In particular, there is known from the prior art devices comprising a container and a dispensing head to be fixed to one another, if necessary by welding, to be made of the same material in order to avoid any incompatibility of material. (x).

The document DE20311719U discloses for example a product packaging and dispensing device comprising a dispensing head, of the service capsule type, and a container body, made of a same plastic material such as polyethylene, welded to one another.

However, a disadvantage associated with such a device is that it can be considered as heavy in the technical field considered, high cost, and complex manufacturing.

An object of the present invention is therefore to provide a device overcoming at least one of the aforementioned drawbacks.

Par exemple un but est de procurer une économie de matière première de l'ordre de 50%.An object of the present invention is to provide a device requiring only a few component parts for its production. In particular, an object of the present invention is to provide a device requiring very little material for its production. For example, a goal is to provide a raw material saving of the order of 50%.

An object of the invention is also to provide a very lightweight weight conditioning device.

An object of the invention is still to provide a device requiring little energy for its implementation. Another object of the present invention is to provide an easily recyclable device.

Accordingly, an overall object of the present invention is to provide an ecological device, easy to manufacture, simple to implement and moderate cost.

An object of the present invention is also to provide a nomadic device, easily transportable.

Another object of the present invention is still to provide a device for product distribution without substantial effort of the user.

An object of the present invention is also to provide a device perfectly sealed to the product contained inside the device, in particular between the dispensing head and the container, and perfectly sealed to the ambient air.

An object of the present invention is still to provide a device of overall aesthetic appearance, in particular having one or more lines of welds, sharp and resistant.

Another object of the invention is finally to provide a device resistant to passage in a sterilization chamber such as autoclave to reduce the use of preservatives.

  • a container body,
  • a distribution head welded on this body,
one of the body and the head comprising a layer of a mixture of polypropylene and polyethylene, and the other being made of polypropylene, the polyethylene of the polypropylene and polyethylene mixture being preferably present at a level of 20 to 50% .

This characteristic makes it possible, despite the technical prejudice that provides for making two parts to be welded to one another in the same respective material, to improve the welding of the two parts relative to each other and to benefit from a clean weld line. Such a characteristic thus makes it possible to ensure a good fixing of the dispensing head on the container body, thus conferring on the one hand a good sealing of the device at the level of the assembly line and, on the other hand, an aesthetic effect on the device. They also provide great strength to the shock of the device.

The expression "mixture of polypropylene and polyethylene" is intended to cover a mixture composed of polypropylene and polyethylene interacting with each other by energetic bonds, for example of the Van der Walls type, or by covalent bonds, and is also intended to cover a mixture of ethylene monomers and propylene monomers bound together as one or more ethylene-propylene copolymers.

The container body can be obtained from the blend of polyethylene and polypropylene. This container body may be from a monolayer sleeve, not laminated. Alternatively, it may be from a sleeve made of several layers, for example obtained by coextrusion or by gluing by means of an adhesive such as EVOH provided between two layers. The container body may therefore comprise one or more layers, where appropriate each consisting of the mixture of polyethylene and polypropylene, comprising a polypropylene, in one of its forms, mixed with a polyethylene, under one of its forms described below.

The dispensing head may in turn comprise one or more layers composed solely of polypropylene in one of its forms, or a mixture thereof. Such forms are described below.

By "polypropylene" is meant amorphous, crystalline, highly crystalline, isotactic, syndiotactic or atactic polypropylene or a mixture thereof, or cast polypropylene. This polypropylene may be a linear homopolymer, connected or star-shaped. The polypropylene used is advantageously amorphous or semi-crystalline.

Par « polyéthylène », il convient d'entendre polyéthylène à masse molaire élevée, polyéthylène à haute densité, polyéthylène réticulé à haute densité, polyéthylène à moyenne densité, polyéthylène à basse densité, polyéthylène réticulé à basse densité, polyéthylène linéaire à basse densité et polyéthylène à très basse densité. Le polyéthylène linéaire à basse densité est préféré."Polyethylene" means high molecular weight polyethylene, high density polyethylene, high density crosslinked polyethylene, medium density polyethylene, low density polyethylene, low density crosslinked polyethylene, linear low density polyethylene and polyethylene at very low density. Linear low density polyethylene is preferred.

