Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein elektrisches Installationsgerät mit Ladegerät für ein USB-Gerät (Universal Serial Bus). The invention relates to an electrical installation device with charger for a USB device (Universal Serial Bus).
To charge the battery of a USB device, a variety of chargers is known. In order to charge a USB device, you must have the appropriate / suitable charger to hand, connect to the USB device to be charged and plug the charger into an available power outlet.
The invention has for its object to provide an electrical installation device with charger for a USB device, which allows energy-optimized charging a USB device.
- whereby the front of the device base is provided with a USB charging connection socket for the connection of a USB charging connection plug of a USB device,
- wherein a mechanical on / off switch is disposed between the terminal and the input of the charger,
- wherein at least two switch contacts of the on / off switch are opened or closed by using a spring-loaded plunger carrying out a translational movement or a spring-loaded rocker executing a rotary movement,
- whereby, when inserting the USB charging connector into the USB charging port, a housing edge of the USB charging connector pushes directly or indirectly against the plunger or against the rocker, thereby actuating the on / off switch.
The achievable with the present invention consist in particular in that a universal charger, respectively, a permanently installed at a user place, space-saving charging station for almost all popular brands and types of USB devices is created as a flush-mounted device in a commercial flush-mounted box. The result is a simple connection of the USB device by plugging in the USB charging connector. It eliminates any search for the right charger, the charging station is always located in the same place. It is a shapely integration / integration in an installation equipment program respectively switch and socket program and a combination with other devices, such as switches / buttons / dimmers / sockets, this switch and socket program possible.
In any case, the proposed installation device is optimized in terms of power consumption, because there is a primary side shutdown of the charger by mechanical switch operation, as soon as the USB charging connector is pulled out of the corresponding USB charging connector. The charger is then disconnected from the power grid and does not consume primary standby power.
When purchasing a new USB device, the proposed charging station will of course continue to be used. On the one hand, this results in a cost advantage, since the purchase of a new charger is eliminated, on the other hand results in a reduction of industrial waste and thus ultimately a reduction in CO2 emissions.
Advantageous embodiments of the invention are characterized in the subclaims.
