Abstract

A wall-mounted dishwasher comprises: -a casing (2) in turn comprising a bottom opening (3); -a carriage (4) which can be pulled out of the casing (2) through the bottom opening (3) and which is mobile between a first configuration and a second configuration, the carriage (4) comprising means (5) for positioning the dishes to be washed and which are, in the first configuration, at least partly inside, and in the second configuration, outside the casing (2); -at least a first and a second duct (6, 7) for conveying a washing liquid, one of the two ducts (6, 7) being immovable relative to at least one fixed portion of the casing (2) and the other being integral with the carriage (4). The first duct (6) comprises a first end stretch (61) which, at least when the carriage (4) is in the first configuration, faces a section (75) defined by the second duct (7) for the passage of the washing liquid, thus allowing the washing liquid to be conveyed between the first and the second duct (6, 7).

Wall-mounted dishwasher
Technical Field
This invention relates to a wall-mounted dishwasher that can be used, for example, in home kitchens.
Prior Art
Wall-mounted dishwashers are known which comprise a wall-mounted outer casing and a mobile carriage which can slide vertically in and out of the outer casing. The mobile carriage comprises means for positioning the dishes to be washed. Water from the mains is supplied to the mobile carriage through a hose of suitable length. Thanks to its flexibility, the hose adapts to the movements of the carriage, enabling fluid communication between the water mains and the carriage, also during dishwasher operation, even when the carriage is outside the outer casing. Dishwashers of this kind are not free of disadvantages.
In particular, when the carriage is moved, the hose is subjected to bending and deformation which tend to accelerate wear and breakage or can lead to its being pulled out of place. Further, movements can also create sharp bends in the hose which hinder correct water flow through it.
Disclosure of the Invention
The aim of this invention is to overcome the above mentioned drawbacks by providing a wall-mounted dishwasher with an improved washing liquid supply and drainage system.
These aims and others, which are more apparent in the description which follows, are achieved, in accordance with the invention, by a wall-mounted dishwasher with the structural and functional characteristics described in the appended independent claims. Alternative embodiments of the dishwasher are described in the dependent claims. Brief Description of the Drawings

Detailed Description of the Preferred Embodiments of the 30 Invention
With reference to the accompanying drawings, the reference numeral 1 denotes a wall-mounted dishwasher comprising.

