- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen hitzebeständigen Handschuh, insbesondere Feuerwehrhandschuh, mit zumindest einem Protektor nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.
- Handschuhe mit Schutzplatten auf der Handrückenseite sind aus dem Stand der Technik bekannt. Insbesondere im Motorsportbereich, wie bspw. Motorradhandschuhe, oder anderen Sportarten, wie z.B. Eishockeyhandschuhe, Baseballhandschuhe, etc. gibt es Handschuhe mit Schutzplatten, die vor Verletzungen schützen sollen.
- Aus der
US 2007/0245453 A1 ist ein Feuerwehrhandschuh mit einem Schutzbereich am Handrücken offenbart, welcher aus einem halbsteifen Material besteht. DieUS 5,822,796 A beschreibt einen Feuerwehrhandschuh mit einen dickeren Handrückenseite, welche ebenfalls relativ steif ausgebildet sein kann. - Eine konkrete Ausführungsform eines Handschuhs mit einer Schutzplatte am Handrücken wird auch in der
US 5,640,712 A gezeigt. Weiters wird hierzu angeführt, dass der Handschuh in der Waschmaschine gereinigt werden kann und somit entsprechenden Temperaturen Stand hält. - Einen speziellen Anwendungsbereich offenbart die
US 2,448,697 A , wo ein Schweißhandschuh gezeigt wird, der ein Feuer- bzw. ein Funkschutzschild auf der Handrückenseite zeigt. -
DE 20 2004 013 316 01 - Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es, einen hitzebeständigen und hitzeisolierenden Handschuh, insbesondere einen Feuerwehrhandschuh, zur Verfügung zu stellen, der neben der Temperaturbeständigkeit auch eine Beständigkeit gegenüber hoher mechanischer Beanspruchung aufweist.
- Beide Funktionen des Handschuhs, d.h. Temperaturbeständigkeit und Beständigkeit gegenüber hoher mechanischer Beanspruchung, sind dabei Voraussetzungen, welche einen entsprechenden Einsatz des Handschuhs durch seinen Träger ermöglichen. Hierbei wird durch die Temperaturbeständigkeit der Komponenten und deren isolierendes Zusammenwirken ein thermischer Schutz der Hand bewirkt.
- Die Beständigkeit gegenüber hoher mechanischer Beanspruchung erlaubt zum einen den verbesserten Schutz der Hand des Trägers. Zum anderen wird hierdurch das Einsatzspektrum erweitert und dem Handschuh eine werkzeugartige Funktionalität verliehen. So kann dieser bspw. auch als Schlagwerkzeug verwendet werden.
- In einigen Anwendungen treten Belastungen auf, die sowohl thermische als auch mechanische Beständigkeit erfordern. Dies ist z.B. bei Aufdrücken von Türen in brennenden Gebäuden oder aber durch Reibungshitze beim Abseilen oder beim unfallbedingten Gleiten über Strassenbelag. So reicht der Anwendungsbereich solcher hitzebeständiger Handschuhe von Motorradhandschuhen über Einsatzhandschuhe militärischer Spezialeinheiten bis hin zu ausgesprochenen Feuerwehrhandschuhen. Je nach konkretem Szenario sind hierbei thermische Isolierung oder mechanische Belastbarkeit in unterschiedlichem Umfang relevant.
- Temperaturbeständigkeit und thermische Isolierung werden durch einen abgestimmten Aufbau verschiedener Materialien gewährleistet, die selbst temperaturbeständig, in ihrem Zusammenwirken aber thermisch isolierend sind. Im einfachsten Fall kann der Handschuh in seiner Grundstruktur aber auch aus einem einzigen temperaturbeständigen Material gearbeitet sein, dass nur einen kurzzeitigen thermischen Schutz durch die Wärmekapazität des ansonsten homogenen Materials gewährleistet. Vorteilhaft sind jedoch schichtartige Strukturen aus unterschiedlichen Materialien, wie z.B. Futterstoffen, Inserts aus Membranen und/oder Obermaterialien, die im Zusammenwirken einen erhöhten Schutz der Hand vor thermischer Belastung bewirken.
- Die mechanische Beständigkeit wird durch das Aufbringen von die mechanische Belastung aufnehmenden und verteilenden Strukturelementen als sogenannte Protektoren auf den Handschuhkörper bewirkt. Durch diese Protektoren werden mechanische Belastungen von der Hand bzw. Hautoberfläche ferngehalten und somit ein Schutz der Hand bewirkt. Hierbei werden Abmessungen und Anbringungsort der meist schalen-, rinnen-, platten- oder plättchenförmigen Elemente zum einen durch die typischen Belastungszonen und zum anderen durch die Erfordernisse an die Deformierbarkeit des Handschuhs bedingt.
