Das ist insbesondere dann von Bedeutung, wenn der Innenschaft die Funktionsschicht aufweist. Durch das schmelzbare Band werden Außenschaft, Innenschaft und Brandsohle verklebt und auf weitere Nähte zur Verbindung dieser Komponenten kann verzichtet werden.
Bevorzugt weist der Innenschaft an der dem Außenschaft zugewandten Seite eine wasserdichte, wasserdampfdurchlässige Funktionsschicht auf. Alternativ kann der Außenschaft an der Innenseite, d.h. an der dem Innenschaft zugewandten Seite, eine wasserdichte wasserdampfdurchlässige Funktionsschicht aufweisen.
Die Erfindung betrifft ebenfalls ein wasserdichtes, atmungsaktives Schuhwerk, umfassend einen Außenschaft mit einem unteren Ende, einen Innenschaft mit einem unteren Ende, eine Brandsohle mit einer umlaufenden Außenkante sowie eine Laufsohle, wobei der Innenschaft an der dem Außenschaft zugewandten Seite eine wasserdichte, wasserdampfdurchlässige Funktionsschicht aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich entlang des unteren Endes des Außenschaftes ein Band aus einem thermoplastischen Material befindet, das am Außenschaft fixiert ist, und das sich von der Außenseite des Außenschaftes über das untere Ende des Außenschaftes bis zur Innenseite des Außenschaftes erstreckt
Bevorzugt ist dieses wasserdichte, atmungsaktive dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich das Band bis in die Nahtlöcher der Funktionsschicht erstreckt und den Zwischenraum zwischen Faden und Nahtloch füllt.
Die Erfindung wird anhand der folgenden Figuren näher erläutert. Die Figuren zeigen bevorzugte Ausführungsformen der vorliegenden Erfindung.

Claims (15)
