Description

The invention relates to a fall protection for securing construction sites according to the features in the preamble of the protection claim. 1

In the prior art fall protection for the protection of road construction sites are known, with an arranged between vertical supports barrier sheet, which is formed by a blow body made of plastic ( EP 1 388 612 B1 ). If such a fall protection with its frame construction has a height of at least 1 m, a length of about 2 m and additionally has a touch bar in the lower height range, it forms a mobile fall protection for the protection of pedestrians. In addition, the space between the barrier leaf and the bottom touch bar must be closed with load-bearing nets or braids with a mesh size of at most 75 mm as additional protection, with a fabric as splash guard or over the entire surface. Between the touch bar and the barrier sheet and vertical supports can be incorporated.

Such fall arresters are very light and are fixed by concrete feet on the ground. Several such fall arresters are connected to each other in the head area via couplings. A simple design of a coupling provides a bolt, which is guided transversely to the longitudinal extent of the fall protection by the support and forms, so to speak, the pivot axis for a bracket which can be placed around an adjacent support ( DE 20 2004 010 529 U ). The disadvantage of such an arrangement is that the bracket and the pivot axis forming bolts protrude laterally beyond the fall protection and so are cumbersome when stacking or transporting the fall protection and in particular lead to scratching the reflective coating of the fall protection. Furthermore, such a coupling is a hindrance to pedestrians who move parallel to the fall protection and use the upper portion of the barrier sheet in a sense as a handrail.

The invention is based on the object to provide a fall protection, with a coupling that does not protrude laterally as possible over the width of the fall protection, is easy to handle and as flush as possible adjoins the top of the barrier sheet.

This object is achieved by a fall protection with the features of claim 1.

Vorteilhafte Weiterbildungen des Erfindungsgedankens sind Gegenstand der Unteransprüche.Advantageous developments of the inventive concept are the subject of the dependent claims.

The fall protection according to the invention is characterized in that the coupling is configured in a U-shape and has two coupling pins, which are connected to one another via a web. The coupling is captively connected to a support of the fall protection and has a coupling pin which is displaceable in the axial direction of the support, so that the other coupling pin can be used in the axial direction in a support of the adjacent fall protection.

It is assumed that the vertical supports are open at their upper ends, so that the coupling pins can be used. In the embodiment of the coupling according to the invention, it is possible to make it so narrow that it does not protrude beyond the width of the barrier sheet or fall protection, so that it does not come to damage adjacent fall protection even when stacking and transporting. In addition, the bridge inevitably covers by the engaging in the supports coupling pins from the upper ends of the supports, so that the bridge can be used as a kind of horizontal extension of the upper edge of the barrier sheet and thus as a handrail. The web should therefore not be too deep but complete within the scope of manufacturing tolerances with the upper edge of the barrier sheet. The impression that the coupling is a handrail is also aided by the fact that the bridge in coupling position does not protrude upwards beyond the height of the barrier leaf and, in particular, by virtue of the fact that the metal bridge, which is usually made of metal, rests on its upper side provided with a plastic cover. It is also possible to completely manufacture the coupling from plastic, so that the web is not only provided with a plastic cover, but even made of plastic, for example, HDPE exists.

In an advantageous embodiment of the inventive idea, the fact is taken into account that adjacent supports of two fall protection devices do not always run parallel to one another. This is the case, for example, when the slope of the terrain changes. As a result, the supports are at an angle to each other. While the lower ends of the columns are usually set in a common base in their distance from each other, a length compensation is required at the top of the columns. This is achieved in that at least one coupling pin in the longitudinal direction of the web relative to this is displaceable. The displaceability is not only in the unmounted state, but also when adjacent fall arresters are coupled together. In particular, the web has at least one slot, which is penetrated by a pin holding the coupling pin. The bolt is preferably made of metal, while the remaining components of the coupling (web, coupling pin) can be made of plastic or metal. But also the bolt can out Plastic exist. In principle, the web can also have two elongated holes, so that each coupling pin is displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the web. The coupling pins can be arranged with play against this web, so that the coupling pins can not only be moved parallel to each other, but also can be at a certain angle to each other, so that the coupling pins do not clamp in the supports. In principle, the coupling pins are dimensioned in their diameter so that they are easily displaced within the supports in the axial direction and have play, so that the longitudinal axes of the coupling pins with respect to the longitudinal axes of the supports can be at a small angle. It is also conceivable that the coupling pins have a geometry which allows a certain angular compensation between the supports. The coupling pins can therefore be formed at least in sections as a truncated cone.

