Fig. 2 zeigt den erfindungsgemäßen Sattelgurt 18 mit einem t-förmigen Abdeckelement 16, dem Martingal 14 und dem Befestigungspunkt 19 (vom Abdeckelement 16 verdeckt).It shows Fig. 1 a partial view of a horse 10 with attached bridle. Fig. 2 shows the girth according to the invention 18 with a T-shaped cover member 16, the martingale 14 and the attachment point 19 (hidden by the cover 16).

Claims (6)

  1. Cinch for a horse saddle, with an auxiliary rein being fixable in the middle area of the cinch for linking with the bridle (12) of a horse (10), whereby the cinch (18) is provided with a cover element (16) covering the fixing point (19) of the auxiliary rein (14) at the cinch (18) in the position of use on the side averted from the horse's belly, whereby the cover element (16) extends forward to the chest area of the horse between the horse's legs and prevents sagging of the auxiliary rein (14), whereby the cover element (16) is formed in the form of a T with a single bridge and two side bridges positioned on either side of the single bridge and whereby, in the position of use, the single bridge is arranged between the forelegs of the horse over the horse's chest and the two side bridges cover the cinch on both sides of the fixing point (19).
  2. Cinch according to claim 1, wherein the cover element (16) is detachable fixed with fastening means on at least one of cinch and auxiliary rein.
  3. Cinch according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the cover element (16) provides a holding member that is arranged between cinch and horse's belly in the position of use.
  4. Cinch according to claim 1, 2 or 3, wherein the cover element (16) is formed in form of a T-shaped pocket.
  5. Cinch according to claim 4, wherein the pocket is closable on at least two sites.
  6. Cinch according to one of the preceding claims with a protective plate at the side opposite to the fixing point (19) of the cinch (18).
