- Folding sliding wall (1) consisting of at least two surface elements (2, 2') which are interconnected by hinges in an articulated manner and which are disposed in a guide consisting of at least one floor rail and one ceiling rail (4), wherein the surface elements (2, 2') can be displaced laterally in the floor and ceiling rail (4), and wherein each surface element (2, 2') consists of a frame (8, 8') comprising two substantially perpendicular sides with a filling and the frame (8, 8') of at least one first surface element (2) is coupled on one side by means of fittings such as carriages in the floor and ceiling rail (4) and wherein the second side of the first surface element (2) or the first side of the neighbouring second surface element (2') which is connected to the first surface element (2) by means of the hinges, is assigned a locking fitting (7) driven directly by means of a handle which can be locked at the bottom and/or at the top in the floor and/or ceiling rail (4),
characterized in that
the directly driven locking fitting (7) is assigned at least one entrainer (14) which cooperates with a second entrainer (14') of the neighbouring surface element (2') connected via the hinges and that the second entrainer (14') serves as a drive for a locking fitting (7') of the neighbouring surface element (2'), wherein the locking fitting (7') of the neighbouring surface element (2') can also be locked in the floor and/or ceiling rail (4). - The folding sliding wall (1) according to claim 1,

the entrainers (14, 14') project from the front sides of the opposite sides of the surface elements (2, 2') connected by the hinges. - The folding sliding wall (1) according to claim 1 or 2,

the entrainers (14, 14') can be brought into or out of the active position during lateral displacement of the surface elements (2, 2'). - The folding sliding wall (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 3,

at least one entrainer (14) has a U shape and may receive the second entrainer (14') between its legs. - The folding sliding wall (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 4,

the entrainers have skew planes (16, 16') which are aligned onto one another, which are able to compensate for tolerances when two entrainers (14, 14') are brought into the active position. - The folding sliding wall (1) according to claim 1,

the locking fittings (7, 7') consist of a metal core (10, 10'), that at least the upper and/or lower ends thereof are mounted in guide sleeves (9, 9') and that the locking fittings (7, 7') at the ends thereof have rectangular closing elements (11, 11') which engage in the floor and/or ceiling rail (4), which are also guided in the guide sleeves (9, 9'). - The folding sliding wall (1) according to claim 6,

the guide sleeves (9, 9') can be introduced into the frame (8, 8') and can be held on the frame (8, 8') by means of locking means (13, 13'). - The folding sliding wall (1) according to claim 6 or 7,

the closing elements (11, 11') are detachably connected to the metal core (10, 10') of the locking fittings (7, 7'). - The folding sliding wall (1) according to at least one of claims 1 to 5 and according to at least one of claims 6 to 8,

the entrainers (14, 14') are connected to the locking fittings (7, 7') in the region of the guide sleeves (9, 9') and project from the guide sleeves (9, 9') and the frames (8, 8') holding these.
