Abstract

The post (1) has an anchorage unit arranged between a stabilization base (2) and a lower part (3a) of a resilient element (3) e.g. strap, where the unit is constituted of anchorage systems (4a - 4c) and lower ends (13a - 13b) of stays (12 - 12c). An opening (6) is arranged between a lower end (7) of a longitudinal flexible element (5) i.e. flexible telescopic tube, and the base. Another anchorage unit (8) i.e. male and female detenting system, is arranged between an upper end (9) of the flexible element and an upper end (10) of a longitudinal upper part (3b) of the resilient element. The resilient element is made of textile material. An independent claim is also included for an assembly of sports game comprising a width adjusting system.

Description

The present invention relates in particular to a self-stable amount for supporting an article. Such an article may for example be a volleyball net or tennis, in which case two self-stable amounts are required to support respectively the ends of the net, these two amounts being arranged at a distance from one another so as to keep the net tight. Such an article may however also consist of a panel consisting for example of a basketball basket or a target for darts. The invention therefore also relates to sports games sets equipped with self-stable amounts objects of the present invention.

It is known to self-stable amounts and in particular that described in the patent publication US 6,461,258 . This document discloses a volleyball type sports game set comprising two self-stable uprights and a net. Each self-stable post comprises a base and a post extending vertically and having its lower end fixed to the base. The net comprises at each of its lateral ends, two ropes arranged respectively in the lower part and in the upper part of said net. These two lower and upper ropes pass through the vertical post. In addition, each self-stabilizing post comprises at least one arcuate flexible blade whose lower end is attached to the lower end of the pole, on its outer side, said arcuate flexible blade extending upwardly and outwardly. In addition, the ends of the lower and upper ropes are attached to this flexible arcuate blade. This design allows to stretch the net and keep it in height. In addition, the implementation of a base ensures self-stability of the amount and has the advantage of being able to install the sports game set on different types of surfaces such as turf or sand.

The object of the present invention is to implement a self-stable amount whose design also allows its implementation on different types of surfaces. The design of the self-stable amount object of the present invention further aims to limit its weight, manufacturing cost, ease of implementation, storage and appearance safe and therefore that of the sports game set comprising one or more self-stable amounts.

For this purpose, the self-stable amount of the present invention comprises ground stabilizing means, including a stabilization base arranged to rest on a surface such as for example macadam, sand, turf or other. However, it can be envisaged that these stabilization means are implemented from several stabilization bases or equivalents, in particular of restricted dimensions, which concomitantly ensure the stabilization of the self-stable amount in a more or less vertical position. One or even such stabilization bases are particularly designed, as will be described in more detail below through non-limiting examples, to arrange the self-stable amount object of the invention on any type of surface. However, it could be envisaged that such stabilization means could be implemented by means of peaks, also called sardines, cooperating with the other elements of the self-stabilizing post, when the surface on which said self-stabilizing post is installed is of the turf type. or similar, in which can be planted the peaks or sardines.

In addition, the self-stable amount comprises a flexible element which extends upwardly more or less vertically over a height H and comprises a lower part, in particular in the form of shrouds, this lower part being extended upwards by an upper part, in particular longitudinal. This flexible element, in particular its longitudinal upper part, is arranged to hold an article such as for example one of the ends of a net or a panel consisting for example of a basketball basket or a dartboard. First anchoring means are arranged between the stabilizing means and the lower part of the flexible element.

Moreover, the self-stable amount subject of the invention also comprises a flexible longitudinal element of length greater than the height H of the flexible element, second anchoring means being arranged between the lower end of this flexible longitudinal element. and the means of stabilization. Likewise, third anchoring means are arranged between the upper end of said flexible longitudinal element and the upper end of the upper part of the flexible element.