- Die Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung wird durch einen Feuerwehrhandschuh als hitzeisolierenden Handschuh gelöst, wobei der zumindest eine Protektor im Bereich des Handrückens, der Handinnenfläche und/oder Handkante angeordnet ist und eine konvexe bzw. konkave Krümmung und eine Temperaturbeständigkeit bei mindestens 200°C für zumindest 9 Sekunden aufweist. Vorteilhaft dabei erweist sich, dass bspw. beim Löschen eines Brandes in einem brennenden Haus mit Hilfe der Hände bzw. der Arme Türen, die bereits brennen aber noch nicht geöffnet sind, mit den mit Protektoren ausgestatteten Handschuhen geschützten Händen geöffnet bzw. eingedrückt werden können oder sich der Feuerwehrmann vor herabstürzenden Balken oder dergleichen schützen kann, weil die Hände einerseits durch die Protektoren gegen die hohe mechanische Beanspruchung beim Einschlagen und Eindrücken von Türen bzw. restlichen Bestandteilen von Türen oder von herabstürzenden Bauteilen geschützt sind und andererseits durch das temperaturbeständige Obermaterial des Feuerwehrhandschuhs die Hände vor zu großer Erhitzung durch das Feuer geschützt sind.
- Der Protektor ist als Hartschale ausgebildet , wobei durch die Härte des Protektors ein Schutz der Hand gegenüber mechanischer Beanspruchung, insbesondere beim Aufdrücken bzw. beim Aufschlagen einer Tür, Fenster bzw. beim Wegdrücken von brennenden Materialien, insbesondere auch bei Tunnelbränden, gegeben ist.
- Es ist vorgesehen, dass die Hartschale ein thermoplastisches Elastomer, insbesondere ein Polyamid umfasst, wodurch eine Hartschale mit hoher Festigkeit, Steifigkeit und Zähigkeit hergestellt werden kann.
- In einer Weiterbildung erweist sich von Vorteil, dass das thermoplastische Elastomer hochwärmestabilisiert ist und eine Schmelztemperatur ausgewählt aus einem Bereich mit einer unteren Grenze von 200°C und einer oberen Grenze von 300°C aufweist, weil dadurch sowohl eine hohe Härte als auch ein hohes Dämpfungsvermögen und gute flammwidrige Eigenschaften gegeben sind.
- Das thermoplastische Elastomer kann glasfaserverstärkt, karbonfaserverstärkt, mineraliengefüllt und/oder glaskugelgefüllt sein, wodurch einerseits die Temperaturbeständigkeit und die flammwidrigen Eigenschaften und andererseits die mechanische Widerstandskraft erhöht werden können.
- Insbesondere erweist sich dabei von Vorteil, dass das Material der Hartschale eine Kerbschlagzähigkeit ausgewählt aus einem Bereich mit einer unteren Grenze von 3 kJ/m2 und einer oberen Grenze von 60 kJ/m2 aufweist, weil dadurch Beschädigungen der Hartschale per se bei starker mechanischer Beanspruchung vermieden werden können und die Feuerwehrhandschuhe nach einer derartigen Belastung mehrmals verwendet werden können.
- Ferner erweist sich von Vorteil, dass das Material der Hartschale eine Bruchspannung ausgewählt aus einem Bereich mit einer unteren Grenze von 40 MPa und einer oberen Grenze von 230 MPa aufweist, wodurch ein Zerbrechen der Hartschale bzw. des Protektors bei hoher mechanischer Beanspruchung verhindert werden kann.
- Vorteilhaft ist auch, dass das Material der Hartschale eine Dichte ausgewählt aus einem Bereich mit einer unteren Grenze von 1,0 g/cm3 und einer oberen Grenze von 1,6 g/cm3 bei Raumtemperatur aufweist, wodurch eine gewisse Steifigkeit und Härte erzielt werden können, die einen Schutz der Hände vor mechanischer Beanspruchung gewährleisten.
- Ferner zeigt sich von Vorteil, dass der Protektor eine Erhitzung des Materials der Handinnenfläche bei einer Kontakttemperatur von zumindest 250°C für einem Zeitraum von zumindest 10 sec abhält, wodurch sichergestellt wird, dass selbst bei unmittelbarer Berührung eines glühenden Gegenstands die Hitze neben dem feuerfesten Obermaterial des Feuerwehrhandschuhs auch durch den Protektor selbst abgeschirmt wird.
