Definitions
- the present invention relates to a shoe bottom having a midsole body having a midsole body, the midsole body extending from a heel region via a midfoot region to a ball toe region and having at least one air inlet opening and at least one air outlet opening interconnected by a ventilation channel formed in the midsole body. and with an outsole disposed on the underside of the midsole body.
- a ventilated shoe floor known.
- air may enter through air vents and flow through channels through the sole body and perforations formed in an insole toward a user's sole.
- the provided at this shoe bottom air openings have a small flow area, which leads to a lower circulation of air and what brings the risk of contamination or even blockage of the small openings by dirt and / or water with it.
- Puncture-like air openings are also rather disadvantageous for an appealing design of a walker or shoe with such a shoe bottom.
- the object of the invention is to develop a generic shoe bottom such that with sufficient ventilation allows an attractive appearance becomes. Furthermore, the risk of contamination should be reduced.
- the air inlet opening and / or the air outlet opening of the generic shoe floor has or have a covering arrangement which partially covers the opening or openings.
- Such a cover arrangement makes it possible on the one hand to cover the air inlet or air outlet openings against dirt and water and on the other hand the cover arrangement visually acts as an interruption of the opening, since it extends through or into it. In this case, the opening is visually perceptible reduced, whereby a required for optimum ventilation flow cross-section for circulating air can be maintained.
- the cover arrangement is preferably designed such that the air inlet opening or air outlet opening visually appear at least partially closed. As a result, not only does the visually perceptible opening become smaller, but the opening is at best perceived as closed or absent, so that the design of the shoe bottom or of the associated shoe can be improved.
- the cover assembly comprises a plurality of lamellar cover elements arranged side by side in the running direction, which are arranged such that air can circulate between them. It is proposed that the lamellar cover elements extend from an upper edge portion of the respective opening to a lower edge portion, wherein they are preferably inclined to the shoe bottom longitudinal direction. Furthermore, the lamellar cover with respect to a for Shoe bottom longitudinal direction orthogonal transverse direction to be inclined.
- the lamellar cover elements are inclined so that adjacent cover elements in their respective parallel projection in the transverse direction touch or overlap an opening plane containing the opening. For example, if a person looks closer to the opening when looking closely at such a shoe when buying, generally at a certain distance from the shoe, the person's gaze will strike the opening plane substantially orthogonally so that it closes the opening perceives.
- the cover assembly comprises at least one lid-like cover member which projects from an upper edge portion of the respective opening in this downward.
- a further cover member is provided on the lid-like cover member, which partially covers a space formed between the lid-like cover member and a lower edge portion of the respective opening.
- the air inlet or air outlet duct extending behind the partially covered air inlet opening or air outlet opening to the ventilation channel may be designed in such a way that, in cooperation with the cover arrangement, it visually makes the opening in question appear to be closed.
- the air inlet or air outlet channel is preferably S-shaped, for which purpose at least one deflecting element projecting into the relevant channel is preferably provided in the air inlet or air outlet channel.
- the shoe bottom in a running direction Rear portion of the heel area both on the outside and inside each have an air inlet opening and in the metatarsal area and / or ball-toe area both outside and inside air outlet openings are provided.

- the shoe bottom 12 comprises a running surface or sole 16.
- the shoe bottom extends from a heel region 18 via a midfoot region 20 to a ball-toe region 22.
- air inlet openings 24 are provided on the shoe bottom 12 in the heel region and in the midfoot region and / or toe -Ballen Scheme are formed air outlet openings 26.
- the shoe bottom has air inlet openings 24 and air outlet openings 26 both on in the Fig. 1 apparent outside of the shoes 10 and on their insides.
- Fig. 2 shows in plan view a midsole body 28 of a shoe sole 12 associated midsole.
- the midsole body has in each case an air inlet opening 24 in a rear section 30 of the heel region 18 seen in the direction of travel L, both on the inside of the shoe floor 32 and on the outside of the shoe floor 34.
- Under the shoe bottom inside 32 is the side facing the other shoe of a pair side and with the shoe bottom outside 34 to the side facing away from the shoe bottom 12 to understand.
- midsole body 28 in the midfoot region 20 and in the ball-toe region 22 both on the inside of the shoe bottom and on the outside of the shoe shoe each have five air outlet openings 26. Seen in running direction L.