The carriage 4 comprises means 5 for positioning the dishes to be washed; said means 5 being, in the first configuration, at least partly inside, and in the second configuration, outside the casing 2. In particular, in the first configuration, the positioning means 5 are fully inside the casing 2. The dishwasher 1 comprises at least a first and a second duct 6, 7 for conveying a washing liquid, one of the two ducts 6, 7 being immovable relative to at least one fixed portion of the casing 2 and the other being integral with the carriage 4. The first duct 6 comprises a first end stretch 61 which, at least when the carriage 4 is in the first configuration, faces a section 75 defined by the second duct 7 for the passage of the washing liquid. In this way, the washing liquid can be conveyed between the first and the second duct 6, 7. In particular, there are no intermediate ducts between the first and the second duct 6, 7. The first and second ducts 6, 7 are rigid.
The dishwasher 1 comprises a washing tank 700. The carriage 4 comprises a closing portion 8 which, in the first configuration, completely occludes the bottom opening 3. In the first configuration, a washing cycle can be carried out (for example, see Figures 1, 3, 5, 7 and 13a) . The closing portion 8 forms part of a base 80 at the bottom of the carriage 4. A washing liquid drain trap is also formed in the base 80. The closing portion 8, in combination with the casing 2, seals the washing tank 700 to prevent washing liquid from leaking out. Advantageously, the bottom parts of the substantially vertical walls forming part of the casing 2 and delimiting the sides of the washing tank 700 are inclined towards the inside of the washing tank 700 (embodiment not illustrated) . This facilitates the collection of the water in the bottom central part of the tank 700 where there is a drain trap and helps prevent water from leaking out of the dishwasher 1. The closing portion 8 comprises a perimetric lip 81 extending upwardly in relief. When the carriage 4 is in the first configuration, the perimetric lip 81 fits into a matching groove 82 formed on the part of the casing 2 facing the closing portion 8 of the carriage 4 to further reduce leakage of the washing liquid. To further improve the tightness between the closing portion 8 and the casing 2, there is a seal made of rubber or other equivalent material. In the second configuration, the closing portion 8 is away from the bottom opening 3 (for example, see Figures 2, 4, 12 and 13e) . The first and second configurations of the carriage 4 correspond 5 to the two end positions permitted by the movement of the carriage 4.
The dishwasher 1 comprises hooking means 83 for retaining the carriage 4 when the latter reaches the end of its movement in the first configuration. Advantageously, the hooking means 83
10 are of mechanical type and are engaged when the carriage 4 reaches the first configuration. Thus, the carriage 4 is held safely in the first configuration. To allow the carriage 4 to move from the first to the second configuration, the hooking means 83 can be disengaged from the carriage 4.
I5 Figures 6, 11 and 12 illustrate an example of the hooking means 83. The hooking means 83 comprise a body 830 rotatably connected to the casing 2 through a pin 831. In a first zone 834 of it, this body 830 comprises a housing 832 which, when the carriage 4 is in the first configuration, accommodates an insert 833 of the
20 carriage 4 itself. The body 830 comprises a second zone 835 opposite the first zone 834 with respect to the pin 831. The second zone 835 is connected to a fixed point 836 of the casing 2 through elastic means 837. When the carriage 4 passes from the second configuration to the first, the elastic means 837 are 5 first compressed to a maximum value and then return to a less compressed state. In particular the body 830 is illustrated in Figure 6 where its two limit positions are drawn with continuous lines. A continuous line also illustrates the body 830 in the position where the carriage 4 engages the body 830 (in this
30 case, the body 830 is in the same position as in Figure 12 where the carriage 4 is disengaged from the hooking means 83) . The dashed lines, on the other hand, represent the body 830 when the carriage 4 is in the first configuration (see also Figure 11) . When the carriage 4 is in the first configuration, the weight of
35 the carriage 4 is unable to overcome the force applied by the elastic means 837. The carriage 4 is thus held in the first configuration. To move the carriage 4 from the first to the second configuration, it is therefore necessary to apply an additional force sufficient to overcome the resistant action of the elastic means 837.
When the carriage 4 is pulled out of the casing 2, the carriage 5 4 moves from a starting limit position corresponding to the first configuration to an end limit position corresponding to the second configuration. When the carriage 4 goes back into the casing 2, on the other hand, the carriage 4 moves from an end limit position corresponding to the second configuration to a
10 starting limit position corresponding to the first configuration .
The second duct 7 comprises a second end stretch 71 which, at least when the carriage 4 is in the first configuration, faces the first end stretch 61.

The second end stretch 71 comprises a funnel 72 whose cross section narrows in the direction of flow of the washing liquid.

30 The nozzle 62 extends round a first axis 620. The funnel 72 extends round a second axis 720. The first and second axes 620, 720 are vertical. More generally, when the carriage 4 is in the first configuration the axes along which the first and second end stretches 61, 71 extend are coincident.