- In einer Weiterbildung ist vorgesehen, dass der zumindest eine Protektor im Bereich des Handrückens, Handinnenfläche, der Fingerknöchel und/oder des Schafts angeordnet ist, wodurch die bei Verwendung der Hände mechanisch stark beanspruchten Teile besonders durch die Hartschale geschützt sind und somit eine Verletzung der Hände vermieden werden kann.
- Ferner ist in einer Weiterbildung vorgesehen, dass die Hartschale zumindest an jener dem Handrücken bzw. der Handfläche zugewandten Seite anatomisch geformt ist, wodurch die Passform des Handschuhs durch die Hartschale und die Greiffähigkeit beim Tragen des erfindungsgemäßen Feuerwehrhandschuhs nicht beeinträchtigt werden, weil das Abbiegen der Finger bzw. der Fingerknöchel und das Ballen einer Faust nach wie vor möglich ist.
- Des weiteren ist vorgesehen, dass die Handrückenseite bzw. der Handinnenfläche zu- mindest eine Schicht Obermaterial und gegebenenfalls zumindest eine Schicht Futter bzw. Insert, z.B. eine semipermeable Membran, umfasst und der Protektor am bzw. zwischen Obermaterial und Futter angeordnet ist oder in das Obermaterial integriert ist, wodurch der Protektor, der selbst bereits eine sehr hohe Temperaturbeständigkeit aufweist, durch das Obermaterial des Feuerwehrhandschuhs zudem von der Hitze des Feuers geschützt ist. Zudem kann der Protektor auch von einem Besatzmaterial bedeckt sein. Somit ergibt sich eine synergistische Wirkung aus hitzebeständigem Obermaterial und Protektor, wodurch deren Einzelwirkungen deutlich verstärkt werden.
- In einer alternativen Ausführungsvariante ist vorgesehen, dass der Protektor über der Schicht des Obermaterials auf der Außenseite angeordnet ist, wodurch die darunter liegende feuerfeste Schicht des Obermaterials vor mechanischer Beanspruchung geschützt wird.
- In einer Weiterbildung ist vorgesehen, dass der Protektor mit dem Handschuh verbunden ist, insbesondere durch Vernähen, Verkleben und/oder Einschieben, wodurch ein Verrutschen des Protektors in Bezug auf das Obermaterial verhindert werden kann und die Positionierung selbst bei hoher mechanischer Beanspruchung bzw. bei Betätigen der Finger konstant gehalten wird.
- Ferner kann ein Dämpfungselement im Bereich des zumindest einen Protektors, vorzugsweise im Bereich der Fingergrundgelenke, der Handkante und/oder Handinnenfläche angeordnet sein, wodurch einerseits die Stoßwirkung und andererseits die Schutzwirkung bei mechanischer Beanspruchung vergrößert werden können.
- Das Dämpfungselement im Bereich des Protektors kann von einem weiteren Protektor oder einer Abdeckung bedeckt sein, wodurch das Dämpfungselement nicht direkt mit dem Träger des hitzebeständigen Handschuhs bzw. dem Obermaterial in Kontakt gelangt. Das Dämpfungselement kann alls Feder, insbesondere Spiralfeder, als Kissen, insbesondere umfassend ein Elastomer, ausgebildet sein, wodurch einerseits die Stoßkraft vergrößert werden kann und andererseits die Schutzwirkung für den Träger verbessert wird.
- Des weiteren ist vorgesehen, dass zumindest ein Karabiner und/oder Öse umfassend ein thermoplastisches Material, insbesondere Polyamid, am Handschuh angeordnet ist und der zumindest eine Karabiner und/oder Öse eine Temperaturbeständigkeit von mindestens 200°C für zumindest 9 sec aufweist, wodurch die aus Kunststoff hergestellten Karabiner bzw. Ösen sich durch unmittelbaren Kontakt mit dem Feuer nicht übermäßig erhit-zen, wie dies bei aus dem Stand der Technik bekannten Metallkarabinern bzw. Metallösen vorkommen kann, und somit eine Beschädigung des hitze- bzw. feuerbeständigen Obermaterials des Feuerwehrhandschuhs verursachen und dadurch eine Verletzung des Feuerwehrmannes im Einsatz verhindert werden kann. Auch eine durch den Feuerwehrmann selbst hergestellte Berührung der erfindungsgemäßen Ösen bzw. Karabiner ist nicht so gefährlich wie mit aus dem Stand der Technik bekannten Metallösen bzw. -karabinern.
- Die Nachbrennzeit erfindungsgemäßen Handschuhs beträgt < 2 sec, wodurch abermals die Sicherheit des handschuhtragenden Feuerwehrmannes erhöht werden kann.
- Zum besseren Verständnis der Erfindung wird diese anhand der nachfolgenden Figuren näher erläutert.

