Subsequently, the support plate 17 is pivoted from the vertical orientation by approximately 90 ° in the direction of the foot end of the operating table 1, wherein the guides remain in the orientation with the downwardly directed opening, the hooks but the lateral bolts enclose by the pivoting operation, and between the lateral bolts, the downwardly open fork-shaped guides and the hook creates a positive connection.
- the U-shaped guides prevent movement of the support plate 17 in the longitudinal direction of the operating table and the hooks prevent movement of the support plate 17 upwards.
- the support 19 By placing the support 19 on the universal receptacle 8 creates a positive connection between the support 19 and the universal receptacle 8, which additionally secures the universal receptacle 8 against pulling down. On the support 19 then the Schmidtstab 20 can be attached to apply a counterforce to the extension force.
- the extension spar 10 for receiving e.g. a Switzerlandspindelaggregat for applying the extension force can be coupled either at one of the third coupling points 9 or, if the Extensionsholm 10 is disturbing at this point, also at the fourth coupling point 14 at a Beinplattengelenk 13.
- the universal receptacle 8 can be easily removed by lifting the support plate 17 with pad and releasing the second coupling device 21 from the central spar 7, the orthopedic adapter 8 then down from the hip of the patient no longer has metallic parts that the creation of three-dimensional representations, although the patient's legs, still under the action of an extension, can undergo a three-dimensional diagnostic procedure intraoperatively.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an orthopedic adapter for an operating table, in particular an orthopedic adapter, which is suitable for a three-dimensional imaging.
Operating tables essentially consist of an operating table column and a patient support plate.
The column is either freely positionable with its own base plate or fixed to the floor of an operating room. The known columns may be height adjustable and / or inclinable so that the patient support plate mounted thereon is height adjustable and / or tiltable about one or more axes.
The patient support plate is either fixedly connected to the column or designed removable. The patient support plate is either formed as a one-piece bed surface, or has several table top segments. The tabletop segments are usually connected to each other by means of coupling points and Ankoppeleinheiten, so that a patient support plate is configurable in a desired size, which extends in a longitudinal direction.
In addition to the tabletop segments, which serve as lying surfaces, additional functions can be integrated into the tabletop segments. For orthopedic surgery, extension units, e.g. Orthopedic adapter, provided. With these extension units, for example, in the presence of a fracture in the leg area of the broken bone is pulled against the tension applied by the muscles in the original position, aligned by the orthopedist, and then fixed. The extension units are usually made of stainless steel and have a strength that is suitable both for applying a nearly horizontal tensile force and the moments that occur, as well as for other force applications, e.g. is sufficient by a lower leg or a gypsum aggregate, in which the force is applied in a different direction to the extension unit.
By intraoperative examination methods that create three-dimensional representation of the human body, such as computed tomography or an application of a C-arm, with an angle of rotation of about 135 ° per degree of angle, an image is generated, which is then assembled into a three-dimensional representation is placed the requirement on the operating table to have no metallic components in the receiving area. The presence of metallic components in the recording area causes disturbing artifacts such as e.g. bright spots in the representation generated, and thus rendering useless.
For this reason, at least parts of patient support surfaces made of non-metallic fiber composites and components of extension units for operating tables made of non-metallic materials have already been produced. This results However, the problem that the strength of the extension units, which have for the investigation method with the three-dimensional representation suitable non-metallic materials, is not sufficient for the possibilities of a conventional extension unit, namely the cultivation, etc. of all the accessories of the conventional extension unit.
This results in the task of providing an orthopedic adapter that, without sacrificing the application possibilities of a conventional extension unit, enables three-dimensional imaging examination methods.
The object is solved by the features of
An adapter of the type mentioned is designed so that a central spar consists of a non-metallic fiber composite material which extends in the longitudinal direction of the operating table to the foot end, and to which a separately formed universal receptacle is coupled.

The
The bearing surface segment 2b of the

The

The first coupling points 22 essentially have the shape of an angle. One leg of the angle is provided with a
On the
On the
The dimensions of the
In operation, after any leg plates have been removed from the leg plate joints 13, the
The extension spar 10 for receiving e.g. a Zugspindelaggregat for applying the extension force can be coupled either at one of the third coupling points 9 or, if the
In order to obtain the functionality of the conventional orthopedic adapter, in the
To create three-dimensional representations, the