Where the nozzle 62 and the funnel 72 form part of means 871 for supplying the washing liquid, the verticality of the axes 620, 720 facilitates the passage of the washing liquid by gravity from the first end stretch 61 to the second end stretch 71.
Advantageously, the first and second end stretches 61, 71 are 5 rigid.
Especially if the first and second ducts 6, 7 form part of means 870 for draining the washing liquid, in the first configuration the first end stretch 61 is at least partly inside the second duct 7 (for example, see Figures 3, 4). In this case,
10 advantageously, in the first configuration, the first end stretch 61 is inside the second end stretch 71.
Conveniently, inside the washing tank 700 there is a rotary sprayer 76 equipped with nozzles that distribute the jet of washing liquid in the washing tank 700, thus facilitating the
I5 cleaning of the dishes. The sprayer 76 might be of traditional type or of the type described in US patent 5579789. Advantageously, in the carriage 4, along the means 871 for feeding the washing liquid to the washing tank 700, the dishwasher 1 comprises a softener 84 for reducing the hardness 0 of the washing liquid. On the bottom 70 of the washing tank 700 there is a filter 84. Downstream of the filter 84 there is a channel 85 for conveying the washing liquid to the sprayer 76. A first pump 86 for the washing liquid is mounted along the channel 85 for conveying the washing liquid to the sprayer 76. S Downstream of the filter 84 there are also means 870 for draining the washing liquid, said drainage means 870 comprising a second drainage pump 87. The first and/or the second pump 86, 87 form part of the pumping means. Alternatively, there is a single pump instead of the first and 0 second pumps 86, 87. In this case, downstream of the filter 84 (relative to the direction of washing liquid outflow) there is a single duct along which the single pump is mounted. Downstream of the single pump, there is an electric flow diverting valve. Depending on its configuration, the electric valve diverts
3S washing liquid either to the channel 85 that conveys the washing liquid to the sprayer 76 or to the drainage means 870. When the carriage 4 is in the first configuration, the portion 8 that closes the bottom opening 3 in combination with the casing 2, delimits and bounds the washing tank 700.
When the carriage 4 is in the first configuration, an interface 63 between the first and the second duct 6, 7 is located in the S washing tank 700 and any washing liquid that has leaked out as it passes between the first and the second duct 6, 7 collects on the bottom 70 of the washing tank 700.
Along a duct integral with the fixed portion of the casing 2 and forming part of the washing liquid supply means 871 (for
10 example, the duct 6 in Figures 1 and 2 or the duct 9b in Figures 3 and 4) the dishwasher 1 comprises an electric valve 838 for regulating the washing liquid supply. Along a duct integral with the fixed portion of the casing 2 and forming part of the washing liquid drainage means 870 (for example, the duct 9a in
I5 Figures 1 and 2 or the duct 7 in Figures 3 and 4) the dishwasher 1 comprises a non-return valve 839 to prevent backflow (for clarity of illustration, the electric valve 838 and the nonreturn valve 839 are shown only in Figure 5) . Reference is now made to the embodiment illustrated in Figures 1
20 and 2.
The first and second ducts 6, 7 form part of the means 871 for supplying the washing liquid to the washing tank 700. Relative to the direction in which the washing liquid flows out along the supply means 871, the first duct 6 is upstream of the second
2S duct 7 and is integral with the fixed portion of the casing 2. The second duct 7 is integral with the carriage 4. The dishwasher 1 comprises a third and a fourth duct 9a, 10a forming part of the washing liquid drainage means 870, the third duct 9a being immovable relative to the fixed portion of the
30 casing 2, and the fourth duct 10a being integral with the carriage 4. The third duct 9a comprises a third end stretch 90a which, at least when the carriage 4 is in the first configuration, faces a section 77, formed by the fourth duct 10a, for the passage of the washing liquid, so as to allow the
3S washing liquid to pass from the third to the fourth duct 9a, 10a. The third and fourth ducts 9a, 10a are also rigid. In the first configuration, the third and fourth ducts 9a, 10a are in contact with each other to enable the washing liquid to be drained out. In the second configuration, the third and fourth ducts 9a, 10a are spaced apart. In the first configuration, the zone of contact between the third and the fourth duct 9a, 10a is 5 inside the washing tank 700. In this case, too, any washing liquid that leaks out as it passes between the third and fourth ducts 9a, 10a collects in the bottom 70 of the washing tank 700, In the first configuration, the first and second ducts 6, 7 are spaced from each other. More specifically, in the first
10 configuration, the first end stretch 61 and the second end stretch 71 are not in contact with each other. The minimum distance between the first and the second end stretch 61, 71 is preferably about 20 millimetres. This minimum distance is preferably measured vertically. This minimum distance is
I5 important because in the event of a fall in pressure in the main water supply, air is sucked into the first duct 6 and a mixture of water and detergent does not flow back from the second duct 7 to the first duct 6. The first end stretch 61 and the second end stretch 71 are not inserted into one another. The first end
20 stretch 61 is completely outside the second end stretch 71.
Reference is now made to the embodiment illustrated in Figures 3 and 4.
The first and second ducts 6, 7 form part of the means 870 for draining the washing liquid out of the washing tank 700.
25 Relative to the direction in which the washing liquid flows out along the drainage means 870, the first duct 6 is upstream of the second duct 7. In this embodiment, the second duct 7 is advantageously integral with the fixed portion of the casing 2 and the first duct 6 is integral with the carriage 4.