Fig. 3b einen Schnitt durch eine alternative Ausführungsform eines Protektors im Bereich der Fingergrundgelenke. - Einführend sei festgehalten, dass in den unterschiedlich beschriebenen Ausführungsformen gleiche Teile mit gleichen Bezugszeichen bzw. gleichen Bauteilbezeichnungen versehen werden, wobei die in der gesamten Beschreibung enthaltenen Offenbarungen sinngemäß auf gleiche Teile mit gleichen Bezugszeichen bzw. gleichen Bauteilbezeichnungen übertragen werden können. Auch sind die in der Beschreibung gewählten Lageangaben, wie z.B. oben, unten, seitlich usw. auf die unmittelbar beschriebene sowie dargestellte Figur bezogen und sind bei einer Lageänderung sinngemäß auf die neue Lage zu übertragen. Weiters können auch Einzelmerkmale oder Merkmalskombinationen aus den gezeigten und beschriebenen unterschiedlichen Ausführungsbeispielen für sich eigenständige, erfinderische oder erfindungsgemäße Lösungen darstellen.
- Sämtliche Angaben zu Wertebereichen in gegenständlicher Beschreibung sind so zu verstehen, dass diese beliebige und alle Teilbereiche daraus mit umfassen, z.B. ist die Angabe 1 bis 10 so zu verstehen, dass sämtliche Teilbereiche, ausgehend von der unteren Grenze 1 und der oberen Grenze 10 mitumfasst sind, d.h. sämtliche Teilbereiche beginnen mit einer unteren Grenze von 1 oder größer und enden bei einer oberen Grenze von 10 oder weniger, z.B. 1 bis 1,7, oder 3,2 bis 8,1 oder 5,5 bis 10.

Fig. 1 zeigt einen erfindungsgemäßen Handschuh 1 mit Protektoren 2 im Bereich der Handrückenseite 3. Der Protektor 2 ist vorzugsweise schalenförmig ausgebildet und weist eine Temperaturbeständigkeit bei mindestens 200°C für zumindest 9 sec auf. - Die konvexe bzw. konkave Krümmung zur Ausbildung der Schalenform kann abhängig vom Bereich, wo der zumindest eine Protektor 2 angeordnet ist, annähernd Null sein bzw. entsprechend den anatomischen Anforderungen einen größeren Wert betragen.
- Alternative Ausführungsformen, wie die Anordnung des zumindest einen Protektors 2 im Bereich des Schafts, der Handkante und der Handinnenfläche, insbesondere im Bereich des Ulnarnerves und des Daumengrundgelenks, sind nicht dargestellt.
- Die erfindungsgemäßen Protektoren 2 sind als Hartschale ausgebildet, wo- durch neben der Temperaturbeständigkeit und somit der Möglichkeit mit dem Handschuh im Bereich des Feuers bzw. extrem hohen Temperaturen zu arbeiten auch die Möglichkeit besteht, sich einen versperrten Weg durch brennende Objekte mithilfe der Handschuhe frei zuräumen bzw. frei zuboxen, indem mit den Protektoren der Feuerwehrhandschuhe Hindernisse aus dem Weg geschlagen werden können.
- Die Hartschale des Protektors 2 ist vorzugsweise aus einem thermoplastischen Elastomer, insbesondere Polyamid, hergestellt. Das thermoplastische Elastomer ist hochwärmestabilisiert und weist eine Schmelztemperatur ausgewählt aus einem Bereich mit einer unteren Grenze von 200°C und einer oberen Grenze von 350°C. In einer Weiterbildung der Erfindung kann das thermoplastische Elastomer glasfaserverstärkt, karbonfaserverstärkt, mineraliengefüllt und/oder glaskugelgefüllt sein.
- Vorzugsweise ist das thermoplastische Elastomer der Hartschale des Protektors 2 karbonfaserverstärkt, wodurch eine noch höhere Temperaturbeständigkeit als durch das Elastomer selbst erreicht werden kann und zudem eine größere Härte des Protektors 2 erzielt werden kann.
- Das Material der Hartschale des Protektors 2 weist eine Kerbschlagfähigkeit, ausgewählt aus einem Bereich mit einer unteren Grenze von 3 kJ/m2 und einer oberen Grenze von 60 kJ/m2 aus. Weiters weist das Material der Hartschale des Protektors 2 eine Bruchspannung, ausgewählt aus einem Bereich mit einer unteren Grenze von 40 MPa und einer oberen Grenze von 230 MPa auf beziehungsweise beträgt die Dichte einen Wert ausgewählt aus einem Bereich mit einer unteren Grenze von 1 g/cm3 und einer oberen Grenze von 1,6 g/cm3 bei Raumtemperatur. Die Kerbschlagfähigkeit wird gemäß der DIN EN ISO 179/1eA festgelegt. Die Bruchspannung wird gemäß der Norm DIN EN ISO 527-1/2 bestimmt.
