A method according to claim 13 or 14, characterised in that a separating element (63) at the entry of the transfer region (T) moves in between the second object edges (4, 4') of the objects (2, 2') which are distanced to one another, said objects being held by a common first gripper (12), and that the objects (2, 2') are conveyed further in different grippers (12, 22).