The compositions according to the invention can be prepared very easily by mixing the constituents in the molten state.

A common method for producing the mixture of polypropylene and polyethylene consists in producing a mixture of polypropylene granules, for example amorphous granules, and polyethylene granules, for example linear low density, and then directly transforming this mixture into a distribution head. or preferably in container body, on an implementation machine for example of the extruder type or injection molding machine.

Another method may also consist of a mixture of polypropylene powder, for example amorphous, and of polyethylene powder, for example linear low density powder, which is converted into a dispensing head, or preferably into a container body. directly or after intermediate granulation.

In practice, compositions containing from 20 to 50% by weight of polyethylene, for example linear low density, can be prepared in order to obtain the desired properties, such as increased flexibility and cold stretchability. and hot, and increased strength. These qualities are sought in particular for processing by extrusion blow molding, extrusion stretching or thermoforming. The implementation of these techniques is facilitated and the objects obtained have better characteristics, while maintaining the appearance of amorphous polypropylene.

Furthermore, a method for carrying out a copolymerization of ethylene and propylene may in particular be carried out by a fluidized bed manufacturing method.

It may have a melting temperature Tf of between 130 and 170 °. Its density can be between 0.890 and 0.910 g / cm3, and in particular can be of the order of 0.905 g / cm3. The polypropylene used in the present invention is for example sold under the name MOPLEN RP 210G® by the company LYONDELL BASELL.

The polyethylene used in the present invention may have a glass transition temperature Tg of between 105 and 110 ° C. and in particular of the order of 108 ° C. It may have a melting temperature Tf of between 120 and 125 °. Its density can be between 0.860 and 0.960 g / cm3, and in particular can be of the order of 0.920 g / cm3. The polyethylene used in the present invention is sold under the name DOW LEX 2045G® by Dow Chemical.

The mixture of polypropylene and polyethylene may have a glass transition temperature Tg of between 100 and 110 ° C. and in particular of the order of 108 ° C. It may have a melting temperature Tf of between 160 and 170 °. Its density may be between 0.88 and 0.92 g / cm3, and in particular may be of the order of 0.90 g / cm3.

The container body may have a wall thickness strictly less than 0.6 mm, in particular between 0.3 and 0.4 mm. It may have an axis of elongation X, and may have a section taken transversely to this axis of polygonal shape, such as square, or circular or oval.

The container body may not be derived from a laminate but from an extrusion die of annular profile, in particular circular or oval. It may be devoid of distribution collar. In other words, it may be devoid of a shrinking shoulder from which a neck rises. This body can thus be a tube of substantially regular section and this over substantially its entire height, for example on at least 90% of its height, better 95%, even 98% or 100%.

The dispensing head may comprise a base comprising a dispensing opening, a shutter, optionally attached, mounted movably between a closed position and a release position of said opening. In particular, this flap can be pivotally mounted on said base between a closed position and a release position of said opening. This base and this flap can be made of material, the flap being connected to said base by a hinge-film. This flap can alternatively be articulated by a hinge with reported axle.

This dispensing head can be obtained by injection molding. Such a dispensing head can thus be of the capsule-service type. Such a dispensing head may be mono or bi-material. This base and this flap may thus come from a single piece made of a respective material, identical or separate.

The base may comprise a peripheral skirt having a rounded portion, optionally provided with one or more relief (s), for welding the container body on the dispensing head.

This base may comprise reinforcing means arranged on either side of said dispensing opening, intended to facilitate the assembly and use of the device. These reinforcing means may comprise curved profile ribs.

The container body and the dispensing head may be secured to one another by thermal welding, in particular by friction, hot gas, hot strikes, or by laser or ultrasound.