- Der erfindungsgemäße Protektor 2 ist zudem in der Lage, ein Erhitzen des Materials des erfindungsgemäßen Handschuhs bei einer Kontakttemperatur von zumindest 250°C für einen Zeitraum von zumindest 10 sec abzuhalten.
- Die Hartschale des Protektors 2 ist im Bereich des Handrückens angeordnet. Dort vorzugsweise im Bereich der Fingergrundgelenke beziehungsweise im Bereich der Fingerendgelenke. Ferner kann der Protektor 2 auch im Bereich des Schaftes 6 bzw. im Bereich der Handinnenseite, wie z.B. im Bereich des Ulnarnervs bzw. Daumengrundgelenk, und/oder Handkante angeordnet sein.
- Das Obermaterial sowie auch das Futter- oder Isoliermaterial des Handschuhs kann beispielsweise aus folgenden Grundstoffen oder deren Mischungen bestehen
- (aromatische) Polyamide mit hohem Schmelzpunkt, insbesondere Meta- oder Para-Aramide, wie z.B. Kermel, Nomex, Kevlar, Technora, PBI, Apyeil, Teijinconex oder Twaron,
- kristalline Polymere, insbesondere PBO-Fasern, wie z.B. Zylon oder Vectran,
- Viskose FR, z.B. Lenzing FR,
- Glasfaser,
- flammhemmend ausgerüstetes Leder oder entsprechende Textilien bzw. flexible Trägermaterialien, z.B. mit Beschichtungen aus Silikon, Polyurethan oder Silikon-Carbon.
- In
Fig. 2a und 2b ist jeweils ein Schnitt A-A durch einen erfindungsgemäßen Protektor im Bereich eines der Fingerendgelenke 5 dargestellt.Fig. 2a zeigt dabei einen Protektor 2 aus einer Hartschale, wobei zumindest jene dem Handrücken zugewandte Seite 7 anatomisch geformt ist, sowie jene dem Handrücken abgewandte Seite 8 des Protektors 2 ebenfalls parallel zur anatomischen Ausbildung dargestellt ist. - In
Fig. 2b ist eine alternative Ausführungsform des erfindungsgemäßen Protektors 2 dargestellt, wobei lediglich jene dem Handrücken zugewandte Seite 7 anatomisch geformt ist und jene dem Handrücken abgewandte Seite 8 des Protektors 2 eine beliebige Form aufweisen kann, beispielsweise jene wie sie am einfachsten und kostengünstigsten herstellbar ist und am einfachsten bei der Herstellung geformt werden kann. - In
Fig. 3a ist ein erfindungsgemäßer Protektor 2 im Bereich der Fingergrundgelenke 4 dargestellt. Hierbei ist der Protektor 2 entsprechend der Anatomie der Fingergrundgelenke 4 mit jeweils vier Ausbuchtungen entsprechend den vier Fingern der menschlichen Hand ausgebildet. Sowohl jene dem Handrücken zugewandte Seite 7 als auch jene dem Handrücken abgewandte Seite 8 des Protektors 2 ist dabei anatomisch ausgebildet. - In
Fig. 3b ist eine alternative Ausführungsform des erfindungsgemäßen Protektors 2 im Bereich der Fingergrundgelenke 4 dargestellt, wobei lediglich jene dem Handrücken zugewandte Seite 7 anatomisch gebildet ist und jene dem Handrücken abgewandte Seite 8 entsprechend einer einfachen Herstellungsvariante beliebig, beispielsweise gerade geformt sein kann. - In einer alternativen nicht dargestellten Ausführungsvariante kann der zumindest eine Protektor 2 auch aus mehreren aneinander angeordneten Elementen, die zumindest bereichsweise konkav und/oder konvex gekrümmt sind, gebildet sein. Die Elemente können miteinander vollflächig oder nur teilweise, wie z.B. leiterförmig, verbunden sein. Bei einer leiterförmigen Verbindung kann in den Sprossenzwischenräumen ein Füllelement angeordnet sein, das ebenfalls die hitzebeständigen Eigenschaften des erfindungsgemäßen Handschuhs aufweist. Diese Füllelemente können einzeln oder ebenfalls miteinander verbunden sein. Die Ausbildung solcher Protektoren ist beispielsweise bei der Verwendung von Tormannhandschuhen bekannt.
