Die Vorsatzschale aus Metall umfasst nach einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung wenigstens zwei seitliche, also vertikal verlaufende Vorsatzschalenprofile und das untere, waagerecht verlaufende Vorsatzschalenprofil, wobei die Vorsatzschalenprofile jeweils den wetterseitigen Blendrahmenüberschlag überdecken. Claims (15)

  1. Plastic outer frame (1) with a weather-side facing shell (9) made of metal, having the following features:

    - the lower horizontally running hollow-chamber profile (2) of the outer frame (1) has at least one drainage opening (8), which passes through the weather-side visible surface (6) of the outer frame beneath the outer-frame rebate region (4) and above the masonry-connection region (5),
    - the at least one drainage opening (8) passing through the exterior visible surface (6) is covered over by the lower horizontally running facing-shell profile (10) such that the water passing out of the drainage opening (8) of the hollow-chamber profile (2) is channelled away within the lower horizontally running facing-shell profile (10),
    characterized in that the lower horizontally running facing-shell profile (10) covers over the lower horizontally running hollow-chamber profile (2) of the outer frame (1) only in a sub-region of the visible width (7) of the outer frame.
  2.