Thus, when the first, second and third anchoring means are put in place between the stabilizing means, the flexible element and the flexible longitudinal element, the difference in length between the flexible longitudinal element and the flexible element makes it possible to This flexible longitudinal element is arched while the flexible element is held taut more or less vertically between the stabilizing base and the upper end of the flexible longitudinal element, in the manner of a rope of an arc. In addition, the stabilizing means make it possible to stabilize both said flexible element and the flexible longitudinal element. However, one can also consider the attachment of an article on the lower part of this flexible element according to the design thereof.

Preferably, the flexible element of the self-stable amount object of the present invention consists of a textile material. However, it is possible to envisage other materials such as an elastomer which is not extensible or even slightly extensible. It will further be understood that the use of such a flexible element makes it possible to limit the presence of rigid and generally metallic structural elements whose mass is greater than that of textile materials or even elastomers. This also facilitates storage.

According to the invention, the stabilizing means, consisting in particular of a stabilization base, comprise at least two first attachment systems, the lower part of the flexible element being constituted by at least two stay cables, in particular of the type of strap which extend downwardly at an angle to each other, the lower ends of the stays comprising second attachment systems co-operating respectively with the first attachment systems on the base.

According to a design mode, the stabilization means consist of a stabilization base comprising three first fastening systems distributed triangularly, the lower part of the flexible element consisting of three stay cables, in particular of the strap type, arranged in a tripod. In addition, one of the three stays is preferably arranged in the extension of the longitudinal upper part. This has the advantage of being able to use this stay of the lower part for fixing an article, for example the end of a net used for the practice of tennis or tennis ball.

According to the invention, the stabilization means consist of a stabilization base comprising three stabilization feet arranged in a star. Other variants are possible, including a stabilization base comprising a base and at least two stabilizing feet.

According to the invention, the stabilization means consist of a stabilization base comprising a system for reducing its bulk in a storage mode. Thus, it limits the size of the self-stable amount and therefore that of the sports game set consisting of one or more self-stable amounts.

According to the design mode where the base comprises three stabilizing feet arranged in a star, that is to say that their first proximal ends are assembled together, the stabilizing feet extending in the same plane forming angles between they provide a pivot connection between said first proximal ends of the stabilizing feet so as to allow them to fold against each other in said plane, and thus reduce the bulk.

According to the design mode where the stabilization base comprises a base and at least two feet of stabilization, it provides a nesting installation of the stabilizing feet on the base, which allows to remove the stabilizing feet of the base to consolidate when storage and thus reduce clutter.

According to the invention, the flexible longitudinal element is preferably constituted by a flexible tube. In addition, this flexible longitudinal element comprises a length reduction system also reducing its bulk in a self-stable amount storage mode. Such a length reduction system is for example constituted by a flexible tube consisting of at least two sections or rods nestable and foldable between them. However, it is possible to envisage a telescopic flexible tube.

According to the invention, the stabilization means consist of a stabilization base comprising a receiving orifice of the lower end of the flexible longitudinal element, in particular in the form of a flexible tube. Preferably, this port is configured to tilt the lower end of the flexible longitudinal member nested therein. This has the advantage of orienting the flexible longitudinal element during mounting of the self-stabilizing post and contributing to the stability of the flexible longitudinal element in the arcuate position, maintaining the flexible element stretched vertically. However, it is possible to provide other systems for fixing and orienting the flexible longitudinal element vis-à-vis the stabilization base without departing from the scope of the invention. When the flexible element is fixed and oriented on the stabilizing base, it is furthermore conceivable to use a flexible element whose lower part and the upper part consist of one and the same strap or the like, the end upper strap being attached to the upper end of the flexible element and the lower end of the strap being for example fixed to the base, fixed in the ground by means of a pick or sardine or fixed to a complementary mass resting on the ground.

According to one embodiment of the invention, the upper part of the flexible element consists of a strap. Variants are however possible such as for example a rope or the like. It is the same for the lower part of the flexible element. It will further be possible to provide combinations of straps and ropes or the like between the lower part and the upper part of the flexible element.

According to the invention, a fastening system is arranged on the flexible element for securing an article, in particular of the panel or net type. Preferably, this attachment system will be implemented on the upper longitudinal portion of the flexible element. However, we can consider its implementation on the lower part of the flexible element or both at once.