- Die Anordnung des Protektors 2 kann sowohl unmittelbar an der Außenseite des Obermaterials der Handrückenseite 3 bzw. der Handinnenseite erfolgen beziehungsweise kann der zumindest eine erfindungsgemäße Protektor 2 im Bereich der Handrückenseite 3 bzw. der Handinnenseite mit zumindest einer Schicht des Obermaterials oder einem Besatz- material abgedeckt sein. In Richtung Hand kann der Protektor zumindest durch eine Schicht Futter bzw. Insert, wie z. B. eine semipermeable Membran, abgedeckt sein. In alternativen Ausführungsformen ist es auch möglich, den erfindungsgemäßen Protektor 2 zwischen mehreren Schichten des Obermaterials oder Futters der Handrückenseite 3 bzw. der Handinnenseite zu integrieren.
- Der Protektor 2 kann mit dem Handschuh 1 verbunden sein, beispielsweise durch Vernähen und/oder Verkleben. Des weiteren kann der Protektor 2 auch beispielsweise nicht direkt durch eine Naht mit dem Handschuh 1 verbunden sein, sondern so abgenäht werden, dass er an einer bestimmten Position im Bereich der Handrückenseite 3 des Handschuhs 1 gehalten wird bzw. in eine Ausnehmung, insbesondere taschenartige Ausnehmung, eingelegt bzw. eingeschoben werden kann. Ferner kann der Protektor 2 auch über Klammern, Druckknöpfe oder dergleichen mit dem Handschuh 1 verbunden werden.
- In einer Weiterbildung der Erfindung ist es möglich, neben den Protektoren 2, welche einerseits die hohe Temperaturstabilität aufweisen und andererseits auch hohe mechanische Beanspruchungen standhalten, auch andere Bestandteile eines Feuerwehrhandschuhs, wie beispielsweise Karabiner und/oder Ösen oder dergleichen aus einem thermoplastischen Elastomer, insbesondere Polyamid, zu fertigen, wobei diese Karabiner und/oder Ösen oder dergleichen eine Temperaturbeständigkeit bei 200°C für zumindest 9 sec aufweisen. Die Ösen können beispielsweise in Form von D- oder O-Ringen ausgebildet sein.
- Von Vorteil erweist sich zudem, dass die Nachbrennzeit des Obermaterials des Handschuhs 1 und des Protektors 2 des Handschuhs 1 weniger beziehungsweise max. 2 sec beträgt. Mögliche Materialen zur Herstellung des erfindungsgemäßen Protektors 2 sind wie bereits erwähnt thermoplastische Elastomere, wie beispielsweise Polyamide, wie sie unter den Handelsnamen Ultramid® der Firma BASF, der Bezeichnung Bergamid® der Firma Poly-One und der Bezeichnung Alcom® der Firma Albis Plastic GmbH vertrieben werden.
- Die Zusammensetzung für die Hartschale des Protektors 2 kann auch aus einer Mischung aus mehreren, handelsüblichen Polyamiden hergestellt werden, wie beispielsweise aus Alcom® und Ultramid®, z.B. aus 5% Alcom und 95% Ultramid, oder auch aus anderen Komponenten, die die Temperaturbeständigkeit erhöhen.
- Die erfindungsgemäßen hitzebeständigen Handschuhe, insbesondere Feuerwehrhandschuhe, mit den Protektoren 2 entsprechen sowohl der europäischen Feuerwehrnorm EN 659 als auch der australischen Feuerwehrnorm AS 2161.10 und der amerikanischen Feuerwehrnorm NFPA 1971. Des Weiteren entsprechen die erfindungsgemäßen Handschuhe 1 auch der Rescue Norm NFPA 1951 und weiteren weltweiten bekannten Normen, wie z.B. der EN 407 (thermische Risiken), der Norm gegen Hitze und Flammen, etc.
- Die erfindungsgemäßen Handschuhe 1 entsprechen somit den Anforderungen eines Feuerwehrhandschuhs, wobei bei einer Beflammungszeit zwischen 3 und 15 sec. die Nachbrennzeit kleiner als 2 sec. und die Nachglimmzeit kleiner als 5 sec ist. Der Abstand zwischen Flammenspitze und untersten Punkt des beflammten Handschuhs beträgt zwischen 10 und 30 mm. Der Handschuh kann senkrecht oder waagrecht beflammt werden. Das hierbei verwendete Material des Handschuhs tropft weder, noch schmilzt es bei der Beflammung und/oder die beflammte Stelle weist keinen Durchbruch auf.
- Ferner beträgt die Zeitspanne des Temperaturanstiegs beim Kontakt von Flammen mit dem Handschuh von 24°C an der nicht beflammten Stelle weniger als 13 sec.
