Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft allgemein eine Leuchte und insbesondere eine Wand- und/oder Deckenleuchte in Form eines Wallwashers, mit einer Vielzahl von Leuchtmitteln (2), vorzugsweise in Form von LEDs (3), die auf einer Leiterplatine (4) sitzen, die zur Stromversorgung und/oder Ansteuerung der Leuchtmittel vorgesehen ist, sowie einer Reflektoranordnung (5) zur Umlenkung des vom Leuchtmittel abgegebenen Lichts in den auszuleuchtenden Raum. Erfindungsgemäß ist zumindest einem der Leuchtmittel eine Linse (23) zugeordnet, die das von dem Leuchtmittel abgegebene Licht im wesentlichen vollständig einfängt und zumindest teilweise auf die Reflektoranordnung wirft. Durch das im Wesentlichen vollständige Einfangen des vom Leuchtmittel abgegebenen Lichts kann eine sehr gute Längsaublendung ohne substantielle Wirkungsgradverluste erzielt werden, da die vom Leuchtmittel in Längsrichtung der Leiterplatine abgestrahlten Lichtkomponenten ebenfalls auf die Reflektoranordnung geworfen werden, so dass die Leuchte nur in der vorbestimmten, gewünschten Richtung und Weise Licht abstrahlt.