According to the invention, height adjustment means are arranged between the fastening system of the article and the flexible element. This is to be able to adjust the position of the fixed article on the self-stable amount, for example depending on the size of users, children or adults. This is also intended to use the same amount for fixing different types of items, depending on the sporting activity practiced.

According to the invention, a system for locating the height position of the fastening system is arranged on the flexible element. This has the advantage of properly positioning the article including panel or net type depending on the sporting activity practiced.

According to the invention, the stabilization means comprise weighting means. This has the advantage of reinforcing the stability of the self-stable amount, especially when the article is of the panel type or even to compensate for the efforts that may possibly be exerted on the net attached to the amount when, for example, the athlete involuntarily relies on this net during his sporting activity. When the stabilizing means consist of a stabilization base comprising a base and stabilizing feet, it is possible for the base to constitute said weighting means. It can further be provided that ballasting means are deported on at least one of the stabilizing feet, in addition or not to the base. When the stabilization means consist of a stabilization base comprising three stabilization feet arranged in a star and preferably hinged together, the weighting means will preferably also be offset on said stabilizing feet. Such an offset of the weighting means advantageously makes it possible to compensate more easily for the torque exerted on the basis of stabilization by the article suspended on the flexible element and thus reduce the size and weight of the weighting means. It also reduces the size and also facilitates the transport of self-stable amount in the stowed position.

Furthermore, according to the invention, such weighting means could either be integrated in the stabilization means or be removable vis-à-vis them. We can for example provide weights that are positioned on the distal ends of the stabilizing feet of the stabilization base.

In addition, the invention relates to a sports game set comprising one or more self-stable amounts subject of the invention.

According to a first mode of conception, this sporting game set comprises two self-stable uprights and a net provided at its lateral ends with fastening systems with the flexible elements of the two self-stable uprights. Additional accessories may be provided in this sports game set such as, for example, tennis rackets and balls, rackets and badminton shuttlecocks, volleyballs, footballs, and means for delimiting the playing area. game or others.

In addition, the net preferably comprises a width adjustment system, which has the advantage of being able to adjust the width of the ground and the spacing of the self-stable amounts according to the dimensions of the available play area or even according to sports activity practiced.

According to a variant of design, this sports game set comprises at least one self-stable amount and at least one panel, which is provided on its rear face with a fastening system on the flexible element of the self-stable amount. This panel is for example consisting of a basketball basket in which case we will provide a basketball in the sports game set. In addition, there are two self-stabilizing posts and two basketballs to form a complete basketball court.

In addition, such a panel may be a target for arrows in which case the sports game set preferably includes complementary accessories such as darts, bow and arrows or the like.

More complete sports game sets can also be envisaged given the adaptability of the self-stable amount of the invention.

We see on the figure 1 the presence of two self-stable uprights 1 between which extends transversely a net 17 arranged in height.

According to various conceivable designs, such as for example those illustrated in Figures 2 to 4 , the self-stable amount 1 comprises a base 2 which rests on the ground, a flexible element 3 extending vertically on a height H and a flexible longitudinal element 5. It can be seen on the various Figures 1 to 5 and 8 this flexible longitudinal element 5 has an arched shape whose lower end 7 is secured to the base 2 and the upper end 9 is secured to the upper end 10 of the flexible element 3. This flexible longitudinal element 5 comprises in position rest a length greater than the height H, which allows it to take an arcuate shape and maintain vertically stretched the flexible element on the height H. For this, the flexible element is inelastic or very little elastic.

We see on Figures 1 to 5 that the flexible element 3 comprises a lower part 3a forming shrouds, this lower part 3a being extended by a longitudinal upper part 3b.

On the figure 2 , the flexible element 3 consists of a strap for constituting the upper longitudinal portion 3b and a first stay 12c in the lower portion 3a of said flexible member 3, which further comprises two further stays 12a, 12b, the three stay cables 12a, 12b, 12c forming a tripod. The stays 12a, 12b also consist of straps. One could however consider ropes or similar. These straps are preferably made of a textile material.

