Description
The invention relates to a deep-ear canal hearing instrument, in particular a hearing aid, for carrying deep in the ear canal of a user.
Hearing instruments can be designed as hearing aids. A hearing aid is used to supply a hearing-impaired person with acoustic ambient signals that are processed and amplified for compensation or therapy of the respective hearing impairment. It consists in principle of one or more input transducers, of a signal processing device, of an amplification device, and of an output transducer. The input transducer is typically a sound receiver, e.g. a microphone, and / or an electromagnetic receiver, e.g. an induction coil. The output signal generator is usually as an electroacoustic transducer, z. As miniature speaker, or as an electromechanical transducer, z. B. bone conduction, realized. He is also referred to as a handset or receiver. The output signal generator generates output signals that are routed to the patient's ear and are intended to produce a hearing perception in the patient. The amplifier is usually integrated in the signal processing device. The hearing aid is powered by a battery integrated into the hearing aid housing. The essential components of a hearing aid are usually arranged on a printed circuit board as a circuit carrier or connected thereto.
Hearing instruments can be designed as a hearing aid, which is the compensation of a weakened or impaired hearing, commonly referred to as deafness, may also be designed as a so-called tinnitus masker. Tinnitus maskers are used to treat tinnitus patients. They produce from the respective hearing impairment and depending on the principle of action also dependent on ambient noise acoustic Output signals that may contribute to reducing the perception of annoying tinnitus or other ear noises. In the following, the term hearing instrument should also be understood tinnitus masker and other such devices.
Hearing aids are known in various basic housing configurations. In the case of ITE hearing aids (in-the-ear, in-ear), a housing containing all the functional components, including the microphone and receiver, is mostly worn in the ear canal. Completely-in-Canal (CiC) hearing aids are similar to the IdO hearing aids, but are fully worn in the ear canal. In BTE hearing aids (behind-the-ear, behind-the-ear) a housing with components such as battery and signal processing device behind the ear is worn and a flexible sound tube, also referred to as tube, directs the acoustic output signals of a receiver from the housing to the ear canal. RiC-BtE hearing aids (receiver-in-canal behind-the-ear) are similar to BTE hearing aids, but the receiver is worn in the ear canal and instead of a sound tube, a flexible earpiece tube conducts electrical signals instead of acoustic signals to the receiver, which is at the front of the earpiece tube is appropriate. All housing configurations have in common is that as small a housing as possible be sought in order to increase the comfort and to reduce the visibility of the hearing aid for cosmetic reasons.
Deep-ear canal hearing aids are similar to the CiC hearing aids. However, while CiC hearing aids are typically worn in the outer portion of the external ear canal, deep ear canal hearing aids are advanced further toward the eardrum and at least partially supported in the inward portion of the external ear canal. The outer ear canal is a skin-lined canal connecting the pinna to the eardrum. In the outer, distal part of the ear canal, which connects directly to the auricle, this channel is formed of elastic cartilage. In the inner, proximal part of the channel is formed by the temporal bone and thus consists of bone. Of the The cartilaginous and bony parts of the ear canal are slightly bent towards each other so that they enclose a different angle from person to person. In particular, the bony part of the ear canal is relatively sensitive to pressure and contact. Deep-ear canal hearing aids are at least partially worn in the delicate bony part of the ear canal. When advancing into the bony part of the ear canal, they must also pass the mentioned kink, which can be difficult depending on the angle of the kink. In addition, small diameter and tortuous shapes of the ear canal can further complicate advancement. Deep-ear canal hearing aids must therefore be very small.

The object of the invention is to provide a deep-ear canal hearing instrument that is inexpensive to manufacture and use, which has a small size, and comfortable deep in the ear canal, especially in the bony part of the ear canal is to be worn.
The invention solves this problem by a hearing instrument having the features of the independent claim.
A basic idea of the invention consists in a hearing instrument for carrying its ear canal with a housing, a signal processing device, and a receiver. The signal processing device is arranged in the housing. The receiver is partially disposed in the housing and partially outside the housing.
The fact that the receiver is only partially arranged in the housing, so it is not completely enclosed by the housing. Thus, the housing can be made smaller overall. In the area in which the receiver is arranged outside the housing, eliminates the double wall in the form of the receiver wall on the one hand and the housing wall on the other hand, which also helps to reduce the size. In particular, in the proximal to the bearing portion of the hearing instrument, which can be introduced as intended into the bony part of an ear canal, any reduction in size is helpful to facilitate the insertion of the hearing instrument and irritation in this sensitive part of the ear canal by permanently wearing the hearing instrument in it. In addition, the only partially provided inside the housing arrangement of the receiver depending on the design allow a less expensive production, since the receiver is not mounted in a completely enclosed by the housing arrangement and thus depending on the design also later, for example for service purposes, from outside the housing be accessible or replaced.
In an advantageous development of the receiver is arranged in an opening of the housing. Depending on the configuration of the opening of the receiver is thus not only accessible in the outside of the housing arranged part accessible from the outside, but can also be mounted or removed from the outside and replaced without having to open the housing.
In a further advantageous development, the receiver has on its outer circumference a projection, for example a circumferential sleeve. The projection stands with an undercut in the opening in mutual engagement, eg a circumferential groove. The undercut is formed such that the receiver is fixed by the mutual engagement against slipping out of the opening. Such an interaction of projection and undercut with a tongue and groove connection represents an inexpensive and secure mechanical attachment, which allows the waiver of a more complex fixation of the receiver, for example by gluing.

The
In the
The

The
In addition to a part of the

The