30 The dishwasher 1 comprises a third and a fourth duct 9b, 10b forming part of the washing liquid supplying means 871. The third duct 9b is immovable relative to the fixed portion of the casing 2. The fourth duct 10b is integral with the carriage 4. The third duct 9b comprises a third end portion 90b which, at
3S least when the carriage 4 is in the first configuration, faces a section 78, defined by the fourth duct 10b, for the passage of the washing liquid. In this way, the washing liquid can be conveyed between the third and the fourth duct 9b, 10b. Advantageously, in the first configuration, the first and second ducts 6, 7 are located side by side to form an uninterrupted channel. If necessary, a seal might be provided between the 5 first and the second duct 6, 7 in order to improve fluid tightness. In this case, however, the force required to pass from the second configuration to the first would be greater because of the additional force needed to overcome the elastic resistance of the seal. Advantageously, the first end stretch 61
10 of the first duct 6 comprises a perimetric groove for housing the seal. The seal is advantageously perimetric, of the 0-ring type. In an alternative embodiment, the first and the second duct 6, 7 might comprise quick-release coupling means for connecting them to each other (for example of the type available
I5 on the market under the trade name "RECTUS Series 21KA") . The above description referring to the embodiment of Figures 3 and 4 in connection with the seal, the seal housing and the quick- release coupling means might also apply to the embodiment of Figures 1 and 2 by respectively substituting the first and
2Q second ducts 6, 7 of Figures 3 and 4 with the fourth and third ducts 10a, 9a of Figures 1 and 2.
As illustrated by way of example in Figures 3 and 4, in the first configuration, the third and fourth ducts 9b, 10b are spaced from each other. This offers the same advantages as those
25 of the embodiment of Figures 1 and 2, described above, mainly in connection with the need to avoid backflow along the means 871 for supplying water to the tank 700 (so that the mixture of water and detergent does not enter the third duct 9b) . The embodiment of Figures 1 and 2 and the embodiment of Figures 3
30 and 4 are identical even if the same components are denoted by different reference numbers. The ducts 9b and 10b of Figures 3 and 4 can be attributed with the same technical characteristics attributed above, whether directly or indirectly, to the ducts 6 and 7 of Figures 1 and 2. Similarly, the ducts 9a and 10a of
3S Figures 1 and 2 can be attributed with the same technical characteristics attributed above, whether directly or indirectly, to the ducts 7 and 6 of Figures 3 and 4. As illustrated by way of example in Figure 5, the casing 2 comprises at the top of it an inspection door 11 giving access to a maintenance compartment 110 located above the washing tank 700 and designed to house: water connections and/or an 5 electronic card for controlling the dishwasher and/or electrical connections and/or a safety interlock which prevents the wash cycle from starting if the carriage 4 is not raised completely in such a way as to guarantee the watertight closure of the washing tank 700 and the fluid connection between the first and
10 the second duct. Advantageously, by opening the compartment 110, the user also accesses the above mentioned hooking means 83 which lock the carriage 4 in place when it reaches its limit position in the first configuration. The maintenance compartment 110 is advantageously located above the washing tank 700 so as
I5 to minimize the lateral dimensions of the dishwasher 1. The inspection door 11 can be of the hinged or sliding type. The position of the door 11 at the top of the dishwasher means it is hidden from the view of the user, who is usually lower down. The inspection door 11 is therefore useful for electrical and/or
20 water connections and for maintenance operations in general.
Reference is now made to Figure 5. A space 111 is formed between the washing tank 700 and the top 112 of the dishwasher 1. The space 111 may comprise the maintenance compartment 110. The space 111, outside the maintenance compartment 110, may be used
25 to house auxiliary devices such as, for example: an electric motor for moving the carriage 4, a drying fan, a fixed sprayer for wetting the dishes from above, etc. For clarity of illustration, only the parts of the washing liquid supply means 871 and of the drainage means 870 at the maintenance compartment
30 110 are shown.
In a non-limiting example embodiment:
- the space 111 extends for approximately 15 centimetres in height;
- the casing 2 which delimits the sides of the washing tank 700 3S extends for approximately 37 centimetres in height;
- the closing portion 8 which protrudes from the casing 2 when the carriage 4 is at the limit position in the first configuration extends for approximately 8 centimetres in height. The invention also has for an object to provide a method for mounting the wall-mounted dishwasher according to the invention on a wall, said method comprising the steps of:
5 - placing a template provided with reference marks for making holes for the electrical and water connections on the wall; - drilling holes for the electrical and water connections at the template reference marks. Advantageously, the template may comprise a spirit level to
10 enable quick alignment with the horizontal. The template comprises a rectangular pattern approximately 50-58 centimetres wide and 10-15 centimetres high. The template is less wide than the dishwasher 1 (which is typically 60 centimetres wide) , so that it is completely hidden from view when the dishwasher 1 is
I5 mounted. The references for the holes for the wall mounting hooks of the dishwasher 1 are located at the ends of the long side of the template. In particular, these references are located within 5 centimetres of each of the two ends of the long side of the template. The references for the holes for the
20 electrical wiring and for the water pipes are located further towards the middle.
Advantageously, the dishwasher 1 comprises electrical power supply means for powering the electrical components located in the carriage 4: for example, the pumping means, an electronic