We see on the second variant illustrated in figure 3 that this flexible element 3 comprises a strap constituting the upper longitudinal part 3b, while the lower part 3a comprises only two stays 12a, 12b forming an angle between them on each side of the strap.

On the third variant of design illustrated in figure 4 the lower part 3a of the flexible element 3 also has three shrouds 12a, 12b, 12c arranged in a tripod, one of the shrouds 12c being arranged in the extension of the longitudinal upper part 3b while the other two shrouds 12a, 12b are arranged symmetrically with respect to those illustrated on the figure 2 .

According to the variants illustrated in figures 3 and 4 this flexible element 3 is preferably also constituted by straps of textile material.

We see on Figures 2 and 3 that the base 2 comprises a base 11 and, preferably, four stabilizing feet 14'a, 14'b, 14'c, 14'd. This base 11 comprises a mass which makes it possible to constitute a weighting of the base 2. It will also be possible to provide a hollow base 11 provided with an orifice closed by means of a plug, which allows the filling of this hollow base, by example by means of sand or with water. In addition, the base 11 preferably comprises housings configured to receive the proximal ends of the feet of stabilization 14'a, 14'b, 14'c, 14'd. This has the advantage of allowing a removable attachment of the stabilizing feet on the base. Thus, it is possible to assemble the stabilizing feet and the base to form the base when mounting the self-stable amount and, conversely, to disassemble the elements when storing the self-stable amount, to reduce its size. .

The figures 1 , 4 and 5 illustrate a design variant of the stabilization base 2. These consist of three stabilizing feet 14a, 14b, 14c arranged in a star. It is found that the three stays 12a, 12b, 12c are fixed at their lower end 13a, 13b, 13c with the distal ends of the three stabilizing feet 14a, 14b, 14c. Preferably, a pivot connection is made between the proximal ends of the stabilizing feet 14a, 14b, 14c, which allows these stabilizing feet to be folded against each other in the self-stabilizing amount storage mode and thus to reduce its size. We also note the presence of flyweights 19a, 19b disposed in a remote position on the distal ends of the stabilizing feet, which allows to ballast the stabilization base 2 and thus enhance the stabilization of the self-stable amount 1 by means of flyweights small dimensions.

According to the different design variants illustrated in Figures 1 to 5 , the stays 12a, 12b, 12c have their lower ends 13a, 13b, 13c fixed vis-à-vis the stabilization base 2. This fixation can be permanent and achieved for example by means of a collage, a stapling or similar. However, it is possible to provide a removable fastening system such as, for example, a male and female latching system arranged between the ends 13a, 13b and 13c of the stays 12a, 12b, 12c and the distal ends of the stabilizing feet 14a, 14b, 14c. or 14'a, 14'b and possibly the base 11.

The flexible longitudinal element 5 is preferably constituted by a flexible tube consisting of several sections or rods 5a, 5b, 5c, 5e, 5f as illustrated on FIG. figure 1 , these rods being interlocked with each other and can be disengaged in order to fold the flexible tube. This has the advantage of limiting the size of the self-stable amount in its storage mode. Of course, it is possible to provide flexible longitudinal elements in the form of flexible slats or in the form of any other variant.

The lower end 7 of the flexible longitudinal element 5 is nested on the base 2. For this, according to the mode illustrated in FIG. Figures 2 and 3 , the base 11 comprises an orifice 6 configured to receive by interlocking the lower end 7 of the flexible longitudinal element 5. Preferably, this orifice 6 is oriented with an inclination towards the outside, which allows during the nesting the lower end 7 of the flexible longitudinal member 5, maintain an outward orientation thereof before the formation of the arc. It is the same in the mode illustrated in figures 1 , 4 and 5 , an orifice 6 being provided in the center of the stabilization base 2.