- the midfoot region 20 connects to the heel region 18 and the ball toe region 22 connects to the midfoot region 20, each of these regions extending over approximately one third of the shoe bottom length.
- the two air inlet openings 24 are connected to one another via a ventilation channel 36 formed by a depression in the midsole body. This has in the heel area 18 two V-shaped legs 38 which lead to a respective air inlet opening 24. Subsequently, the ventilation channel 36 in the running direction L or shoe bottom longitudinal direction S a distributor portion 40, are connected to the channel branches 42, which lead to the respective air outlet openings 26.
- Both the air inlet openings 24 and the air outlet openings 26 have a width or height of preferably at least 4 mm, the length of which is preferably at least twice as large as said width. It is therefore relatively large openings that promote good air circulation.
- the air inlet openings 24 and the air outlet openings 26 have a relatively large flow cross-section, as indicated by the minimum dimensions indicated above, they act Openings like dark holes in the shoe bottom, which is not particularly advantageous for design reasons. To counteract this adverse visual impression and also to prevent the risk of ingress of dirt and water, have the air inlet openings 24 and air outlet openings 26 each with reference to the Fig. 5 and 6 subsequently described cover assemblies 50, which cover the respective openings 24, 26 partially.
- Fig. 5 shows in the sub-figures a) to c), a first embodiment of a cover assembly 50 for air inlet openings 24 and air outlet openings 26.
- the cover assembly 50 includes a plurality of juxtaposed lamellar cover 52, extending from an upper edge portion 54 of the opening 24, 26 to a lower edge region 56 extend.
- the lamellae 52 are arranged substantially parallel to one another and are inclined relative to the shoe longitudinal direction S, preferably at an angle ⁇ .
- adjacent lamellae are arranged at a distance LA from each other, this distance allows the passage of air into the air duct 38 into or out of the air duct 42 out, as indicated by the corresponding arrows in the sectional view Fig. 5b is apparent.
- the lamellar cover elements are further inclined relative to a shoe bottom transverse direction Q (orthogonal to the longitudinal direction S) arranged at an angle ⁇ .
- a shoe bottom transverse direction Q orthogonal to the longitudinal direction S
- adjacent cover elements in their respective parallel projection in the transverse direction appear to be very close to one another, touching or overlapping on an opening plane OE containing the opening, so that the slats visually make a closed opening appear.
- This visual effect is exemplary in the Projection plane in a plane parallel to the opening plane OE 'shown.
- adjacent lamellae appear to be arranged very close to one another, namely a smaller distance LV compared to the distance LA.
- this distance LV can be changed, and it can also be zero if adjacent slats overlap or touch each other in the projection.
- the second embodiment of a cover assembly 50 is in the Fig. 6a to d shown.
- the cover assembly 50 here has a lid-like cover member 52 'projecting from an upper edge portion 54 of the respective opening 24, 26 in this.
- a free space 60 is formed, which allows the passage of air.
- a further cover element 52 can be provided on the lid-like cover element 52 ', which further covers the free space 60.
- This cover element 52" can also be regarded as a pupil, so that the opening 24, 26 with eyelid 52' and pupil 52 "as eye can be perceived.
- deflection elements 62 may be provided in the channel 38, 42, which lead to an S-shaped channel.
- the lower deflecting element 62 acts as a further visual covering element, so that the opening 24, 26 is visually perceived as closed. This effect can be further enhanced by choosing a bright color for such a deflecting element, which despite its return into the channel 38, 42 is visible from outside, so that the impression of a bright Area in the opening 24, 26 is formed, which can be perceived, for example, as white of an eyeball.
- the S-shaped configuration of the channel also effectively supports the already reduced by the lid-like cover penetration of dirt and water.
- Fig. 5 and 6 Cover assemblies shown for the respective openings are also interchangeable. That is, the lamellar cover elements could also in openings with the shape according to Fig. 1b . 3 and 6 be used. The same applies, of course, for the lid-like cover, which in openings with the shape according to Fig. 1a . 3 and 5 can be used.
- the cover elements shown in the two embodiments are preferably made of plastic and can be color matched to the respective shoe type. The shape and the material of the cover are to be chosen such that they easily withstand the occurring deformations due to the forces acting on walking movements of a user. Further, a deflecting element 62 according to Fig. 6d in an air duct 42 according to Fig. 5c be provided together with the lamellar cover 52.
- Fig. 1 These are walkers with a special shoe-bottom construction known as "Masai Barefoot Technology", MBT for short, and also known as the Swiss Masai label.