25 user interface, etc.
A first embodiment might comprise an electrical conductor wire and means for winding said wire. In this case, the length of the wire when unwound from the winding means must be sufficient to permit connection with the carriage 4. Obviously, the length of
30 unwound wire varies when the carriage 4 moves between the first configuration and the second.
A second embodiment might comprise a wire of predetermined length sufficient to supply the carriage 4 in the first, second and intermediate configurations.
35 In another embodiment, there might be a first connector integral with the carriage 4 and a second connector fixed to the casing 2. The first and second connectors make a make/break type contact. In particular, in the first configuration (where operation of the pumping means must be enabled) , the first and second connectors make contact. In the second configuration, on the other hand, the first and second connectors are spaced apart so that electrical contact is disabled. In this case, in the second configuration, the user interface located on the carriage 4 is powered by a battery, advantageously rechargeable, or by a photovoltaic panel (the photovoltaic panel being, if necessary, associated with a battery of the type described in patent EP727823) .
Another embodiment of the power supply means for the electrical components integral with carriage 4 is described below. For a brief description of the operation of the wall-mounted dishwasher, refer to the embodiment illustrated in Figures 1 and 2. Generally speaking, during use, when the carriage 4 is in the first configuration, the washing liquid is drawn from the main water supply and pumped into the first duct 6 and from there, through the interface 63 and into the second duct 7. The rotary sprayer 76 sprays the washing liquid into the washing tank 700 under pressure so as to wash the dishes placed on the positioning means 5. The liquid used for washing collects at the bottom of the tank 700 where the drain trap is located. The washing liquid to be drained is drawn from the trap through the fourth duct 10a and then conveyed into the third duct 9a to be discharged into the water mains.
When the carriage 4 is lowered from the first configuration towards the second configuration, an interlock prevents more water from being pumped in from the mains, water supply and drainage with respect to the water mains being possible only when the carriage 4 is in the first configuration.
As illustrated by way of example in Figures 13a to 13e, during the passage between the first configuration and the second, the carriage 4 follows a path that has a component of horizontal movement and a component of vertical movement. Advantageously, the movements according to the horizontal and vertical components occur simultaneously. In particular, the dishwasher 1 comprises means 89 for moving the carriage 4. The means 89 for moving the carriage 4 comprise longitudinal guides 88 along which the carriage 4 slides. The guides 88 are immovable relative to at least one fixed portion of the casing 2. The casing 2 comprises a front wall 21 that confronts a vertical 5 reference plane outside the dishwasher 1, the passage of the carriage 4 from the first configuration to the second causing the carriage 4 to move closer to the reference plane (which is purely imaginary and therefore not illustrated) . To facilitate the passage from the second configuration to the first and to
10 "soften" the passage from the first configuration to the second, the carriage is connected to counterweights. The carriage 4 might be conveniently motor-driven. Alternatively, a handle 91 might be provided on the front of the dishwasher 1, said handle 91 being used to release the carriage 4 and to make it easier to
I5 move the carriage 4.
In the embodiment illustrated in Figures 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, the means 89 for moving the carriage 4 advantageously comprise an articulated quadrilateral, preferably an articulated parallelogram. The articulated quadrilateral comprises a frame 0 891 integral with the casing 2 and a link rod 892 integral with the carriage 4.
The articulated quadrilateral also comprises two arms 893 connecting the link rod 892 and frame 891 of the articulated quadrilateral. As is known in the trade, the frame of an S articulated quadrilateral is the fixed part of the articulated quadrilateral, while the link rod is the mobile component opposite the frame and connected to it by two arms. Advantageously, there is a damper 79 operatively interposed between the casing 2 and the articulated quadrilateral (more
30 specifically, the damper 79 should be interposed between the casing 2 and at least one of the two arms 893 of the articulated quadrilateral) . This prevents the carriage 4 from dropping abruptly. In an example embodiment illustrated in Figures 5, 7, 8, 9, 10,
3S 11, 12, the means for powering the electrical components integral with the carriage 4 comprise an electric cable 894 of constant length which is made to pass through one of the two arms 893 of the movement means 89. This electric cable 894 (drawn with a dashed line in Figure 5) thus places the electrical components located on the carriage 4 in communication with a power source outside the carriage 4. This particular embodiment avoids the use of cable reels and loose cables inside the washing tank 700.
This invention has important advantages.
First of all, it allows the carriage to be connected to the water mains in a manner that allows the carriage maximum freedom of movement.
Another important advantage is that it improves the durability of the water connection of the carriage, avoiding the risk of pipe disconnections and reducing wear and tear on the washing liquid pipes. It shall be understood that the invention described may be modified and adapted in several ways without departing from the scope of the inventive concept.
Moreover, all the details of the invention may be substituted by other technically equivalent elements. In practice, all the materials used, as well as the dimensions, may be changed to meet specific needs.

