- A device for feeding single or stacked folded sheets (22), book blocks (12), books (2) or similar printing products to a processing machine, with a feed conveyor (3, 23) that successively transports the printing products or stacks of printing products, and with a lock (5, 25) that is arranged at the downstream end of the feed conveyor and serves for the timed release of individual printing products or stacks of printing products, characterized in that at least one pressure roller (6, 26) is arranged behind the lock (5, 25) referred to the transport direction and features a reverse lock opposite to the transport direction.
- The device according to claim 1, characterized in that the reverse lock is formed by a free-wheel.
- The device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the at least one pressure roller (6, 26) has an elastic surface area (26 a).
- The device according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the at least one pressure roller (6, 26) has a non-slip surface area.
- The device according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the at least one pressure roller (6, 26) can be adjusted to the respective product thickness or stack thickness.
- The device according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the at least one pressure roller (6, 26) is spring-loaded.
- The device according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the at least one pressure roller (6, 26) can be pivoted or displaced against the printing products and back in a controlled fashion.
- The device according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the at least one pressure roller (6, 26) acts upon a front side or rear side of the respective printing product or stack of printing products.
- The device according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that a synchronously driven acceleration roller (4 a) is assigned to the at least one pressure roller (6, 26) opposite thereof.
- The device according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the at least one pressure roller (6) is rotationally driven in a synchronous fashion in order to further convey the printing product or stack of printing products released by the lock (5).