- MBT walkers have a convexly rounded shape in the running direction L, with an inserted soft heel part, the so-called “Masia sensor”.
- the midsole has a reinforcing element integrated therein, called a “shank”, which reinforces the midsole so that it is also substantially rigid in its section located above the heel area. Due to the deliberately soft and destabilizing made shoe bottom construction of the MBT-walker loses the foot for the physiological locomotive characterizing support and support.
- the cover assemblies can also be designed from a designerischen point of view, that they are the character of the shoe, for example, sporting design, comfort design, children's version or the like, carried out according to or supportive.
- slats can be used rather for a comfort shoe

Puncture-like air openings are also rather disadvantageous for an appealing design of a walker or shoe with such a shoe bottom.
The object of the invention is to develop a generic shoe bottom such that with sufficient ventilation allows an attractive appearance becomes. Furthermore, the risk of contamination should be reduced.
To solve this problem, it is proposed that the air inlet opening and / or the air outlet opening of the generic shoe floor has or have a covering arrangement which partially covers the opening or openings.
Such a cover arrangement makes it possible on the one hand to cover the air inlet or air outlet openings against dirt and water and on the other hand the cover arrangement visually acts as an interruption of the opening, since it extends through or into it. In this case, the opening is visually perceptible reduced, whereby a required for optimum ventilation flow cross-section for circulating air can be maintained.
The cover arrangement is preferably designed such that the air inlet opening or air outlet opening visually appear at least partially closed. As a result, not only does the visually perceptible opening become smaller, but the opening is at best perceived as closed or absent, so that the design of the shoe bottom or of the associated shoe can be improved.
According to a first preferred embodiment, the cover assembly comprises a plurality of lamellar cover elements arranged side by side in the running direction, which are arranged such that air can circulate between them.
In order to give the visual impression of a closed opening, it is proposed that the lamellar cover elements are inclined so that adjacent cover elements in their respective parallel projection in the transverse direction touch or overlap an opening plane containing the opening. For example, if a person looks closer to the opening when looking closely at such a shoe when buying, generally at a certain distance from the shoe, the person's gaze will strike the opening plane substantially orthogonally so that it closes the opening perceives.
According to a second embodiment, the cover assembly comprises at least one lid-like cover member which projects from an upper edge portion of the respective opening in this downward. In this case, a further cover member is provided on the lid-like cover member, which partially covers a space formed between the lid-like cover member and a lower edge portion of the respective opening.
In both embodiments, the air inlet or air outlet duct extending behind the partially covered air inlet opening or air outlet opening to the ventilation channel may be designed in such a way that, in cooperation with the cover arrangement, it visually makes the opening in question appear to be closed. In this case, the air inlet or air outlet channel is preferably S-shaped, for which purpose at least one deflecting element projecting into the relevant channel is preferably provided in the air inlet or air outlet channel.
In order to achieve a uniform ventilation, it is further proposed that the shoe bottom in a running direction Rear portion of the heel area both on the outside and inside each have an air inlet opening and in the metatarsal area and / or ball-toe area both outside and inside air outlet openings are provided.
The invention further relates to a walking device with a shoe bottom according to the invention and with a shaft arranged on the shoe bottom.

Furthermore, the
The two
The lamellar cover elements are further inclined relative to a shoe bottom transverse direction Q (orthogonal to the longitudinal direction S) arranged at an angle β. One can also speak of a rotation of the individual slats about their respective longitudinal axis LL. By virtue of this inclination or twisting, adjacent cover elements in their respective parallel projection in the transverse direction appear to be very close to one another, touching or overlapping on an opening plane OE containing the opening, so that the slats visually make a closed opening appear. This visual effect is exemplary in the Projection plane in a plane parallel to the opening plane OE 'shown. It turns out that in the illustrated embodiment, adjacent lamellae appear to be arranged very close to one another, namely a smaller distance LV compared to the distance LA. Depending on the dimensioning and / or inclination or rotation of the slats, this distance LV can be changed, and it can also be zero if adjacent slats overlap or touch each other in the projection.

Even if the improved air inlet openings or air outlet openings have been presented with the partial cover on the example of MBT walkers, this is in no way a limitation to this type walker. Rather, inventive shoe bottoms with partially covered vents even in conventional Shoes, such as sneakers, running shoes, low shoes and the like are used.