Anchoring means 8 are provided between the upper end 9 of the flexible longitudinal element 5 and the upper end 10 of the upper part 3b of the flexible element 3. These anchoring means 8 consist, for example, of a male and female latching system arranged at said upper ends 9, 10, which ensures a removable attachment between said elements.

We see on figures 1 , 5 , 6 and 7 that an attachment system 16 is arranged between the article 17 and the upper longitudinal portion 3b of the flexible element 3. This attachment system 16 is for example constituted by a male and female latching system. Other variants are however possible such as a system of loops and hooks.

On the figures 5 and 7 it can be seen that the lateral ends 17a, 17b of the thread 17 each comprise three male pieces 21a. In addition, three female parts 21b are fixed on the upper longitudinal portion 3b of the longitudinal member 3, the male portions 21a snapping into the female portions 21b. It is also possible to provide a number of additional female parts 21b on the flexible element 3 distributed preferably uniformly so as to allow attachment of the thread 17 to different heights. It is also possible for the female parts 21b to be adjustable in height on the upper longitudinal part 3b of the flexible element 3, for example on the by means of a sliding assembly or by the implementation of a pinch of the female part 21b on the upper part 3b of the flexible element 3 including a strap.

On the variant illustrated in figure 6 , the lateral end 17a of the net 17 comprises loops or hooks, the longitudinal upper part 3b of the flexible element 3 in the form of a strap further comprising hooks or loops for fixing said lateral end 17a of the net 17. Of course, this design is also provided for the other lateral end of the net 17. In addition, the implementation of hooks or loops over the entire length of the upper longitudinal portion 3b will make it possible to adjust height of the net vis-à-vis the self-stable amount, at the convenience of the user.

Furthermore, according to these various designs in which there is provided means for adjusting the height of the fastening system on the flexible element, a metric marking is preferably provided by means of a graduated rule arranged in particular along the portion longitudinal upper 3b of the flexible element 3.

We see on figures 1 and 5 that the thread 17 consists of several longitudinal parts 17c, 17d, 17e, 17f, 17g mounted sliding between them. For example, it is possible to provide a sliding assembly at the level of the upper edges 17h and the lower edges 17i of the said longitudinal portions of the net 17. This has the advantage of adjusting the length of the thread 17 and thus the distance between the two self-stable amounts. 1 as illustrated on the figure 1 .

The two self-stable amounts 1 and the net 17 illustrated on the figure 1 constitute a sports game set to which it is possible to add additional accessories such as rackets and balls or ruffles, volleyballs, footballs, or other accessories related to these kinds of games. activities, including means of delimiting the playing area such as ropes, straps or other.

Such a self-stable amount may, however, allow the constitution of other sets of sports games. As illustrated on the figure 8 , the self-stable amount 1 allows the support of a panel-type article 17 'which will preferably be made of a lightweight material. This panel 17 'may consist of a basketball basket or a target for arrows. An attachment system 16 'is arranged between the rear face of the panel 17' and the upper part 3b of the flexible element 3, this attachment system 16 'being identical to those previously described when the article is a net 17. In addition, straps 22a, 22b are preferably provided as illustrated in FIG. figure 8 constituting stays arranged between the lower angular sides 17'a, 17'b of the panel 17 'and the stabilizing base 2 as illustrated for example on this figure 8 . This allows the stabilization of the panel 17 'on the self-stable amount 1. Such a sports game set 21 may include additional accessories. When the panel 17 'is a basketball basket, one will include a basketball ball. The sports game set may further consist of two self-stable uprights 1 and two 17 'basketball panels. When such a panel 17 'is a target for arrows, the sporting game set 21 will include additional accessories such darts or bow and arrows.