One of the coupling pins should have an insert sleeve, with a longitudinally extending pocket, in which a summarizes the axial displacement of the coupling pin extract safety. The pull-out safety device can be a simple screw that is screwed into the support in the radial direction. The bag may be formed as a longitudinal groove. In this case, in a solid composite of the insert sleeve with a sleeve passing through the insert sleeve, a radial pivoting of the web can be prevented, so that the web can not project laterally over the barrier sheet. In principle, however, the pocket can also be configured as a circumferential recess / twist and thus virtually as a radial groove. In this case, a pivoting of the web about the longitudinal axis of the support is possible, whereby an even higher variability of fall protection is possible. In particular, different corner configurations can be realized in such an embodiment, for example, bends by 45 °. But this is also basically possible in fall protection, in which the web of the coupling is not pivotable relative to the supports.

The other coupling pin, which is intended to be used in an adjacent support, should be adapted to the inner cross section of the support Use have. Again, it may be an insert sleeve made of plastic, rubber or metal, which is fixed in position by a bolt, in particular in the form of a screw. By a lock, for example in the form of a screw, the coupling pin can be secured against pulling out.

On the underside of the removable coupling pin protrusions may be arranged, which are arranged at a distance to each other so that the coupling pin when it is removed from the support, can be clamped on top of a barrier sheet. The noses are then on both sides of the top, so that they can hold the fall protection 1 by positive locking by clamping.

FIG. 1 shows a fall protection 1 with a barrier sheet 2 made of plastic, which extends between two vertical supports made of metal 3, 4. The fall protection 1 therefore has at the distance below the barrier sheet 2, a touch bar 5 and extending between the touch bar 5 and the barrier sheet 2 bars 6. The entire fall protection 1 is with the exception of the supports 3, 4 as Blow molding produced, wherein it depends on the configuration of the upper corner portion of the fall protection 1 in the context of the present invention. Several such fall arresters 1 can be arranged side by side, wherein the vertical supports 3, 4 are held down in concrete feet and the upper ends are connected to each other via couplings. The structure of such a coupling will be described below with reference to FIGS. 2 to 4 described.

FIG. 2 shows a U-shaped configured coupling 7 with two coupling pins 8, 9, which are inserted from above into the adjacent columns 3, 4 of the fall protection 1. The two coupling pins 8, 9 are in the axial direction of the supports 3, 4, ie in the image plane in the vertical direction, displaced, wherein a displacement of a coupling pin 8 also leads to a displacement of the other coupling pin 9, since the coupling pins 8, 9 via a web 10, as he is in FIG. 4 is shown connected to each other. The web 10 is a flat iron with extending in its central longitudinal plane slots 11, 12. In FIG. 2 It can be seen that the web 10 is provided with a plastic cover 13, which extends to the height of the top 14 of the illustrated barrier sheet 2. In this plastic cover 13 recesses 15 are recessed, in which screw heads 16 of bolts 19, 20 are introduced, which on the one hand pass through the slots 11, 12 in the web 10 and on the other hand, an insert sleeve 17 made of plastic left in the image plane left coupling pin 8 and a The insert sleeve 17 and the insert 18 are matched in their outer diameter to the inner diameter of the supports 3, 4, so that the coupling pins 8, 9 with slight play within the supports. 3 , 4 are axially displaceable. About bolts 19, 20, the insert sleeve 17 and the insert 18 are connected to the web 10 captive.

The elongated holes 11, 12 ( FIG. 4 ) are within the web (10) and are limited at the ends, so that only a limited longitudinal displacement in the longitudinal direction is possible. They do not open in the manner of a laterally emerging from the web 10 slot in the front side or the longitudinal side of the web 10, but are located at a distance from the front or longitudinal side of the web 10. As a result, the coupling pins 8, 9 held captive on the web 10.