The device can have a maximum curb weight of 20g. Advantageously, this weight can be between 7 and 18 g, for example between 11 and 16 g and in particular of the order of 13 g. Such a weight is suitable for example for a body of container having a capacity of 200mL and a diameter of the order of 50mm. In particular, the empty body can weigh between 7 and 9g, in particular about 8g. The dispensing head can weigh between 4 and 7g, including about 5g.

The Figures 1 to 3 represent a first embodiment of a device for packaging and dispensing a product, in particular a cosmetic product, including a care product, a pharmaceutical product or an agro-food product.

This device comprises on the one hand a container 1 and on the other hand a dispensing head 2.

The container 1 can define an axis of elongation X. This axis can be an axis of revolution. This container may comprise a container body or side wall 10 comprising two opposing openings called lower and upper, respectively sealed on the one hand by a bottom 11, optionally attached, and on the other hand covered with the dispensing head 2.

According to the invention, the container body 10 and the dispensing head 2 are welded together, one being made of polypropylene, the other made of a mixture of polypropylene and polyethylene.

The container body 10 may come according to a preferred embodiment of the cutting of a sleeve or extruded tube through a die of corresponding profile, in particular annular. Such a body can result from extrusion blow molding.

The container body 10 may have a section, taken transversely to the axis of elongation X of the container, of polygonal shape, such as square, or circular or in this case, oval.

According to a preferred embodiment, the container body 10 can be obtained from the blend of polyethylene and polypropylene.

The polypropylene of this mixture may be chosen from polypropylene amorphous, crystalline, highly crystalline, isotactic, syndiotactic or atactic or a mixture thereof, or cast polypropylene. This polypropylene may be a linear homopolymer, connected or star-shaped. Amorphous polypropylene is preferred.

The polyethylene may advantageously be a linear low density polyethylene. The polyethylene may advantageously be present at a level of 20 to 50% while the polypropylene may be present at a level of 80 to 50%.

This container body 10 may be formed of a single layer of this mixture. Alternatively, the container body may consist of several superimposed layers, or coaxial, each made from this mixture. This container body can thus be made in the form of a laminated or unlaminated sleeve, laminated or not.

When made in several layers, the container body 10 can be made by coextrusion of said layers.

Cette épaisseur peut-être avantageusement comprise entre 0.3 et 0.4mm.Such a container body 10 may have a thickness strictly less than 0.6 mm, better at 0.5 mm. This thickness may advantageously be between 0.3 and 0.4 mm.

The bottom 11 of the container 1 can be made in one piece with the container body 10. It may for example be formed by fixing the edges of the lower opening of the container by any appropriate means, such as by gluing, welding, or other.

According to an alternative embodiment, for example illustrated on the figure 6 , the bottom 11 may be attached to the lower opening of the container body, and fixed by any appropriate means, such as by gluing, welding, or other.

The dispensing head 2 may be of the capsule service type. Such a dispensing head may comprise a base 20 comprising a dispensing opening 200 and a cover or flap 21.

This flap 21 may be pivotally mounted on said base so as to be movable between a closed position and a release position of said opening 200. To do this, a hinge may be provided in the rear part of the flap.

The flap 21 may include a sealing bush 210 configured to snugly engage said opening 200 in the closed position.

Such a flap 21 may also include a flat or recess 211, located in front of the flap, opposite the hinge 24 whose function will be discussed later in the description.

The base 20 may comprise a plate 22 through which said opening 200 is provided. This base may also comprise a peripheral skirt 23.

This skirt 23 may comprise an outwardly flaring portion 230, possibly to a free end 233. Such a portion may thus be of curved or rounded profile.

The skirt 23 may comprise one or more reliefs 232 whose function will be mentioned later in this description. These reliefs may be provided on the rounded portion 230. Such reliefs may comprise one or more rings (s) annular (s), if appropriate concentric. Alternatively, they may comprise several protuberances, discretely and circumferentially distributed.

