Die Erfindung betrifft einen Dochthalter gemäß Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 und ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines solchen Dochthalters.The invention relates to a wick holder according to the preamble of
Ein Teelicht besteht aus einem becherförmigen Behälter, in den ein Wachsblock eingesetzt ist. Der Wachsblock weist ein Loch auf, durch das ein Docht hindurchgeführt ist. Unterseitig des Wachsblockes befindet sich der Docht in einem Dochthalter, in dem das untere Ende des Dochtes fixiert ist. Der Dochthalter dient im Wesentlichen dazu, den Docht im Wachs gerade zu halten. Die bekannten Dochthalter bestehen aus einem kreisrunden Blechzuschnitt als Basisplatte mit einem zentralen Durchzug in Form eines hohlzylindrischen Ansatzes, in dem der untere Teil des Dochtes aufgenommen und fixiert ist. Nachteilig ist, dass bei der Herstellung des bekannten Dochthalters nach dem Ausstanzen ein Blechstreifengitter als Abfall übrig bleibt und damit das zur Verfügung stehende Blechmaterial nicht optimal für die Herstellung der Dochthalter genutzt wird.A tealight consists of a cup-shaped container in which a wax block is inserted. Die Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung besteht deshalb darin, einen Dochthalter für ein Teelicht so auszubilden, dass bei der Herstellung des Dochthalters möglichst kein Metallabfall entsteht und so das zur Verfügung stehende Material besser nutzbar ist. Die Erfindung schlägt vor, anstelle eines Dochthalters mit kreisrunder Basisplatte einen Dochthalter mit einer Basisplatte in Form eines kongruenten, regulären n-Ecks mit n=3, 4 oder 6, insbesondere in Form eines regulären gleichmäßigen Sechsecks zu verwenden. Die gewählte Form der Basisplatte bietet den Vorteil, dass die durch den Ziehvorgang ausgeformten Basisplatten aus dem Metallblechstreifen so ausstanzbar sind, dass praktisch kein Blechstreifenabfall verbleibt und damit mehr, vorliegend praktisch das gesamte Blechmaterial für die Herstellung von Dochthaltern zur Verfügung steht. Der Vorteil der Erfindung besteht aber nicht nur darin, Blechabfall zu vermeiden, sondern auch darin, dass pro Maschinenhub bei gleicher Metallstreifenbreite mehr Dochthalter mit sechseckiger Basisplatte erzeugt werden als Dochthaltern mit runder Basisplatte. Bei einer Breite des Tiefzieh-Metallblechstreifens von bspw. 213 mm ergeben sich unter Zugrundelegung gleicher Größenverhältnisse pro Maschinenhub neunzehn Teelicht-Dochthalter mit sechseckiger Basisplatte anstatt nur fünfzehn bei Dochthaltern mit runder Basisplatte. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, dass aus dem Tiefzieh-Metallblechstreifen entsprechend einer virtuellen Parkettierung mit regulären n-eckigen Polygonen (n=3, 4 oder 6), vorzugsweise mit regulären Sechsecken, lückenlos aneinander liegende kongruente reguläre n-eckige (n=3, 4 oder 6), vorzugsweise sechseckige Basisplatten ausgestanzt werden, wobei pro Maschinenhub die Basisplatten jeweils einer quer zur Längsrichtung des Blechstreifens verlaufenden Basisplattenreihe der in Längsrichtung aufeinander folgenden Reihen der parkettartig angeordneten Basisplatten reihenweise gleichzeitig ausgestanzt werden.The invention proposes to use a wick holder with a base plate in the form of a congruent, regular n-corner with n = 3, 4 or 6, in particular in the form of a regular uniform hexagon, instead of a wick holder with a circular base plate.
