structure and the tool in case the claw is blocked by an obstacle (relief too rigid or abrupt so that it can escape spontaneously), fuse separation means 15 are provided on the
One could also consider providing these fusible means 14 at the connecting
It is thus understood that the retraction (or the exit) of the
Again, in the event of an obstacle, the
In this mounting example of the
In place of the wheels, or in addition to them, provision may be made, to limit the depression of the claw, one or flat elements in the form of ski (not shown), related to the beam structure and "sliding On the floor of the track so as to define an adjustable stop for the depth of the claw.
In alternative embodiments not shown, the
The latter equipped with its various means and follows the relief encountered from the side of the track to be controlled, so that the contact between the claw tool and the ground is ensured continuously to hang the wire rope cable explosive devices and severing them as a result of the advance of the vehicle by neutralizing them before the passage of the vehicle.