In the closed position of the opening 200 by the flap 21, the recess 211 of the flap may be positioned in the extension of the recess 231. Such recesses 211, 231 may then used to position a finger of the user, and in particular of the thumb, in order to facilitate the raising of the flap 21 relative to the base 20, when the latter wishes to rotate said flap of its closed position towards its position of release of the opening 200.

In particular, this dispensing head can be made of material. More specifically, this head can be made by molding, and in particular by injection molding. The base 20 and the flap 21 can be articulated in rotation by means of a hinge-film 24.

According to a preferred embodiment, the dispensing head 2 is made of polypropylene. Here again, the polypropylene used may be amorphous, crystalline, highly crystalline, isotactic, syndiotactic or atactic polypropylene or a mixture thereof, or cast polypropylene. This polypropylene may be a linear homopolymer, connected or star-shaped. Nonlinear amorphous polypropylene is preferred.

The dispensing head 2 is welded to the container body 10. In particular, this head and this body can be welded to one another by ultrasonic energy. The ultrasonic frequencies used can be between 20 kHz and 100 kHz. The energy consumed may be less than 1200 Joule, better below 600 Joule, for example between 200 and 500 Joule, for example of the order of 250 to 350 Joule. Such a weld can be performed in a time interval of between 0.05 and 2 seconds. Alternatively, a thermal or laser weld can be implemented.

The Figures 4 to 6 represent a second embodiment of a device for packaging and dispensing a product according to the invention. For the sake of clarity, only the differences of this second embodiment with respect to the first embodiment will be mentioned.

In this example, the container body 10 comprises a section taken transversely to the elongation axis X of circular shape. This section may be of substantially regular size over the entire height container body, for example over at least 90% of its height, better 95% or more.

The bottom 11 may optionally be attached to the lower opening of the container body 10 and fixed by any appropriate means such as gluing, welding or other.

The base 20 may comprise reinforcing means 220 for stiffening the dispensing head. These means may comprise a rib extending from the plate 22. In particular, these means may comprise two ribs extending on either side of the dispensing opening 200. Such ribs may have a curved profile. They may extend along the periphery of the plate 22. These ribs may be useful both for the manufacture of the device and for its use. In particular, they may provide more stability to the dispensing head when the container body 10 is welded to the skirt 23 or when the device is shelves, or more operable of this device in use. Ribs may alternatively or additionally be provided on the skirt 23. They may extend inside or outside this base.

Une telle pente favorise une meilleure restitution de produit s'écoulant du récipient 1 au travers de l'ouverture 200.The plate 22 may be at least partly inclined at an angle α relative to a cutting plane transversely to the axis of elongation X. In particular, the plate may comprise a groove 221 defined by the ribs 220. This groove may be traversed by the distribution opening 200. This groove may extend along an inclined face relative to the cutting plane transversely to the axis of elongation X along said angle α. This angle α may for example be between 1 and 60 °, in particular of the order of 15 ° C. Such a slope promotes a better return of product flowing from the container 1 through the opening 200.

Dans cet exemple de réalisation, l'ouverture 200 peut être excentrée relativement à l'axe d'allongement X.In this embodiment, the opening 200 may be eccentric relative to the axis of elongation X.

Such a groove 221 can define a housing for the positioning, by shape correspondence, of the shutter 21 in the closed position.

The product packaged in said device according to the invention may be a cosmetic product, including care, pharmaceutical or food processing. Such a product may be in fluidic form. The cosmetic product may for example be a perfume, a sunscreen, a self-tanner, a makeup product such as an eye shadow, a blush or a foundation or a care product such as an anti-wrinkle cream or a moisturizer, a hair product such as a shampoo or gel, or other.

It should be noted that according to another conceivable embodiment, the container body 10 may consist of polypropylene, for example from extrusion blow molding, and the dispensing head 2 may be obtained from the polyethylene mixture and the polypropylene, for example by injection-molding.

Throughout the description, the expression "comprising a" or "comprising a" must be considered to be synonymous with "comprising at least one" or "comprising at least one" unless the contrary is specified.