- Bei einer Wärmestromdichte von 40 kW/m2 beträgt die Zeitspanne zum Temperaturanstieg von 24°C an der nicht beflammten Stelle von dem vom Handrücken entnommenem Material nicht weniger als 11 sec. Bei einer Kontakttemperatur von zumindest 250°C hält das Material des Innenhandaufbaus die Hitze für eine Dauer von zumindest 10 sec. ab, bevor eine Verbrennung 2. Grades entsteht. Zudem darf das Futtermaterial bei einer Mindesttemperatur von 180°C weder schmelzen, tropfen noch sich entzünden. Der Schrumpf des Handschuhs beträgt bei einer Mindesttemperatur von 180°C für eine Dauer von 5 min nicht mehr als 5 %.
- In einer Weiterbildung kann der hitzebeständige Handschuh im Bereich der Protektoren 2 Dämpfungs- bzw. Federelemente aufweisen, die einerseits die Stoßwirkung der Protektoren 2 vergrößert und andererseits aber auch die Kraft, die durch das z.B. Aufstoßen einer Tür auf den Träger einwirkt, verkleinert. Die Dämpfungs- bzw. Federelemente können als Feder, wie z.B. Schraubenfeder/Spiralfeder, Biegefeder, Ringfeder, Elastomerfeder bzw. Elastomerkissen ausgebildet sein. Vorzugsweise sind die Dämpfungs- bzw. Federelemente im Bereich der Protektoren 2 im Bereich der Fingergrundgelenke 4 auf der Handrückenseite 3 angeordnet. Selbstverständlich kann das Dämpfungs- bzw. Federelement auch im Bereich der Handkante, Handinnenfläche, Fingerendgelenke 5 und Schafts 6 angeordnet sein. Die Dämpfungs- bzw. Federelemente können auch vom Obermaterial, einer Abdeckplatte und/oder einem weiteren Protektor 2 bedeckt sein.
- Der Handrücken bzw. die Handinnenseite/fläche umfasst bei dem erfindungsgemäß beschriebenen Handschuh den Bereich von den Fingerspitzen bzw. der Daumenspitze bis zum Schaftende. Daher kann der erfindungsgemäße Handschuh 1 mit den Protektoren 2 sowohl für den Einsatz im Rescue Bereich als auch für den Einsatz im Feuerwehrbereich verwendet werden.
- Die Ausführungsbeispiele zeigen mögliche Ausführungsvarianten des Handschuhs 1, wo- bei an dieser Stelle bemerkt sei, dass die Erfindung nicht auf die speziell dargestellten Ausführungsvarianten derselben eingeschränkt ist, sondern vielmehr auch diverse Kombinationen der einzelnen Ausführungsvarianten untereinander möglich sind und diese Variationsmöglichkeit aufgrund der Lehre zum technischen Handeln durch gegenständliche Erfindung im Können des auf diesem technischen Gebiet tätigen Fachmannes liegt.
- Es sind also auch sämtliche denkbaren Ausführungsvarianten, die durch Kombinationen einzelner Details der dargestellten und beschriebenen Ausführungsvariante möglich sind, vom Schutzumfang mit umfasst.
- In den
Fig. 3a und 3b sind weitere und gegebenenfalls für sich eigenständige Ausführungsformen der/des Protektors 2 gezeigt, wobei wiederum für gleiche Teile gleiche Bezugszeichen bzw. Bauteilbezeichnungen wie in den vorangegangenenFig. 1 ,2a und 2b verwendet werden. Um unnötige Wiederholungen zu vermeiden, wird auf die detaillierte Beschreibung in den vorangegangenenFig. 1 hingewiesen bzw. Bezug genommen. - Der Ordnung halber sei abschließend darauf hingewiesen, dass zum besseren Verständnis des Aufbaus des Handschuhs 1 und Protektors 2 diese bzw. deren Bestandteile teil- weise unmaßstäblich und/oder vergrößert und/oder verkleinert dargestellt wurden.
- Die den eigenständigen erfinderischen Lösungen zugrundeliegende Aufgabe kann der Beschreibung entnommen werden.
- Vor allem können die einzelnen in den
Fig. 2a, 2b bzw. 3a, 3b gezeigten Ausführungen den Gegenstand von eigenständigen, erfindungsgemäßen Lösungen bilden. Die diesbezüglichen, erfindungsgemäßen Aufgaben und Lösungen sind den Detailbeschreibungen dieser Figuren zu entnehmen.
