Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a device for supporting a balise in a track bed.
Balises are train control and protection technology devices that wirelessly exchange data telegrams with a train crossing the balise. Such data messages may e.g. be fixed location information or the like, which is then spoken by fixed data balises. So-called transparent balises can, depending on the situation, transmit dynamic data telegrams containing, for example, information about train-specific braking curves, route courses and the like. The use of the balises as part of the European Train Control System (ETCS), which is currently being increasingly introduced in Europe, represents the backbone of this system for the functionality of the system under
In addition to the electrical functional reliability, the requirements of the balise are enormous in mechanical terms. The electro-technical functional units of the balise are therefore arranged in a weather-protected balise housing. However, due to their arrangement in the track bed these Balisengehäuse must also be designed robust enough so that the Balisengehäuse is not damaged, for example by hanging down from trains parts and / or falling by trains parts such as stones or icicles.
However, this mechanical protection is very difficult to achieve, especially when the balise is mounted on a so-called fixed track. A solid roadway is a flat concrete track on which the rails are mounted directly or resting on rail blocks. Between the rails, this results in a concrete channel on which falling parts can slide approximately free of obstacles. Since fixed lanes are usually used in tunnels and high-speed lines, falling parts so that some are currently hitting very high speed in such balises. In tunnels, this problem is further accentuated by the comparatively high temperatures prevailing in the tunnel, which, especially in winter, replace the frozen ice blocks on the train foundations by the thawing in the tunnel. It is easy to imagine that it can therefore always come back to destructive damage to such stored balises.
The present invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a device for storage of a balise, through which it is better protected against damage by falling of trains parts.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that a device for supporting a balise is provided in a track bed, which comprises at least one carrier body on which the balise can be mounted raised relative to the track bed, wherein the carrier body taken alone or together with the lower edge the balise and the top edge of the track bed has a tubular structure passing below the balise, which is aligned longitudinally of the track bed.
In this way, the device may provide below and / or adjacent to the balise bypass channels for the falling parts, such that a chunk of ice, for example, on a solid lane, is passed through either the tubular structure depending on its size or entering the tubular structure shattered into fragments that are passed by the tube-like structure and / or around it around the balise on the same. In any case, the impact of a significant part of the fallen part is safely avoided in the balise and thus decisively protected their functionality.
For further improved protection of the balise, it can be provided that the carrier body has a depression in which the balise is at least partially receivable.
In order to be able to reduce the impact effect of a fallen-down part, it is advantageous if, viewed in both directions of travel of a train, the carrier body taken on its own and in the view of several carrier bodies have an arrowhead-like structure. Thus, a structure similar to a French fry chip is created, which shatters larger pieces into smaller fragments or stops them from entering at all (e.g., falling stones) and deflects them laterally. In any case, however, helps the arrowhead-like structure to crush the fallen-down parts or deflect, whereby the impact on the carrier itself is weakened.
For the favorable momentum absorption and distribution in the tubular structure, it is further particularly advantageous when the tubular structure over the Dimensions of the balise also expands and so storage volumes already lying in front of each Balise lying generated. Already in the tubular structure parts are thus further crushed by nachrückende parts (crunching).
In order to be able to protect the electrical units arranged in the balise as well as possible against shocks, it is advantageous if the balises and / or the electrotechnical units are fastened in the balise by means of damping elements on the supporting body or in the balise.
