Claims (11)

  1. Knife with an automatically retractable blade comprising a knife body (1) provided with a housing for receiving a blade (2) secured to a blade holder (3) and provided with a pusher (4) for driving the blade holder in a longitudinal direction for bringing out the blade, for which the pusher comprises a thrust stop (5), engaged in a longitudinal direction for bringing out the blade with a counter-stop (6) of the blade holder, the pusher and the blade holder comprising means (15, 16) suitable for disengaging the thrust stop of the counter-stop under the action of a rotation of the blade holder and of the blade to an inclined cutting position, the blade holder comprising a pin (9) received in a rail (10) of the knife body, the pin being stopped at the end of forward travel of the blade holder by a stop abutment (11) at the end of the rail (10) and forming a rotation axis of the blade holder in order to make it move from a forward position to an inclined cutting position, characterized in that the pin is placed at the end of an arm (12) extending the blade holder (3) rearwards so as to enlarge the radius of rotation of the blade holder.
  2. Knife according to Claim 1, characterized in that the stop abutment (11) is an elastic abutment.
  3. Knife according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that it comprises a tooth (13) in the top front portion of the blade holder and a housing (14) for receiving the tooth in the knife body.
  4. Knife according to Claim 3, characterized in that, once the blade holder is moved forward, pin resting against the stop abutment, a pressure on an object to be cut causes a rotation of the blade holder around the pin in order to bring the blade holder into the cutting position (C), a position for which the tooth (13) is received in the housing (14) of the knife body.
  5. Knife according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the means adapted to disengage the thrust stop of the counter-stop comprise a first lateral ramp (15) on the blade holder and a second lateral ramp (16) on the button.
  6. Knife according to Claim 5, characterized in that the thrust stop (5) and the second ramp (16) are supported by a flexible arm (7) connected to the pusher.
  7. Knife according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the pusher is operated by means of a rotary handle (8) and a connecting rod (20).
  8. Knife according to Claim 7, characterized in that the connecting rod (20) is provided with a first rotation spindle (21) on the body of the knife, a second spindle (22) offset relative to the rotation spindle of the connecting rod and received in an opening (23) of the rotary handle, an arm (24) supporting a third distant spindle (25) received in a rail (26) of the button, the ratio of distance to the first spindle (21) from the second spindle (22) and from the third spindle (25) giving a gear reduction of the longitudinal movement of the button relative to the rotary movement of the handle (8).
  9. Knife according to Claim 8, characterized in that the third spindle (25) passes through a circularly arcuate groove (27) made in the handle.
  10. Knife according to any one of Claims 7 to 9, characterized in that it comprises a return spring (30) for the connecting rod (20) coupled to a first stub element (31) at the rear of the knife body.
  11. Knife according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises a return spring (28) for the blade holder, coupled to a stub element (29) of the knife body.