Claims (15)
- Hitzebeständiger Handschuh (1), insbesondere Feuerwehrhandschuh, mit zumindest einem Protektor (2) und insbesondere mit einem feuerfesten Obermaterial, wobei der zumindest eine Protektor (2) im Bereich des Handrückens, der Handinnenfläche und/oder Handkante angeordnet ist und eine konvexe bzw. konkave Krümmung und eine Temperaturbeständigkeit bei mindestens 200°C für zumindest 9 Sekunden aufweist,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
der Protektor (2) als Hartschale ausgebildet ist. - Hitzebeständiger Handschuh (1) nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet dass
Obermaterial und Protektor (2) so ausgebildet und angeordnet sind, dass Hitze neben dem feuerfesten Obermaterial des Feuerwehrhandschuhs auch durch den Protektor selbst abgeschirmt wird. - Hitzebeständiger Handschuh (1) nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
der Protektor (2) an der Außenseite des Obermaterials angeordnet ist. - Hitzebeständiger Handschuh (1) nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
die Handrückenseite oder die Handinnenfläche zumindest eine Schicht des Obermaterials und zumindest eine Schicht Futter aufweist und der Protektor (2) zwischen Obermaterial und Futter angeordnet ist oder in das Obermaterial integriert ist. - Hitzebeständiger Handschuh (1) nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
die Hartschale ein thermoplastisches Elastomer, insbesondere Polyamid, umfasst. - Hitzebeständiger Handschuh (1) nach Anspruch 5,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
das thermoplastische Elastomer- hochwärmestabilisiert ist und eine Schmelztemperatur ausgewählt aus einem Bereich mit einer unteren Grenze von 250°C und einer oberen Grenze von 350°C aufweist und/oder- glasfaserverstärkt, karbonfaserverstärkt,mineraliengefüllt und/oder glaskugelgefüllt ist. - Hitzebeständiger Handschuh (1) nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
das Material der Hartschale wenigstens eine der folgenden Eigenschaften aufweist- eine Kerbschlagzähigkeit (gemäβ DIN EN ISO 179/1eA) ausgewählt aus einem Bereich mit einer unteren Grenze von 3 KJ/m2 und einer oberen Grenze von 60 KJ/m2;- eine Bruchspannung (gemäβ DIN EN ISO 527-1/2) ausgewählt aus einem Bereich mit einer unteren Grenze von 40 MPa und einer oberen Grenze von 230 MPa;- eine Dichte ausgewählt aus einem Bereich mit einer unteren Grenze von 1,00 g/cm3 und einer oberen Grenze von 1,60 g/cm3 - Hitzebeständiger Handschuh (1) nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
die Hartschale zumindest an jener der Handrückenseite bzw. der Handinnenfläche zugewandten Seite (7) anatomisch geformt ist. - Hitzebeständiger Handschuh (1) nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
der Protektor (2) ein Erhitzen des Materials der Außen- und einer Innenhand bei einer Kontakttemperatur von zumindest 250°C für einen Zeitraum von zumindest 10 Sekunden abhält. - Hitzebeständiger Handschuh (1) nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
der Protektor im Bereich des Handrückens (3), der Fingergrundgelenke (4), Fingerendgelenke (5) und/oder des Schafts (6) der Handrückenseite und/oder im Bereich des Ulnarnerves bzw. Daumengrundgelenks der Handinnenfläche angeordnet ist. - Hitzebeständiger Handschuh (1) nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
der Protektor (2) mit dem Handschuh (1) verbunden ist, insbesondere durch Vernähen, Verkleben und/oder Einschieben. - Hitzebeständiger Handschuh (1) nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
ein Dämpfungs- bzw. Federelement im Bereich des zumindest einen Protektors (2), vorzugsweise im Bereich der Fingergrundgelenke (4), der Handkante und/oder Handinnenfläche angeordnet und insbesondere von einem weiteren Protektor (2) oder einer Abdeckung bedeckt ist. - Hitzebeständiger Handschuh (1) nach Anspruch 12,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
das Dämpfungs- bzw. Federelement als Feder, insbesondere Schraubenfeder, als Kissen, insbesondere umfassend ein Elastomer, ausgebildet ist. - Hitzebeständiger Handschuh (1) nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
zumindest ein Karabiner und/oder Öse umfassend ein thermoplastisches Elastomer, insbesondere Polyamid, am Handschuh (1) angeordnet ist/sind und der zumindest eine Karabiner und/oder Öse eine Temperaturbeständigkeit von mindestens 200°C für zumindest 9 Sekunden aufweist/en. - Hitzebeständiger Handschuh (1) nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
die Nachbrennzeit des Obermaterials und des Protektors (2) weniger als 2 Sekunden beträgt.