Claims
1. A wall-mounted dishwasher comprising:
- a casing (2) in turn comprising a bottom opening (3) ; 5 - a carriage (4) which can be pulled out of the casing (2) through the bottom opening (3) and which is mobile between a first configuration and a second configuration, the carriage (4) comprising means (5) for positioning the dishes to be washed and which are, in the first configuration, at least partly inside,
I0 and in the second configuration, outside the casing (2); the dishwasher being characterized in that it comprises at least a first and a second duct (6, 7) for conveying a washing liquid, one of the two ducts (6, 7) being immovable relative to at least one fixed portion of the casing (2) and the other being integral
I5 with the carriage (4); the first duct (6) comprising a first end stretch (61) which, at least when the carriage (4) is in the first configuration, faces a section (75) defined by the second duct (7) for the passage of the washing liquid, thus allowing the washing liquid to be 0 conveyed between the first and the second duct (6, 7).

The dishwasher according to claim 1, characterized in that the carriage (4) comprises a closing portion (8) which, in the first configuration, completely occludes the bottom opening (3) , it being possible to carry out a washing cycle in the first 5 configuration, and, in the second configuration, the closing portion (8) being spaced from the bottom opening (3) .
3. The dishwasher according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the second duct (7) comprises a second end stretch (71) which, at least when the carriage (4) is in the first
30 configuration, faces the first end stretch (61) .
4. The dishwasher according to claim 3, characterized in that when the carriage (4) is in the second configuration, the first and second end stretches (61, 71) are further apart than they are in the first configuration.
3S 5. The dishwasher according to claim 3 or 4, characterized in that the second end stretch (71) comprises a funnel (72) whose cross section narrows in the direction of flow of the washing liquid .
6. The dishwasher according to claim 5, characterized in that relative to the direction of flow of the washing liquid, the second end stretch (71) comprises, just downstream of the funnel
5 (72), a diverging element (73) where the cross section increases in the direction of outflow of the washing liquid.
7. The dishwasher according to any of the foregoing claims, characterized in that the first end stretch (61) is shaped like a nozzle (62) .
10 8. The dishwasher according to claim 7 when it depends directly or indirectly on claim 5, characterized in that the nozzle (62) extends round a first axis (620) and the funnel (72) extends round a second axis (720) .

