Definitions
- the invention relates to a can opener for opening cans with a can lid.
- Such a can opener is eg from the EP 2 028 155 A1 known.
- This known can opener has a holding means for receiving and holding the can and a Ausschnittesch for cutting at least a portion of the can lid.
- this known can opener When this known can opener is used to open beverage cans, it is difficult to prevent some of the cans from spilling or squirting during dosing of the can lid. This is especially the case when it comes to cans containing carbon dioxide-added beverages, e.g. Beer or lemonade, and in particular if these cans were shaken beforehand and / or opened in the mountains. Especially with beverages, such as Beer, lemonade or so-called energy drinks containing monosaccharides, disaccharides, oligosaccharides or other sweeteners, this leads to the opening of a large number of such doses over a longer period of several hours to a bonding of various functional elements of the can opener, but especially for bonding its holding means (jaws, etc.). Sooner or later malfunction of the can opener will occur. The operators of such a can opener must therefore always interrupt the opening of the beverage cans to remove the water-soluble bonds. In extreme cases, such a can opener must even be disassembled for its cleaning.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a can opener for opening cans with a can lid.
When this known can opener is used to open beverage cans, it is difficult to prevent some of the cans from spilling or squirting during dosing of the can lid.
The invention has for its object to eliminate the aforementioned problems of the can opener described above, or at least significantly reduce.
To solve this problem, the invention provides a can opener for opening cans, especially of beverage cans, with a Can lid, the can opener having a holding means for receiving and holding the can and a Ausschnittemittel for cutting at least a portion of the can lid, characterized in that the can opener has a shielding means which is located above the holding means and at least over portions of the holding means above extends and covers this.
This ensures that a large part of the spilled or spilled on opening the cans is kept away from the can-holding means, so that ultimately a sticking of the can-holding means can be practically excluded.

A drive means in the form of a
At the lower
The
If you move the
When the
When the
The

The
The
To insert a
Since the two