The insert sleeve 17 of the left in the image plane coupling pin 8 is about twice as long as the insert 18 of the right coupling pin 9. As a result, the left in the image plane coupling pin 8 is still securely guided within the support 3, if already the right coupling pin 9 from the associated support tube 4 has been pulled upwards. So that the left in the image plane coupling pin 8 can not be completely pulled out of the support 3, a pullout guard 21 is provided in the form of a screwed radially into the support 3 screw. This screw holds in a pocket 22, which is not formed in this embodiment as a longitudinal groove, but as a circumferential diameter taper of the insert sleeve 17. The pocket 22 is open toward the lower end of the insert sleeve 17, wherein a disc 23 held by the bolt 19 closes the pocket 22 on the front side, so that the disc 23 effectively acts as a stop for the safety catch 21.

From the sectional views of FIG. 3 It is clear that such a pull-out protection 21 is formed only on the left in the image plane coupling pin 8, whereas the right in the image plane coupling pin 9 is free to move axially at least for insertion. As a result, only one such coupling 7 is permanently assigned to a fall protection 1. In addition, the right coupling pin 9 can be secured with a lock 24, for example in the form of a screw on the support 4 against pulling out. The detent 24 is offset in this embodiment by 90 ° for orientation of the pull-out 21 of the other coupling pin eighth

The embodiment of the FIGS. 5 and 6 is different from the one of FIG. 2 with regard to the configuration of the coupling 7a. The web 10 a is no longer provided with a cover, as in the embodiment of the FIG. 2 , Also eliminates depressions in the top. The screw heads 16a are flat dome-shaped head screws, so-called carriage bolts, which do not interfere with the handrail. Preferably, the tool surface of the screw heads 16a is formed as a hexagon socket, so that it is not too Injuries can occur if a passerby touches the fall protection 2 in the area of the coupling 7a. The web 10a is pivotable relative to the coupling pins 8a, 9a. For this purpose, the bolts 19 a, 20 a rotationally mounted in the coupling pin 8 a, 9 a. It is set a corresponding game.

The coupling pins 8a, 9a are preferably made of plastic, just as the web 10a may be made of plastic. In the plastic of the coupling pin 8a, 9a a Gewindekem 25 is cast in each case. The Gewindekem 25 consists of a plastic material with respect to the solid, in particular metal and holds the bolts 19 a, 20 a. Preferably, the bolts 19a, 20a are glued to the threaded core 25.

Unlike the embodiment of the FIG. 2 the bolts 19a, 20a do not fully penetrate the coupling pins 8a, 9a, but are in blind holes. As a result, at the left in the image plane coupling pin 8a, the lower end is closed, with the result that the pocket 22a is formed only as a longitudinally extending slot in the coupling pin 8a. Another difference is that, instead of the pull-out fuse 21 designed as a screw, a rivet is now provided as a pull-out guard 21 a.

About this rivet and other rivets that spread over the length of the support 3, the barrier sheet 2 is connected to the metallic support 3.

Likewise, as with the left in the image plane coupling pin 8a with the bag 22a, even in the right in the image plane coupling pin 9a only a short bolt 20a is provided, which is also located in a blind hole. In contrast to the embodiment of the FIG. 2 are arranged at the coupling pin 9a at the bottom in a diametrical arrangement downwardly projecting lugs 26. These lugs 26 are not a circumferential collar, but two projections which are arranged at a distance to each other so that the coupling pin 9a, when it has been removed from the support 4, can be clamped on the top 14 of the barrier sheet 2 , Based on FIG. 6 can be seen that the top 14 is tapered so that the lugs 26 on both sides of the top 14 adjacent the fall protection 1 by Can hold positive locking by clamping. This is just a temporary and temporary clamp. A stable connection of two fall protection devices 1 is possible only by positive engagement of the coupling 7a in the adjacent supports 3, 4.

Out FIG. 6 is in the same configuration as in the FIG. 4 to recognize that in the oblong holes 11a, 12a, the bolts 19a, 20a are arranged with their screw heads 16a.