Many variants of the self-stable amount can be envisaged without departing from the scope of the invention, the Figures 9 to 12 illustrating some of them. So on the figure 9 it can be seen that the stabilization means consist of a base 100 provided with a base 101 on which is fitted a stabilizing foot 102 extending towards the outside of the self-stabilizing post, a flyweight 103 being attached removably at the distal end of said stabilizing leg 102. The flexible member has its lower end 105 nested in the base 101 with an outward orientation of the self-stabilizing post. In addition, the flexible element 106 consists of a single strap or the like whose upper end 107 is detachably or not attached to the upper end 108 of the flexible element, while the lower end 109 of the flexible element 106 is hooked, for example by means of a ring, to a complementary mass 110 which also constitutes an element of said stabilizing means. The net 111 being hooked on this flexible element 106.

In the example illustrated in figure 10 , the stabilization base 200 comprises a base 217 on which are releasably fitted three stabilizing feet 201, 202, 203, one 201 of which extends outwardly of the self-stabilizing post and supports at its distal end a offset weight 204, while the other two 202, 203 feet extend inwardly of the self-stable amount at an angle between them.

It can be seen that the flexible element 205 is composed of two straps 206, 207 or the like whose lower ends 208, 209 are respectively fixed to the distal ends 210, 211 of the two inner stabilizing feet 202, 203, while the upper ends 212 , 213 of these straps 206, 207 are joined and are attached to the upper end 214 of the flexible element 215. In this case illustrated in figure 10 a panel 216, in particular a dartboard, is supported concomitantly by the two straps 206, 207.

In the example illustrated in figure 11 which is similar to that illustrated in figure 10 , the stabilizing means consist of a stabilization base 300 provided with a base 301 and a stabilizing foot 302 extending towards the outside of the self-stable post and supporting at its distal end a removable weight 303 . In addition, these stabilizing means also comprise two peaks or sardines 304, 305 driven into the ground and fixed respectively to the lower ends 306, 307 of two straps 308, 309 constituting the flexible element 310, the upper ends 311, 312 joining together and being attached to the upper end 313 of the flexible member 314.

In the example illustrated in figure 12 , which is similar to the one illustrated in figure 10 , there is a stabilization base 400 comprising a base 401 on which are releasably nested three stabilizing feet 402, 403, 404. The first stabilizing foot 402 extends outwardly of the self-stabilizing post and receives at its distal end a 405 flyweight. two further stabilizing feet 403, 404 extend inwardly of the self-stabilizing post at an angle therebetween.

In addition, the flexible element 406 comprises a longitudinal upper portion 407, in particular consisting of a strap, and a lower portion 408 composed of two stays 409, 410, in particular consisting of straps. The upper ends 409a, 410a of the two stays 409, 410 meet and are attached to the lower end 407b of the upper longitudinal portion 407 while their lower ends 409b, 410b separate from each other and are fixed respectively at the distal ends 403a, 404a of the two stabilizing feet 403, 404. Moreover, the upper end 407a of the longitudinal upper part 407 is fixed to the upper end 411a of the flexible element 411, which has its lower end 411b assembled to the base 401.

Combinations of the different examples illustrated in Figures 1 to 12 and described above can be envisaged without departing from the scope of the invention.

Other characteristics may also be envisaged without departing from the scope of the present invention, in particular as to the number of stays on the lower part 3a of the flexible element 3, the anchoring means between the stabilization base 2, the flexible element 3 and the flexible longitudinal element 5, the fastening system 21 of article 17, 17 'on the flexible element 3, the design of the stabilization base 2 or other.

Claims (26)

Self-stable upright (1) comprising stabilizing means (2) on the ground, characterized in that it also comprises: a flexible element (3) for holding an article (17, 17 '), extending upwards over a height H and comprising a lower part (3a) extended by an upper part (3b), first means anchoring means (4a, 4b, 4c, 13a, 13b, 13c) being arranged between the stabilizing means (2) and the lower part (3a); a flexible longitudinal element (5) of length greater than the height H of the flexible element (3), second anchoring means (6) being arranged between the lower end (7) of the flexible longitudinal element ( 5) and the stabilizing means (2) and the third anchoring means (8) being arranged between the upper end (9) of said flexible longitudinal element and the upper end (10) of the upper part (3b) of said flexible element. Self-stable upright (1) according to claim 1, the flexible element (3) being made of textile material.
