Claims (11)
- A method for the printing of printing paper (1) from a roll using a décor (2) having at least one décor pattern (3) for use in 2-dimensional components, particularly in floor, wall, ceiling, or furniture applications, wherein cut markings (6, 7, 8) are printed on the margin of the printing paper (1) in addition to the décor (2), defining adjacent paper sections (10, 11, 12), on which the décor patterns (3) are located, and wherein the printing paper (1) is being printed by means of a digital printing method via a digital printing device,
characterized in that
after interruption of the printing process and subsequent continuation, at least one cut marking (6, 7, 8) is printed in dependency of the printing quality of the décor (2). - The method according to claim 1, characterized in that after interruption of the printing process and subsequent continuation, at least one cut marking (6, 7, 8) is printed in dependency of the function of the digital printing device.
- The method according to one of the previous claims, characterized in that the print of a cut marking (6, 7, 8) may be initiated manually, and/or automatically.
- The method according to one of the previous claims, characterized in that the printing quality of the décor (2) may be monitored automatically.
- The method according to one of the previous claims, characterized in that the printing quality may be monitored by means of an optical monitoring device.
- The method according to one of the previous claims, characterized in that the optical monitoring device compares the current printing result to a predetermined printing quality, and in case of a predetermined conformity of the current printing result with the predetermined printing quality, automatically initiates the printing of a cut marking (6, 7, 8).
- The method according to one of the previous claims, characterized in that a continuous marginal strip marking (17), having at least one longitudinally extending color strip (18), extending parallel to the décor (2) is printed on the margin, and that the printing quality is monitored in dependency of the marginal strip marking (17).
- The method according to claim 7, characterized in that the color of the color strip (18) corresponds to the color of the print head.
- The method according to claim 7, characterized in that the number of color strips (18) of the marginal strip marking (17) corresponds to the number of active print heads of the printing device.
- A digital printing device for the printing of printing paper (1), comprising a décor (2) with at least one décor pattern (3) for use in 2-dimensional components, particularly in floor, wall, ceiling, or furniture applications, wherein an optical monitoring device is provided for monitoring the printing quality of the décor,
characterized in that
a controller coupled to a monitoring device is provided, which automatically initiates the printing of a cut marking (6, 7, 8) after interruption of the printing process and subsequent continuation with a predetermined conformity to the current printing process at the predetermined printing quality. - The printing device according to claim 10, characterized in that the monitoring device comprises at least one optical sensor for monitoring the printing quality of the décor.