10. The dishwasher according to any of the foregoing claims, characterized in that in the first configuration the first end stretch (61) is at least partly inside the second duct (7) .

12. The dishwasher according to claim 11, characterized in that the casing (2) comprises at the top of it an inspection door (11) giving access to a compartment (110) located above the
2S washing tank (700) and designed to house: water connections and/or an electronic card for controlling the dishwasher and/or electrical connections.
13. The dishwasher according to claim 11 or 12 when it depends directly or indirectly on claim 2, characterized in that when
30 the carriage (4) is in the first configuration, the closing portion (8) in combination with the casing (2), delimits and bounds the washing tank (700) .
14. The dishwasher according to claim 11 or 12 or 13, characterized in that when the carriage (4) is in the first
3S configuration, an interface (63) between the first and the second duct (6, 7) is located in the washing tank (700) and any washing liquid that has leaked out as it passes between the first and the second duct (6, 7) collects on the bottom (70) of the washing tank (700) .
15. The dishwasher according to claim 11 or 12 or 13 or 14, characterized in that the first and second ducts (6, 7) form
5 part of means (871) for supplying the washing liquid to the washing tank (700); the first duct (6) being, relative to the direction in which the washing liquid flows out along the supply means (871), upstream of the second duct (7) and being integral with the fixed portion of the casing (2); and the second duct 10 (7) being integral with the carriage (4) .
16. The dishwasher according to claim 15, characterized in that it comprises a third and a fourth duct (9a, 10a) forming part of washing liquid drainage means (870), the third duct (9a) being immovable relative to the fixed portion of the casing (2),
I5 and the fourth duct (10a) being integral with the carriage (4); the third duct (9a) comprising a third end stretch (90a) which, at least when the carriage (4) is in the first configuration, faces a section (77), formed by the fourth duct (10a), for the passage of the washing liquid, so as to allow the washing liquid
20 to pass between the third and the fourth duct (9a, 10a) .
17. The dishwasher according to any of the foregoing claims, characterized in that in the first configuration the first and second ducts (6, 7) are spaced apart.

The dishwasher according to claim 11 or 12 or 13 or 14, 25 characterized in that the first and second ducts (6, 7) form part of means (870) for draining the washing liquid out of the washing tank (700); the first duct (6) being, relative to the direction in which the washing liquid flows out along the drainage means (870), upstream of the second duct (7), the 30 second duct (7) being integral with the fixed portion of the casing (2) and the first duct (6) being integral with the carriage (4 ) .
19. The dishwasher according to claim 18, characterized in that it comprises a third and a fourth duct (9b, 10b) forming
35 part of washing liquid supply means (871), the third duct (9b) being immovable relative to the fixed portion of the casing (2), and the fourth duct (10b) being integral with the carriage (4); the third duct (9b) comprising a third end portion (90b) which, at least when the carriage (4) is in the first configuration, faces a section (78), formed by the fourth duct (10b), for the passage of the washing liquid, so as to allow the washing liquid 5 to pass from the third to the fourth duct (9b, 10b) .
20. The dishwasher according to claim 19, characterized in that in the first configuration the third and fourth ducts (9b, 10b) are spaced apart.
21. The dishwasher according to any of the foregoing claims 10 from 1 to 14 or according to claim 18 or 19 or 20, characterized in that in the first configuration, the first and second ducts (6, 7) are located side by side to form an uninterrupted channel .

The dishwasher according to any of the foregoing claims, I5 characterized in that it comprises means (89) for moving the carriage (4), said movement means (89) causing the carriage (4), during the passage of the carriage (4) between the first and the second configuration, to follow a path that has a component of horizontal movement and a component of vertical movement.

The dishwasher according to claim 22, characterized in that the movement means (89) comprise an articulated quadrilateral which in turn comprises: a frame (891) integral with the casing (2), a link rod (892) integral with the carriage (4) and two arms (893) connecting the link rod (892) and frame
25 (891) of the articulated quadrilateral.

A method for mounting the wall-mounted dishwasher according to any of the foregoing claims from 1 to 24 on a wall, said method comprising the steps of: placing a template provided with reference marks for making 3S holes for the electrical and water connections on the wall; drilling holes for the electrical and water connections at the template reference marks.
